Have any pets? Are they adorable? Show us!

I've got two cats (Puck and Sophia), three leopard geckos (Shanta, Savitri, and Sumati), and a hedgehog (Federico).

Dem is a lot 'o pets! I love your geckos, oh, and your hedgehog! His face is beyond adorable and right into I-want-to-kiss-it-but-I-can't. ^^

I have two pets, one is more my mom's pet than anything because the dog is super protective of her.

Here's my baby, Lucy! I love birds =). She's a Blue-Naped Parrot. Anyone living in the Philippines might see her up one of their trees.

Nice pets!
Unfortunately all three of my cats ran away about 2 years ago.
I'm a cat type of person, I absolutely adore them!

XD I can't give him kisses, either, Zhanneel D: Every time I move a tiny bit he gets scared and curls back up.

And I got the names for the geckos from behindthename.com. I wanted to give them Indian names because leopard geckos come from India/the Middle East.

I had pets at once. But i lost them. My budgie ran away and we had to leave our cats. Now i'm just with my water turtles. they are mostly boring. And to Another Morning, i think your cat Sophie looks like a Turkish Van cause their eyes are just like that.

here is a picture of my doggie, Maximallino, named after my sister's favorite guy actor. but its Max for short

i love him. right now he is recovery from a horrible fight with a rottweiler. he is really hurt. scratches on his chest, neck, side of his stomach and the top of his head.his fur shaved off too. he has stitches on his elbow and chest. one of his paw is sprain too. my poor doggie.

MEtB - That's horrible about Max D: I hope he recovers soon! I know people that have Rotties, and you really have to be careful with raising them and stay cautious when they become adults, as they were bred to be very agressive dogs.

All depends on the one you get.
George is a hassle to get out of the cage, but Patches is fine. And when they're out, they're OK. In fact, I have Patches on my desk with me...
*helpful hint: Keep a towel and disinfectant spray around the house just in case.* xD
But they do get fat, 'specially if you spoil them like we do.

Also, some stuff we've learned: to make a guinea pig back up, press on its nose. NEVER EVER pull its tail, or its eyes will pop out. {We learned the last from a book, not, you know, experience.}

...AP that is one of the most adorable kitties I've ever seen. It looks like one of my grandma's, only CUTER TIMES 3000.
Correction: Scrolling up, I find that every single animal on here is ADORABLE TIMES 404040400404.

I oficially declare this thread the CUTEST AND MOST ADORABLE ON THE WHOLE FORUM.

i had my little baby boy DJ sleeping on my shoulders again today it was really cute

more DJ

(the cats tipped their watter bowl over this morning so all the water ran out into the drain infront of the cages and dj decided he was thirsty)

Thanks for the tips Annie. I'll be sure to carry around baby wipes everywhere I go. And I'm really glad you never saw any real eyes pop out yet 0_0. I had a big rabbit years ago, which I don't suggest anyone ever getting (unless you have a large place to keep and pet them in)--they poop like every 10 seconds. Not really a household pet at all. The guinea pigs don't seem as bad, but maybe I can find a little shoe box and fill it with fluffy shreds of newspaper and carry it with me throughout the house =P.

DJ is depressingly adorable D: He looks so little and cute. When Puck was a kitten, he used to like riding on shoulders, too. ;___; But now he's huge and fat and crushes my windpipe when he sits on me.

And I am inclined to agree: Cutest thread on the board at this time.

Also, I just noticed that I had my album set on private. >___> lol oops. I fixed that, so you all can go see the ridiculous amounts of animals pics I have now if you want XD

on the window we have Tonto the oldest of the bunch at 4 months



up next we have cale also 4 months old



Eating my arm is zion (he got adopted today may the scars on my arm be a constent reminder of what a brat of a kitten he was at 9 weeks of age)



climbing my leg we have the coulorfull 8 week old tourtishell violet



looking slightly weird is the 3 month old gabe



here with have the very grumpy princess (uh ok i lied tontos not the oldest princess in 5 months)



sitting infront of my little dj is little miss fiona also three months of age


going from left to right or was that right to left we have dj fiona princess and cale all catching some Z's



