Dungeons and Dragons anyone? Options

So if you didn't know, I'm one of the biggest nerds ever. So we should have a DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) style roleplay. Dnd settings are a lot like Lord of the Rings. I'm going to go with the 3.5 rules.

I will be DMing and playing the villains.

I want to keep this small, no more than 8 players (minus me). This will be done on a first come first serve basis. If more people want to participate and my schedule allows, I'll create another campaign.

Let's make our primary posting times Friday from 12:00 noon EST to Midnight EST and all day Saturday.

For those of you who don't know what DnD is, here is the Wikipedia article on it ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_&_Dragons ).

So on to character sheets! Please create a first level character. Also please keep to the default races (and only the defaults) (Human, Dwarf, Halfing, Elf, Half-Elf, Gnome, and Half-Orc,) as well as the basic classes (Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard). Also, look at what other classes other people have selected. It isn’t as fun if everyone playing are all of the same class.

Also, we will be using online dice rollers. ( http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm ). I've used this generator before and I know for a fact that it doesn't roll all 20s.

Once all the character sheets are posted, I'll post our plot.

[Another Morning]

Oh man, I haven't plaed D&D in yeeeeears XD

Mostly, my main concern is with the times. For people here in the US or Canada, they probably won't be a problem, but for Europeans or our friends in Australia, those are pretty weird hours of the day.
