It still all seems very tentative though, who knows if Nick will stay with winx that long.

A lot of fans have been talking, and we came to the realization that ever since the show started, Nick has always broadcasted Winx in some parts of the world. Plus Nick and Rainbow have a partnership. At this point if Nick drops Winx the show will be gone altogether.

All sounds like a big year for Winx in 2014, Cool how the movie might be in theaters too! :) I just hope everything is worth the wait. Also, did you have to be invited to go the the Expo and watch the trailer or could you just buy like a ticket and go? Anyway, thanks the info Marty! Everything looks exciting!

I mean at least in the US. As of now they don't seem to be too invested in winx so I just am unsure about them showing another season that far into the future.

Call me crazy but I don't think Nick cares about Winx's ratings. I think they are using Winx as nothing more than a marketing tool. Unadinoi is holding a campaign to write letters to Nick to stop the show from getting cancelled. I personally can't see them cancelling the show with the partnership of Nick and Rainbow. So I think their only alternative is constantly putting the show on Hiatus until the time comes when the dolls will sell. Also Nick just cancelled Marvin Marvin, they have also cancelled Robot and Monster. See where I'm getting at. If they wanted to (or were able) to cancel Winx, they would have done so.

That doesn't mean that the entire company will, but I just don't have high hopes they will show it in the us anymore.

I think its touch and go if they do cancel it. I think that if the dolls are making money it won't get cancelled.

Once the partnership is over with and if they decide to cancel the winx Disney Spain has the rights and aren't all disneys connected? Disney u.s could air it. I just wanna see the third movie. Do you think it's going to show on nickelodeon like secret of the lost kingdom or go to theaters.

The reason Young Justice got cancelled was because the Toys weren't selling fast enough, but the ratings were good. Ratings aren't the only thing that guarantee a shows (at least for kids) success. Nick knows that they can make big bucks with Winx. The low ratings didn't start until the 2nd half of Season 5 with all of these different changes in air dates. Once these Sirenix Dolls come out, hopefully the toys will start back selling.

I feel that if they wanted to cancel it they would at least finish the season before ending it all together. I also understand the whole doll situation. it makes sense, but Nick shouldn't just worry about the marketing sector of Winx Club they should look more into rating and weather people actually like it because many young kids do! I have a question though, if Nick were to cancel Winx Club who would make they episodes in English?

That's a good question. Plus if Winx does get cancelled, it would probably just move to Nicktoons. They still air new episodes of Fairly Oddparents and I know for sure that show isn't bringing in big numbers.

As long they do the last 3 episodes on july 14 i am fine! and hope the sirenix dolls come out soon! bc i am working on harmonix right now and hope they have a season 6 and third movie!

in regards to season 6 I read a tweet from the voice actor of bloom saying they had already started dubing season 6 as for season 5 I have a theory from what I heard Canada YTV and Australia are still behind us nick could be waiting for them to catch up.

It's not, it's a special edition doll for the UK. She's sold with a rainbow maned horse that resembles the Creature of the Rainbow Mantle.

I don't think there was ever doubt about that.
The odd thing is, that they're using the wings from the trailer instead of the ones from the series.There currently is no info on the story.

How very odd, you would think the wings would stay the same unless of course that are going to do something like they did with Belivix which had more that one set of wings. However you would have thought it would have come up in season 5 or even at the start of 6

Yes, exactly. I think they must have decided last-minute to change the wings in the series and they didn't want to/couldn't change the movie's artwork anymore.

I don't know how many movies there will be of Winx after this, but I feel this one is a missed opportunity.
Now, I know that it probably wouldn't make sense and I've seen enough people siding on the '2D' side of the 2D/3D debate.... but wouldn't it be cool if we got a movie where we're seeing the newer season's 2D transformations? Like, we get to see Sirenix and Mythix in 2D in the show (Maybe, I still hope for Bloomix being used in 2D world while Mythix is 3D only), and we get to see Harmonix and Bloomix in 3D in the movies. You guys see where I'm getting at?

Definitely 1 more, a live-action one (if they can find international partners). This one is the last one of the trilogy.

No, I'm suggesting they use the non-CGI transformations. Harmonix and Bloomix. Because both Sirenix and Mythix already have CGI. Bloomix and Harmonix don't.

Eldora tells the fairies that there probably are magical objects which are necessary to enter the Legendarium's world at Tir Nan Og, but she hasn't found such items yet.
The Winx encourage her and immediately suggest to visit Tir Nan Og's school where many fairies live who can help them out.

Apparently Rai2 won't split this season into two parts, episode 14 is supposedly scheduled for next Monday.

SUPER SPOILER (episode 14)
We finally see Tecna's & Flora's moms in episode 14!! And Eldora also gets a Mythix wand, although her transformation doesn't really seem to change much.