OUCH ok ash i get it your a 9 week old who loves my ankles but please be carefull their already sore



and ofcourse the cat we all know is mine my little baby boy useing my phone as a pillow DJ

I know what you mean XD I love animals, but I'm hesitant to work at a shelter or a vet office or something because I really would find so many of them that I'd want to take home.

my doggie is good. but the dog who hurt him is trying to kill him now. everytime my doggie goes by the fence to use the restroom, the dog comes up and barks his head off! mean doggie!
i have a guinea pig too! her name is Lena. i'll post a picture of her later.
she is calm but needy. guinea pig are very needy. eats all the time. and if you don't feed her she squel loudly. she like to eat carrots(like a bunny) and hay grass. she drinks orange juice. the vitamin keeps her healthy and if they don't have that vitamin, their hair will fall off and go bald. we had the experience. i thought she was going to die but no. just need orange. i go outside and let her wonder around the yard or in the living room. my sister were mean and call her a naked mole rat.

metb, it's so cute that you give Lena (great name btw ^^) orange juice! But it's mean of your sisters to call her a naked mole rat. Hope your dog's situation gets better >.<! I have two cats, and my sister calls my slightly-overweight cat 'Fatty' instead of her name, Jade. My cat is Tami. When I figure out how to put camera pictures on the comp, I'll show y'all ;;

My mom and I always go to this place called Kitty City at this pet store where they rescue kitties and help them get adopted. Everytime we go we get so close to adopting like, ten more, but my dad would be wayyy to upset (as well as Jade)

no they didnt escape three of the cats were sick including DJ karina (who is one of the staff there) was hopeing they'd be able to save them but unfortunitly yesterday after i had left they had to put all of them to sleep

Here is a photo of my kitten,
he died last week and I am still trying to get over it.
As you can tell from his eyes he was ill but he got better.
My mom went home to Jamaica for a week, and she decided to give the kitten back for a week until she got back
because she was afraid that me and my sisters couldn't take care of him.
When my mom got back she called her friend, and he told her that the kitten had died.
I am really sad about it but I am happy that he spent his final days with his mother and brother.
My mom told me we will be getting a Yorkie in about 5 weeks, but I don't think any pet can replace him.

Aww, more sadness =(. I hope you'll feel better soon. His eyes are a beautiful blue too, I'm sorry he couldn't grow up. I'm sure you'll grow to love the Yorkie, but you can always have a special place for your kitten too =).

AP-Sis - Oh no, they did end up putting them all down? D: That's horrible. What's really a shame is that ringworm isn't fatal or anything. I just don't get it...

And I'm sorry to hear about your kitten, too, Natasha. It was really cute, though <3 It is always hard when a pet dies, and no other pet can really replace them, but you will still come to love your new puppy. Because they're so cute, if nothing else. <3

Yeah, I am just glad that he didn't have to suffer anymore if he was sick.
His eyes were such a beautiful color, his parents or his brothers didn't have the deep blue color like his.
Yes, Yorkies are simply adorable. Like little fuzzy teddy bears. I love dogs, but I was scared of them for a while
about two years my dog bit my in my face and I had to get 36 stitches on my lip.
My mom thought this time we should get a Yorkie since it's so tiny.

Good thing about lap dogs (like Yorkies) is that they are usually very submissive, or so the ones I have seen are. So if they do something wrong and you reprimand them, they shouldn't be likely to lash out and bite. Instead, they will probably crouch down with their tail between their legs and hopefully feel bad about what they did =P. Also, if they are very willing to please their owners they won't bite either. I think you'll get the hang of it =).

The only thing about Yorkies is that, in my experience, they tend to latch strongly onto one family member. My aunt got one a while ago, and he follows her everywhere. He likes the rest of the family, he's just really especially attached to my aunt.
But they are very small and generally submissive. Even if one did go wild, I'm not sure how much damage would result from a Yorkie attack. o.o They're only about five pounds, and not really bred to be fighters.

Hmm, maybe you should name it according to it's personality? =D A lot of people name Yorkies things like "Sugar" or "Baby" or whatever just because they're cute, but you could give yours a very unique name that suits his personality and he could be all cool and stuff. :­D

Either that, or you might give him a really fancy long name, like Roderik Ponce VonFontlebottom III, or something.

