First of all, the backgrounds on both are very nice. I like that frilly outline especially in the first.

I like the coloring on the green dress.

The second picture's pose is very expressive. I like it. The hair is very cool and I like the coloring on the skin.

I have always liked how people make frilly borders around stuff in the background (Like in layouts, etc.) so that was my pick ^^

The hair on the second picture came out really good. And the skin coloring really neat. Not kinda rushed like I find it on the first picture >_> And when I look at the picture, the colors and expression and hairstyle make me think "Cowgirl!" and I feel like I can throw a cowboy hat on her and she'd put it well off ^^

@ShanShan: PSP7 has a tool named color replacer... I learned that from a tutorial XD. Maybe you could look up a tutorial on how to change the line color in PS.

Something a random meme on memegen basically came up with; and I liked the idea XD



Description I wrote on DA for it:

I suck at names. I went over names in my head for awhile and out of all, I found Donna just fit best ^^" Female ghost and all, it doesn't have to have a certain name so why not just throwing Donna on it? *shrug* (Donna = Woman in Italian)

Anyway, so I was on memegen doing random mini-quizzes the other day and ran into one that was something about how I would be as an anime character. I have no idea how to get back to this quiz but I wrote down the results because I really WANTED to draw it. That happens.

Anyway, this is what came out of it:

*Ghost
*Villain (Dunno if I wanna keep it that way... but anyway. She just looks so cute-ish...)
*Waist-long hair/Orange
*Mint-green eyes
*Quarter staff
*Earth powers

I tried capturing all that jazz in, ghost features being no legs and no mouth (Besides, looks cuter without one~), as little emotion in the eyes as I could (The pupils weren't so big un-inked, now shut up.), evil glance (TRIED), the staff being kinda earth-like. SEE IT'S KINDA TREE-ISH.

Woow! Thats amazing, it really is! The shading on the arms and bottom half of the dress especially. And the background looks awesome along with the glow of the staff and purple shiny stuffs.

Thank you very much, Bubu ^^. And I was so very low on ideas for background right now that I mainly relied on the Picture Tube tool in PSP, which produced amazing result of my favorite shiny purple stars and then alot of grass and waterdrops. And the outermost glow.

Nice work. I really like the pose. Coy and shy the way the arms go behind the back. The staff is also grasped behind the back which I think adds a lot of interest to the piece.

The low-contrast coloring on the dress, skin and hair is nice. It is consistent and fitting. The hint of a nose and light pupil-less eyes a nice touch.

The wrapped staff handle is nice. The staff itself stands out a bit too much IMO, but I know you were going for the staff being real and she a ghost. Overall, a nice piece indeed.

Dittycat, that is super cute. There is a lot I like going on in that picture. So I'll list them. :) Look at the pretty background! I love purple and green together. Simple green blades of grass and sparkle magic; it really works. Did I mention I like staffs? And that one is not a style I normally see--a glowing crystal bud. Nice. And the pallor of the skin...or ghost skin? was nicely shaded and appropriately colorless, great contrast to the strawberry blonde hair. Cute, mischievous? expression too.
