Not to be a downer, but I think we should wait til the end of April atleast since its only been 3 and a half months since last time and the whole process should take approximately a monthish I think. So then it could go on throughout May and the winners will be announced at the beginning of June ^^ Is that okay? I'm cool with starting it now too I was just saying lol.

Btw Jah, I checked and Prinny made your award, I remember her saying she was organizing her photobucket a few weeks ago, so the links are gonna get messed up. I guess checking her photobucket or pming her her would be the way to try to find it.

Hmm alrigtie. Sure WINX, help would be cool ^^ So I think the first step would be to see how many people are interested, cause there seem to be alot less active members than there were last time we did this. So how does making a new topic announcing that the awards are happening again and asking who will participate in nominating/voting? Cause it matters to decide how many nominations are needed to become a nominee and other things. Also if there are way more awards then people participating in the selection, I dont think that would make much sense..

Why is there another award show when we just had one? Most awards shows are yearly because they vote on stuff that happened during that long period of time. Now this is the second time that we have done awards within a short period of time and given the current status of the forum, i dont think its best time to do one. The site is barely active, more than likely the same nominess that were in the last will be in this one as well. and its not like we had alot of activity to judge and base things off of.

I get that the site is dying and you guys wanna keep it steady, but there are other ways that dont include doing award shows.

It is 6-monthsish. Well, by the time the awards are presented I imagine it would be. It's more bi-annual. I see your point, though. But it's fun, so why not have it a bit more regularly? And it has always been pretty much the same group of people.

@Humbu, yes, yes a thread. I agree. Garner interest. With the amount of members still regularly on atm, it may be tricky.

Just a thought, though, there isn't a lot newbies anymore, so maybe we should get rid of favourite new member?

Terri has a really good point, about the chance of there not being enough active members to hold the awards right now. {Though I totally agree with Kate's comment of doing the awards twice a year being twice as much fun xD} So with a topic, we can see how many people will actually nominate/vote, and based on that we can see whether its worth starting the awards or not.

I agree with Kate, maybe we can skip Favorite Newbie, since we haven't really had any active new members recently.
Maybe we should eliminate Best Video Maker and Best Winx AMV for this round of voting too? 'Cause we haven't had any new Winx vids in a while.
And maybe we can leave out Best Fan-Fic Author and Most Original Fan-Fic this time, and instead make it Best Winx One-Shot or something, for the winner of the one-shot contest?
Other than that, I'm good with the original list. ^^

I agree with all the changes Jah proposed, but I think we should leave the one shot separate since its a totally different event/contest.

Hmm. I think we should combine the two RP awards and just make it Best RP Award. I'm also not a big fan of the Most Knowledgeable Member Award since its hard to tell and doesnt really go with the flow of most of the other awards which are more personality/talent based. Plus the Best Forum Game award, there havent really been many new ones. Oh and also the Best Blogger award since hardly anyone blogs here anyways. What do you guys think?
