anime's have mostly 12/24/52 episodes per season

Winx isn't anime. It's Italian, therefore European. European standard is 26 episodes per season. There are exceptions, but those are few and far in between.

Let's look at the bright side: if it had more episodes, there would be longer breaks between seasons, and this way we get to see more transformations, and more new villains (not that it's necessary a good thing, but hey).

I wonder if Nabu will come back in season 5. Or at least maybe they'll mention him in season 5. They'd better. Like just forgetting about a character? That wouldn't be cool.
