The Paladin outfit, while in the game is one of them that is incomplete, unfortunately. (The shirt's missing.)
You now can get the complete one (And basically ever yone you've earned and many more.) through the legacy transfer/account binding;

Legacy Transfer Part 1
Legacy Transfer Part 2

This will get you a LOT (Not all, but a good 80/90%) of clothing pieces you got in the old Secret World, especially the ones you purchased either directly or with, say, CE purchases.

Yay! I'd love for that RP to get back. I've been on a real Bloodlines streak lately.

Me too.
With the amount of money I spent on cosmetics it was only natural. (Bit of a cosmetics fiend....)

Same. My character's strength is directly proportional to how cool they look.

Me too! And I love The Secret World's aestethic of modern fashions with the occasional swerve into the more fantastical and sometimes just bizarre.

Yes! I heard some time ago that they were going to make a Secret World television series, but it never came to be. I would have loved to see that if they were even close to the source material.

It probably wouldn't have worked for me unless they, like, had NO characters from the game since I associate most of them so much with their voices. (Unless they, like, cast the voice actors for the roles in live action.)

Yeah, I would hope that they just kept the basic story, but came up with their own story lines. Can't imitate Richard Sonac.

Funnily enough, with Richard Sonnac, if they took his voice actor, that could work.
Jimmy Akingbola Not only does he look alike to the point I stand by the fact they took cues from his appearance, he's a pretty accomplished actor from what I can tell.

That would be awesome. Richard Sonnac was one of my favorite characters. I loved the Templars so much.

I tried getting my wife into it, but she couldn't get past the beginning. Anything Zombie related gives her horrible nightmares.

I got the PSVR headset with Rush of Blood, and she only lasted 2 seconds into the intro before taking off the headset. She didn't even make it to the start menu. XD

That might also be the VR. Then again, I never tried it because I get terrible motion sickness.

She does too, but she doesn't get too motion sick in VR games. However, I've picked the games she plays very carefully to make sure she doesn't get sick. Most VR games include a teleport mode of transportation that completely nullifies motion sickness.

Hey P-girl, I heard that Funcom isn't developing SWL anymore. Is that true?

Nope. Not true.
That being said, it's pretty clear things have been put on the back burner to focus on other games and most updates have been rather small.
Last Content Update was April 1st and in spirit of that, it was a 'Find out yourself' sort of deal. Which took a few weeks. It had several new, somewhat smaller non-story missions, one for a new pet and one to get the 'Tank Blade' item that manymanyMANY people were asking for to the point it was a meme. There's also the 'Rosenbrawl' which is some sort of PvP.... thing. (I admit I don't look into that. Not a PvP-er) and Shambala now has 5 v 5 matches instead of 10 v 10.
That being said, since it's not story, it's one of those updates where people go 'That doesn't count', which I, personally, think is somewhat unfair. Heck, the aspect of people figuring out what to do was a ton of fun and very in the spirit of the game. (I get like that when people go 'This game is dead' as well. Makes me want to go all Morpheus from the Matrix and shout 'WE ARE STILL HERE!')

Also, the Anniversary is coming up and I'm thinking that has some new stuff. And if not, it gives me the chance to get some more Canine Custodians. (It's my fave pet but it's kinda hard to get so I have it on, like, one alt.)

And speaking of 'That doesn't count'... There's 'The Moons of Madness'. An upcoming, separate game that's taking place in the same Universe, kinda like 'The Park'. Just made by another studio. It's Filth. In SPAAAAAAACE.

Awesome. I haven't had the time to get on and play but I'd be crushed if they shut down TSW. They already shut down wildstar icon_sad.gif

While Maintenance Mode is always a worry, Funcom never outright shut down a game.
The original Secret World is still online.
Heck, Anarchy Online is still, well, online. And that's from 2001.
So while the stopping of content is a real worry, the actual shutting down is not. (Unless Funcom shuts down itself but I don't see that happening any time soon.)
I know that's cold comfort for some, but in a world where games get shut down when there's even the barest hint of trouble, it's nice to see a company still running the servers of what the public would call 'Dead' games.
