AWESOME! The trailer's out! Gosh I can't wait~

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JlCxf11-JE

I wasn't interested when the 1st movie was out in theatres. but then i watched it online after the DVD came out, and I was instantly hooked, much to my surprise. I then convinced my mum to buy all 4 books for me XD

and I realised the release date's exaclty one year after the winx movie came out in my country icon_biggrin.gif

...

And I will pray that Robert finally does something so... awesome... it undermines the entire movie project and it collapses into nothingness.

Alright, question.

It's not a bad trailer. I ain't going to see it, but the trailer's nice and provides some conflict. But riddle me this:
Where's the moon?
Where on Earth is the full moon? Y'know, that gleaming orb in the sky that makes werewolves change into their wolf form?

in new moon there's a wolf pack, which are shape-shifters and they can transform into werewolves any time (one of them is Jacob, which you've seen in trailer).

Alright...... Classical mythology 0, Stephanie Meyer 2...... Sorry guys, but some things should just be left alone. Do silver bullets still kill them? And are they just like, or stronger then average wolfs? Werewolfs are basically uncontrolable furry death machines.

They're alot stronger than ordinary wolves, yes. And bullets can kill them as far as I know.

But they appear to be really hot {That's why Jacob had no shirt in the trailer, he occassionally wears a shirt actually} and heal very fast.

Plus, Bella broke her hand while trying to punch Jacob in the face.

And then, they appear to only exist to kill vampires. And that takes strength.

The terrible thing is... the Werewolves are supposedly a tribe of Native Americans and they have this whole culture and mythology thing behind it.

Well, in the Washington state location in question, there is a Native American tribe nearby.

EXCEPT MEYER MADE UP A BUNCH OF STUPID-ASS STUFF ABOUT THEM WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO FLY IT BY THEM!!!!

Well, I already stated why not. To much messing around with Ancient Horror rules. (And Stephenie is becoming more and more someone I severely dislike. Research is the key to a good story, even if the story is fantasy, you have to have at least a notion of knowledge about the stuff that you write. No, Stephenie, I'm not impressed by you never researching vampires/werewolves/Indian Tribes. It's stupid and in case of the actual existing people, disrespectful.)

I couldn't convince myself to watch or read the Twilight series even is someone PAID me.

Plus, you know the whole "Telepathic vampire falls in love with a plain girl he can't read the mind of" thing?

It's been done before. By a much, much better author: Terry Pratchett in Carpe Jugulum. And Terry Pratchett is a very, very good author with a great sense of humor, humility, the ability to work with other authors quite well (Neil Gaiman and he made Good Omens, which is a fantastic read), and make sure his Discworld roots have affectionate nods to their source material.

I'm not going to see it because first of all, I read the first book and the movie was an extreme, extreme letdown. Hence, I really don't find it worth it to see the second, since I hated the first.

All the books are great. The first movie left a lot out, but I still liked it. I hope the New Moon will be even better!