Of course, this is just what I would do because I'm weird. <__< Just name him whatever you think fits him best ^^

Both "puppies" are very cute ^^. Natasha, your dog reminds me of the one in the movies of Benji =P. Unfortunately, the dogs that have played in those movies were mixes though (one was a mix of miniature poodle, a miniature schnauzer, and a cocker spaniel). So not sure...

...LONG POST TIME.
OK, well:
#1: I officially have no pets. George and Patches are with my stepdad {long story}, Chloe is with my stepmother {longer, more agitating story}...and she also stole the fish even though they were my birthday present from when I was five. YES. FIVE.
#2: I do have four pet-like-things that I didn't buy and sure ain't gonna pet:
-Ova the goose {in my grandpa's backyard...she's adorable. And scared of a camera, so...I'll see if I can't sneak one out there...}
-Rocky the flying squirrel {Vito named him. [uhoh, another long story.] After, you know, like, Rocky and Bullwinkle?}
-Steve the raccoon squirrel {HUGE. Like, seriously raccoon sized. And yes, I'm sure he's not a raccoon.}
-Todd the Emo squirrel {So named because he sees the walnuts in a bowl on our kitchen table and throws himself against the sliding glass door.}

My mom is convinced Rocky doesn't fly. But even Daddy saw, and that was before I mentioned he existed.
Anyway, I'll see if I can get any pictures.

*sniffle* seeing this post and the pictures of cats makes me cry *sniffle* my guniea pig dead during my christmas break. a stupid cat killed her! *burst out crying* its not fair. i'm going to get that stupid cat. Lena didn't deserve this. she was so innocent. and whats worse i have no picture of her cause my sister broke the cellphone with pictures of her. *more cry*
now i have no memories of her. i really do miss her. i can't stop crying sometimes.

I read a story in the newspaper about a cat who was killed by 2 dogs, the cat was defenceless on a leach which was tied to a tree. I feel sorry for the poor cat and i also feel sorry for your guinea pig musaenchantixthebest

He reminds me of my cat: loves to sit anywhere near a window.

Indoor cats, at least I'd say, are usually bigger. My cat probably is bigger then most since she eats a lot (food is always available to her). The thing about it is, she gets a lot of exercise around the house (running up and down stairs, acting younger then she is... as usual.), so she isn't dangerously overweight. I don't think your cat looks that large, but if I may, I do have some advice that you may find to be helpful if needed. I found it works to take a piece of yarn and drag it about the house (if your cat is playful, they may follow it around as you're dragging it, thus, getting a slight bit more exercise.) ^_^

Aw, thanks. ^_^ I actually used to be terrified of dogs when I was little... (Of course, I'm not anymore...)

I'm not quite sure how old she is... we found her and quickly accepted her as family; all I know is that she's been with us for a 3 years or so and she was an adult when we found her... *shrugs* She acts like a kitten most of the time though.

Ha ha, mine does that sometimes too! She'll want someone to pay attention to her, so she'll yowl and run around (it kind of sounds like a gallop when she's running.) xD

Yes. There's two tanks.
We have over 70 fish because we have a lot of females and a lot of males. {Mollies, Ple-somethings...}
There are about 20 more at Vito's house, so when he moves in, we'll have, y'know, 90. xD A lot of fish.
BTW Apolla and Dot died since these pictures were taken.

2 boys got sick and one of them has a high fever sickness, and the other one got affected by it. =( Both of them pass away in mid 2006. Then I got 2 girls from my birthday, but they pass away 2 years ago. =( One is bleeding so badly...losing a lot of blood. (sighs) Scary. Cause both of them got into a fight badly over their bed and couldn't hardly eat or drink. The other one got sick since she lived for 3 years. Hamsters only live for 2 years. =(

I'm not allow to get any more hamsters since my mother doesn't want any animals in the house anymore. -_-""

well my cat was in trouble because someone had let their dog run loose in the neighbourhood... i saw the dog cicrcling around my cat in our backyard but i quickly ran and grabbed my cat and took him back inside. I hope it doesn't happen again.
