So I was thinking earlier about different things I kinda missed about my childhood, and being like 6 years old, so I thought I'd post a topic so people can share they're memories and stuff.
I miss going to this one library day club every summer. It was themed and everything. You would read books and play games and do crafts related to the topic. It goes up to age eight or so. When I was like, twelve, my mom somehow managed to snag me an unpaid job as like a helper thing at the camp. Ahem. Long story short, I was gently let go. xD
I miss being able to play Barbies or dressup or something for 5 hours straight when I was 6 and not get bored. It doesn't work anymore. Tori and I tried last weekend for kicks and got bored after 10 minutes.
I miss watching Winx Club at 1 in the afternoon every Sunday on YTV, while eating Kraft Dinner. Okay, so I was like 12 at the time, but I miss that.
I miss the 90's basically. When there were good cartoons, and the Disney channel actually had decent shows. Like the Little Mermaid, Recess and Aladdin. Heck yeah.

Ooh, ditto. I miss the '90s so bad. {Or, at least, whatever I can remember of it, lmao. xD}
One of my fave memories was when I lived in Allentown, in the US (I was probably five or so), and my friend Nishant (he must've been, like, seven) and I used to watch Arthur, like, every freking afternoon. I still have some episodes on tape. =D

I miss the days where riding your bike or walking was the only way to get to any destination. I miss the days where snacks, nap time, and holiday parties were incorporated into school curriculum. I miss playing pretend on the playground with friends during recess. I miss the days where "going out" with someone really meant nothing at all. I miss the days where gossip, backstabbing, and cruelty really were nonexistent, as we all were trying to get a feel for the world. I miss going trick-or-treating. I miss screaming for my parents when a bug scared me (and letting them get rid of it). xD I couldn't get away with that anymore. I miss a lot of things. Although, despite not being small in stature anymore and young of mind, I realize you can still be young at heart.
