star wars Legacy of the force. series
My favorite books would have to be the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
Ooops! I already posted in here! I'm sorry.
fear street series by r.l stine and the unicorn chronicals by bruce coville
my faves are Harry Potter, Clique, The Series of Unfortunate Events and the Daughters of the Moon.
I used to love "A Series of Unfortunate Events". My favorite book would be 'Wait Till Helen Comes', (a ghost story by Mary Downing Hawn). Another one of my favorites would be Night; a really sad book written by Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor, (the book is about his time in the death camps)...
I really like post apocaliptic books but my favorte book would be Daughther of the Blood antd the other books in the trilogy. It is a rather dark fantasy book, so it is defenatly one for older readers
My favorite book is a tie between "Daughter of Venice" and...Um...There's like fifty more, but I guess I'll just say, "The Lightning Thief."(Yay for being a total dork and actually knowing what they're talking about in that book!)
MOST DEFINANTELY HARRY POTTER I LOVE IT SO MUCH ITS MY FAV THING EVER! i also like chronicles of narnia, eragon and his dark materials series
Mine would have to be The Twilight Saga by the amazing Stephenie Meyer.
Yeah, same here SFW!
I just love the Twilight Saga.
Mine would be Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow and Twilight. I didn't enjoy the next two books as much as Twilight because of the interference of Jacob. Yup, I'm in Team Edward. No Jacob!
My is all the Harry Potter books. I am reading the 6th book right now....
I love any Juliet Marillier book, most of her story lines take place between 4th and 8th century AD in Ireland and Scotland where Druidism was still being practiced. Beautiful love stories with a compelling adventure that is the entire opposite of a cliche romance story. Not to mention I love Celtic culture ^^.
I love the "Children of The Lamp" series by P. B. Kerr. It's adventure, humour and magic all in one, it's excellent!
Twilight series deffinatly!
Before that it was ' A Series Of Unfortunate Events ' and before that was the Icemark chronicles ' The Cry Of The Icemark ' and ' Blade Of Fire '.
My favorite book is Harry Potter!
I loved:
The girl with a pearl earring-Tracy Chevalier
Both 'Bite of the Demon' and 'New Blood' get my vote. Why oh WHY did this series tank?! Why?! It had blood! Gore! Black and Gray morality! Hot Gothic Lolitas coming to the hero's aid! (Okay, that last part is speculation, but still, how do YOU guys interpret 'Gorgeous, in a witchy kind of way?') Elditrich abominations! Shoutouts to Lovecraft!
.....
Oh, right, targeted at Children. Misaimed marketing claims yet another victim. *Puts books on her bookshelf, next to DVDs of Titan A.E. and Osmosis Jones*
can i just say twilight is a crappy series...
I love wicked, and anything palahniuk. plus random books like stuff white people like and i am america.
I love the Inkheart Trilogy...and I also love Twisted and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series...I can't really decide.
Lemme see...
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews and Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi (Okay, so it's technically a graphic novel memoir...but it's AMAZING!!!!)
[noguests]Dont think I posted here yet, so I think my favourite book series is the Harry Potter series. There are a couple of other very good ones too, like Tintin, Asterix, Series of Unfortunate Events, etc. [/noguests]
our school reads persepolis in english 10. we read a couple of graphic novels.
I have alot of favourite books. But I think that the ones I enjoyed the most must have been 'Spell Fall' and 'Cinnamon Tree' and 'Journey to the River Sea'.
Yeah, it's a great book. I read for hours non-stop wanting to know what will happen next.
Lol, I do that with sooo many books...
Same here...
*Reads at 7:45pm, Bed 1am*
Lol, exactly.
10:30 PM - "Goodnight, Mom and Dad! I'm going to bed now!" *turns off light, closes bedroom door and begins reading book*
2:00 AM - Still reading... *yawn*
Same here, I use my torch to reach. The battery never runs out, you charge it by shaking it. So I can read for as long as I can, until I fall asleep, if I do.
