Moloch Larvae:

Still surprises me that a CHILDREN'S book has one of the most nightmarish creatures ever. Lovecraft has nothing on these crawlers.

Speaking of which.....

As a lover of Cosmic Horrors, that one was a shoe-in

Xenomorph (Remember the name, people.)
