2012, We have something to think about Options

Just watched the movie... Awesome film. Scenario and special effects during all the film won't leave you bored. Altough, it's not what i want to talk about.
This problem is on the human's mind since humanity discovered it. Personally, i never thought about it before, or maybe, i was just closing my eyes on it, but that movie really makes you think about things. The time is running so fast that, when we come to an end, we realise, that there is no more time, and we wasted it for nothing, like most people are wasting their lives right now.
We still don't actually know, what exactly will happen in 2012, will it be a beginning of new era of a disaster, but it will. It's always a new start after the end, but still, 3 years, in the meaning of the universe's time, is nothing! When it comes to the end, we won't even realise, how fast the time has gone.
Much people, like i did before, are just closing their eyes on the problem, niether because of optimism nor disbelief, but because they're afraid. But it seems, like when the year will come, we'll just have to face it.
So i'm asking you, who is ready for whatever we'll face?

I firmly believe that, yes, the human population has closed his eyes to this planet's troubles. But I do believe that this will change. I stated somewhere before that I believe that 2012 isn't the end of the world, or the end of an era, but the end of a mindset. I believe 2012 will be the year that our consciousness will shift away from our self-destruction, and towards a prosperous future. Already the signs are there. More and more people are feeling this way of living we have isn't right. And more and more people are willing to change.

Go ahead and call me ridiculously positive, but it's positivity that we need. Positivity, heart and willpower. My father believes my generation is the one that will change everything for the better, and I'm gonna prove him right.

Hey all. I don't have too much to add here, seeing as I didn't actually watch the movie. However, I just wanted to make sure that we aren't setting ourselves up for panic and paranoia. It's okay to wonder whether something will happen, so I'm not saying don't talk about it. Just...uh, be careful with affirmatives like "It will happen" or "When it happens...". Things like that. I can't say I'm happy with the state of things in a world of misconduct and greed, but to say it's all going to end on that year (or whatever year) will just lead to panic. Don't mind me, carry on with the discussion, and anyone who is reading the discussion and fearing for your life just relax and stay positive. I know, take a cue from this guy...
