The Secret World Options

That's a difficult one.
Like, I say if you're not comfortable with the word, censor it out, there's nothing wrong with that but... I also have to say that I think language won't be the biggest issue, later on, considering the adult content. I haven't played the game myself but thanks to a bit of an in-joke on a Discord server I'm on, there's gonna be a (Semi), naked lady, later on.
That said, I'm really enjoying your Let's Play of it so far. I haven't gotten to the second part yet since my youtube timeline is currently.... very full.

And thanks! I released part 3 yesterday and recorded part 4 last night. I'm going to be working like crazy to get part 4 out today, because it's Halloween... but it might have to wait until tomorrow.
I'm LOVING the game. As much as I loved the Park, it was very isolated to...well... the Park.
But this definitely feels like it takes place in the Secret World universe. It's dripping with TSW/SWL lore.

That's good to hear. Some people were afraid it wouldn't be since it didn't start as one but I had higher hopes. The story's usually very malleable in game development until the very end.

It's also interesting being up against the filth and such as an Orochi and not a buzzing bee XD

Right?! Some parts definitely made me jump.
I beat the game last night. I'm moving back to the United States soon and I don't know how much time I'll have to play. So I recorded up to the end. So there's going to be 3 more parts. 7 is the last one. It was a trip XD

That's good to hear. I love it when games get bonkers at the end.

And keep your eyes peeled. There are some moments where you blink and you'll miss it. But there's a very familiar enemy from SWL lurking around every now and again.

I know. (I kind of spoiled myself. That and the whole server started buzzing when... HE... showed up. Even with spoiler tags it was hard to miss.)

I finally made it to Nassir! One of my favorite characters of all time XD

I love Nassir. Even if it's just because he's always so happy to see you. Makes me feel appreciated.

[Ranma]

Right?! He's the one character in the game that not all doom and gloom. He's always all smiles and dances. And I love when he tells the player how serious he actually is and everything he's been through. Nassir is seriously one of the coolest characters in the game. If I could choose 2 characters to have in a party from this game it would Be Nassir and Richard Sonnac.

Also, those two would be so cool to have together.

I'd watch that movie XD

I'd watch the dance-off. (It's canon that Sonnac is also into dancing.)

Me and Tenchi are in the middle of the Last Train to Cairo quest line. He's all "I don't remember this!"

And I have to keep reminding him that he never played the DLC. But I'm still freaking out about how fun it is to take people on with my bare hands and that we actually see our character fight in a cut scene. Since playing the game, while ranking up you always get this "my character is new to the Secret World and still a novice when it comes to things." But that cut scene where you fight that big guy and kick him into the bar made me feel like my character was a veteran and ready to throwdown even with his weapons gone.

Heh, I love that bit. It kind of helped me with my character, since he's supposed to be an experienced Templar who got a promotion due to having swallowed that Bee.

[Ranma]

My one complaint with MMO's is that they never have a bare-handed style. At best they have fist weapons. But me, growing up and taking martial arts, always want a bare-handed character. DDO is the only MMO that allows this to my knowledge. So it got me excited when our characters get to show off in cut scenes like that. XD

So sad we aren't going to get the whip during this quest though. I loved that thing in TSW. It was especially useful since I always played tank and it had an great interrupt ability that pulled enemies to you.

Yeah, not having the Aux weapons any more is a bit of a bummer.
I was personally more of a chainsaw girl, myself.

I wish they'd come out with some sort of announcement or something though for new content. I can kind of get why people are frustrated with Funcom.
