Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Like J.K. Rowling says in the video, Pottermore is going to open in October with some amazing new Harry Potter interactive experience, I can't wait! I managed to get a spot for early access today, and there are only two days left for that. The slots clear out really fast, so if you want in on that before October you'll have to be on the lookout and be quick!

For those who do manage to get one of the million early access slots, the beta opens in a few weeks I guess?? Not at the same time for everyone, though.

Anyway I am really excited for this!

Is it a MMO?

Not sure about the details but from what I get from this is that yes, somewhat of an MMO.

Yeah, from what I've gathered since last post it's more like another way to experience the books, with extra info and extra features like getting sorted into a house or being assigned your own wand.

I'm excited for it! I need my potter fix since I've already seen the movie twice and re-read the whole series!

That's so cool, I haven't had the internet for a while so I didn't know about it (thus missing out on early acceptance), but I'm really excited and can't wait for October, so I can sign up for Pottermore (random though: I like the name, it's kind of cool).

It looks and sounds really interesting, I'm going to reread the HP books, i haven't seen the last 2 movies yet, so getting to see them soon should be a treat.

I'm in, too! CatErised103, if anyone wants to add me.

Was anyone else really surprised by their sorting? XD I've never felt like a Slytherin in my life.

Overall, I think Pottermore is sweet. But I'm disappointed with the slow progress of it and yeah, I get that it is huge and will take some time to open to the public, but I'm bored with it and want the Chamber of Secrets to open up already. (not literally of course!)

I missed the early access thing cause I didn't have proper internet at the time and honestly it really annoys me how they postponed the opening date and have been saying it'll open "soon" for months. Didn't expect that from something as big as Harry Potter.

Same here... I think the site's great, but considering we can't do that much it gets a bit boring after a while. =( I'm glad the spells are up now, it's a lot of fun. =D

Aw jeez after I finished the first book there's not really much to do there (I never actually got into the potions or the spells lmao i have 0 patience) but I check occasionally to see if Hufflepuff is doing better!

But Hufflepuff is always at the bottom pretty sad really =(

I feel to same way about Hufflepuff... it doesn't make me very motivated to keep on making potions and doing spells. XD

@Abby: hmm I think the pottermore insider said they'd release it this year, when the site will be open for everyone. =s

I hope it's soon. I just thought that they wanted to have it open to the public by now, wasn't the date supposed to be in October?

It was supposed to be back in October, but they postponed it and they haven't released a new date yet at all!
