My favourite Disney movie is either The Hunchback of the Notre Dame, or Pirates of the Caribean.

Any of the older stuff. Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, etc. And Winnie the Pooh, and the stuff they've done with Pixar. And Sky High.

.___. I'm kind of a junky.

Also, nice to see you back, Palladium fangirl!

Pirates of the Carribean. (Johnny Depp should become a full time pirate xD)

If I had to chose among the Disney animated films, I'd chose The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King (I loved these movies when I was little.) I also like Aladin (spelling?)

Cinderella is my favorite, as well. I also like the sequels, mainly because I relate to the character of Prudence. (Did you know that in the Italian versions, Prudence and Griselda have the same voice?)

Mulan is probably the original Disney movie that inspired me the most.

I loved almost every single Disney movie I saw! Especially the re-tells (As in, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, etc.). It's a bit naïve, but I just love Disney's "Happily-ever-after" theme.

Agreed, I love the classics!

And I'm a lover of the "happily-ever-after" endings too, but I like to see a lot of struggle to earn that ending too. It makes it all the better when they get the happy ending.

I 'm totally with you on that. Like with Wall-E, some cynics claimed the ending was 'To good', with the humans doing it right, this time around. That's how I WANT my movies! *Holds up peace sign* Here's to hope and positivity!

Yeah, I mean horror movies and sad movies are cool, but there's just a certain *insert feel-good noun (like magic) here* when you watch Disney's happily-ever-afters.

But maybe that's just 'cause I'm one of those "hopeless romantic" types who always loves a happy ending. =)

You're not. I hate romance (Except when it's slash, or Wall-E/EVE) and can become quite cynical in real life. But that's why I watch movies, to escape real life to a world where everything is possible.

.....

To melodramatic?
