"Yeah... You got that right," Rain replied, poking and swirlling her fork in her spejetti. "Oh, I wish I was born a generation ealier." She glanced up to Quenn, "Who was your mom?"

Quenn leaned in to Rain and a huge grin imprinted itself upon her pale features, "Can you keep a secret?" she looked around sneakishly before whispering in her direction. "The one, the only, Darcy." Quenn leaned back quite pleased with herself and simply added "I'm not a witch, so dont point your judgment wand at me, deal?"

Rain's eyes grew wide in amazement, with a small element of fear. Her mom always told her Darcy, the witch of darkness, was a cunning and evil witch to stay clear of. She has proberly changed, she taught to herself, calming her toughts down.

"Deal," she replied.

She could sence an element of fear within the girl and only rolled her eyes, sure Darcy and the trix had caused alot of mahem, but honestly after all these years of nothing they couldnt really think something bad was coming, right? Quenn smiled.
"We should make some fun" she said to Rain, "what are you into? music, wait no your mom's a liquid fairy.. sports maybe?"

Rain forget her thought as quickly as it came. A sence of perkiness appeared in her big blue eyes. "Heck yeah," she replied. "But I love dance music too. What's your idea?"

"This and that. Anything thats not sitting in a dull little classroom, reading about potions." Quenn smiled. She knew days were passing and that her mother would want her to get this over and done with, but thats not what Quenn wanted. What Quenn wanted was to make friends, have some fun and learn to controll her magic beyond what her mother could teach her.

"How about a school dance?" wondered Rain, resting her fork next to her empty bowl. "We can organise something like that."