Lol, I use my iPod Touch. The backlight is very bright, so it makes it easier to read. xD
Lol, I never heard of that use before. Very Creative. I don't own a iPod, I have a pink mp3 player instead =P
Lol, I just use my iPod because it's battery lasts really long when it's charged, as opposed to my battery-operated torches.
Lol, Yeah...
We love books, don't we?
Yup. And apparently we hate sleep. xD
Indeed, I hate you, Melatonin!
Oooh I just use my wall-light, right above my head when reading in the bed.
And I do the same as you two; I often literally force myself to stop reading at 1:30 AM when it's on its worst... xD
[noguests]Haha I used to do that too... but now its more the same situation but on the computer rather than reading. [/noguests]
ROFL I use my cellphone under my blanket.
My fave book is Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery
I have so many favourites! A new favourite, is "Noughts and Crosses" by Malorie Blackman.
Its a new take on Racism in this day and age fused with a young love story. Even if your not into romance, it doesnt just focus on it, so your going to love it! I wont spoil anything about the plot, but, the term page turner really applies to this! I read it within 2 days!
Its good for writing essays on in school, Im currently using it for my personal study, which is a big part of my grade!
If your looking for a good summer read, you should pick it up from your local library! Also, theres another 3 books in the series, so they could last a while!
Ooh, I love Noughts and Crosses. But I would recommend that someone only reads it if their 13+, it's got a lot of mature content.
I know where your comming from there, but I really think it depends on maturity levels. I think its the kind of thing I'd have been able to handle at 10 years old but no earlier.
^ Sounds good, I'll see if I see it in the library.
My currently favorite books are Witch Child and Sorceress by Celia Rees. The second is a sequel to the first.
They are really touching, especially the second. Almost made me cry. It is supposed to happen in the 1600's. It's the story of Mary, a grandchild of a witch, who needs to flee off to America from England after her grandma had been killed after proving she was a witch.
Oh! I heard those are wonderful!!! I'll be sure to check them out!!
I read the film rights had been sold to "Noughts and Crosses", although that was in an artice from 2006. I hope its still being made though, would make a fantastic film!
I wouldnt be surprised if it had been abandoned, as it would be really controvesial, even though Malorie Blackman is Black herself. Sucks =/!
[noguests]Rereading the Harry Potter series, still on book one. I have read them so many times already, yet they never seize to entertain me. [/noguests]
it's so hard to decide on one favorite book but my favorite all time are the twilight series, unicorn chronicles by Bruce colville, fear streat from RL stine and roald dahl books
MAXUMUM RIDE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FANG!!! IGGY!!! MAX!!! NUDGE!!! GAZZY!!! ANGEL!!! XD
my fave book Despertation by Stephan King
hmm. now that I look back... I have way more faves then just Maxumum Ride books, like Tangerine, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Inkheart Trilogy, Kidnapped in the Yukon and many more that I cant remember at the moment
My favorite would have to Among the Enemy by Magaret Peterson Haddix. It's such a haunting story, and definitely my favorite of the Shadow Children series.
Ohhh, that is a good book! Margaret is an amazing author. I love Double Identity by her as well.
I used to read the 'Among' series a few years ago but never got around to finishing it cause the library didnt have the next book... I read like 4 of them I think. They're really good, I want to reread the ones I've read so far and go further into the series than I did last time.
Oh my BFF read that series! its supposed to be really good...
well, i think, mine are most of warcraft manga, like "The sunwell trilogy".
I loved the Halo novels. However, I could've gone without "The Fall of Reach."
oh and I like The Bar Code Tattoo!
I hate harry potter XD
mine are the House of Night Series and Vampire Academy Series...oh and MANGA's! (and Manga Novels ^^)
And some more... I read very much so I have many fave books and series XD

Will Grayson Will Grayson, Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska: all by John Green
