I don't know if this is possible with the way things are set up, but I've been thinking it might be cool to have more than one shoutbox available. Mostly, so that people could schedule RPs there.
I know a lot of people have each others IMs, but this would be helpful in cases where people don't use the same service or if they don't want to give out their IM name. And since a lot of the time people who are all from the same RP are online at the same time, this could make things quicker for people who like to RP, since it wouldn't take as long as making a forum post.
There are people who don't like chatroom RPs, though, but other chatrooms could be used for other things like if a group of people need to talk about something without having to sort through non-related posts in the main SB. The different chatrooms would be open to everyone, so it wouldn't be the place for sekrit discussion or anything, but a place where people could go to have side conversations if they didn't have IM or something.
Anyway, it was just an idea I thought might be kinda cool. A few of the other forums I visit have this and it's pretty useful. Like I said, I dunno if the shout box system we have can do that, but it's something to consider.

I think I kind of know what you mean. Do you mean something where you can open a new room or something? Well, if there was a RP chatroom, wouldn't that kind of make it hard for other roleplayers who log in a different time to check back (unless there are pages)? I think it is a good idea though. :)
I kind of use a loot of services and just access them all through meebo but more chatrooms would be handy.

Well it would be for things like chat-specific RPs or one-on-one character interaction, just picking up a roleplay and leaving somebody behind wouldn't really be the point XD

I think that would be a good idea. And it would be easier then posting. But then again if you dont wanna say something that you've just said, you cant really edit the shout.

We might consider doing this. (Notice I used "might" instead of "will", big difference)
Right now, I got a few things to do and that is reworking Member Teams because the coding is very sloppy as ever.

Currently doing it.
Main features:
- Create and join public/private rooms.
- Private rooms require a short name and password.
- Configuration page doesn't use the forum skin (too lazy
) - And the shoutbox is still going to be the current one
