4th episode of Nick.com's Winx week now, and while the Italian version called this episode "The Children of the Night", the English dub gives it a much less evocative title blink.gif as we continue where Broken Dreams left off icon_smile.gif

ETA: So it turns out that this is in fact "Shimmer in the Shadows", which, while a better title than "Zombie Invasion", still seems somewhat less to the point than the Italian title icon_confused.gif Any moderators want to fix the title?

Zombies?
They're vampires.
VAMPIRES.
They're not the same thing. Yes, they're both dead people that still walk around and can spread their 'disease' with a bite, but Zombies usually don't have fangs, are rotting and their mental capacity usually doesn't go farther then 'Braaaaaains'.
Like, seriously, how can you mess that up?

There will eventually be zombies. Zombie Pirates (Insert Pirates of the Caribean reference here) to be precise. So, uhm... how you going to explain that one?

quick recap

Bloom and the pixies are in battle with the Children of the Night who have formed an army to come after her. The rest o the Winx come to her rescue. They contact Daphne who informs them that the only way to stop the Children of the Night is sunlight, which is Stella's Specialty. They decide to investigate the Goth ball to find the Vampires but Bloom, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha are captured and it's up to Stella and the Pixies to save them.

I enjoyed this episode and it was nice to see someone else the hero other than Bloom

I think maybe it was called zombies was because of the kids being under hypnosis. It does seem silly due to whats comming latter

I changed the title for you
