I have just recently got an email from Rainbow that we have somehow one where or another violated something by have a torrent for Winx Movie and is request us to remove it.

Well we have to answer their call or else I dont want to see something bad to happen to my members and staff.

Actually, we must not blame them. They are the creators of winx club, and we DID violated the law of copyright. But, how they know that MC......

And sorry for being that annoying but thats exactly why i always suggest the sub-file only distribution...
a Subfile doesn't break the copyright (i think), because you need the movie to use it, so you still need the DVD to watch it... but distribute a DVD-Rip its a total copyright violation... but anyway what is done is done...

Btw... are you sure that eMail wasn't a fake? 'cuz i've heard of other fan-sub groups that have received prank mails like that since years ago, but anyway... i don't think that it worth the risk....

i also was guessing it real or not... but after viewing the original files clearly. It was very clear that the email come from Rainbow server themself. Reason [a bit tech geek talk] the email header can contain a lot of useful info


So base on this email header I'm come to a conclusion.
The email was send by rbw.it staff
or
some1 hacked into their server and disguised themself as a rainbow staff very well. but seem this conclusion is unlikely im going with my first one... >.<

well actually, their main languages are Italian, and maybe because they are not fluent in English or something, I'm quite sure of it.

Because people from their own countries speaks their main languages, not all of them speaks English. Because English is just a communication languages for all of us, but Singapore Main languages is English until the Singaporeans "invented" Singlish.

Since this Email are confirmed that it is from rbw staff, then there is nothing to worry about.

1) I'd still like to thank all people involved in making the subs. Your work will not go unappreciated. It won't end here.
2) I am a loyal fan to Rainbow, but my irritation has notched further due to their complete disregard for the reasons why we are forced to watch a sub in the first place.
3) If they are not willing or considerate enough to explain why the English-speaking world has barely heard a word of the movie coming out then I regret to inform Rainbow that torrents will exist. I will not be cowed by the creators as I am technically not part of their considered audience at this time. So either they can release the movie to those countries demanding it, or stop bothering us.

(Also, any questions regarding the subbed movie should probably be kept off the threads, to be safe. Best thing to do is just PM an admin or friend if you have questions or need help.)

.... Are you serious? i mean, the made it, they can do with it whatever they want....
I know that its really annoying how long it take to be released on a language we can understand, and yeah they start from the harder to translate languages to the easier, but i think that it was exactly to prevent a large amount of pirate distribution, i mean they are not Disney, they cant afford the losses of money that generate the massive underground copy distribution of the movie, more taking in consideration that they would take a lot of time to release the other language version... i mean, if english were the second language release and they take this long to make the other releases everybody would have a pirate copy of it before the oficial release... not only the english speakers 'cuz you can find an english translator everywhere in the world very easily and again they are not Disney so, for the same reason the process of translation and distribution could be slower than the normal expected on a movie like that.... but can we do anything? well that depend of how far you wanted to go...

My original plan to watch this movie was get the script (SRT) translated and Buy an used italian DVD online...
I really dont have the "internet power" to DL a whole movie like that anyway... but the SRT will size about 12kb and after buying the DVD i would be able of watch it...

And seriously say something like "kept the stuff off the threads" on this threat make it lose the whole point isnt it? its like go and tell the police you are going to steal on a bank but you will not tell them when.... LOL

BTW, I hate Disney they are overrated and are just interested on milking the money cow.

Basically, people wants to hate money. I do not hate disney or rainbow spa just because of that, but yeah somehow I got to admit that disney is overreacting. But they have their own reasons of doing this, right?

I'm not trying to side them, but it is true that we somehow did an illegal things. Nobody likes the copyright law either, but too bad it was stated on it.

And why Rainbow s.p.a have to do this? The law duh, I admit that it's annoyed that they have to pushed the English version forward again and again. But maybe they have their own reasons, and also ENGLISH is not their main languages, although the voice actors sucks or something, they had already tried their best. But I really can't tolerate some mistakes they have made.....

And yeah, 2 more months , JUST FREAKING 2 MORE MONTHS till the RAI English coming out in Singapore. We've waited for around a year and a half already, so why not 2 more months?

The point I was trying not to make obvious was to not involve the people on this forum when trying to find the movie. If Rainbow wanted to keep tabs on people talking about copies of the movie, who knows, maybe they do. I don't know what lengths they will go to in order to secure protection of their movie. My reasoning to keep talk off the threads was to keep the integrity of the MagixClub site in one piece, and not bring it down somehow by getting the owners in trouble by talking about a movie that was subbed not quite legally. The subbing process was most likely a long, arduous one which will all come to nothing if those involved are penalized. It's not hard to limit conversations about this through PMing or talking about it off site.

There was an age, once upon a time, when Disney was classic. It ended pretty much with the 21st century. There is a possibility of it coming back however, with the advent of "The Princess and the Frog". However, much to the shame of this society, it's getting a huge amount of bad rep.

And 2 more months until the Rai English comes out. That's still awesome and lucky to the Singaporeans. And like heck if I'm waiting for it to come to my country.

Yo Riisa, u should seriously reply to that message asking about the movie in English in North America and UK, maybe we'll get a better answer considering they started the conversation.

and my comment about Disney, its not that i Hate them just for that... i have a lot of reason to think that it SX.. its more about what you do, how you do it and why you do it.... but this isn't a conversation about them and in fact they doesn't worth to talk about....

And talking about waiting.... The show is not even aired in my country! the movie is just no coming to my country probably never... I just need a DVD.... or the Subs file to attach to it... or wait to the English or Spanish DVD to come...

And I really don't think that they will answer any question about that... well, they maybe give you the dates LOL....
