It looks like 4kids.tv (CW4kids) lost the rights again. o.o

Now Nickelodeon has the rights for Huntik but is set only to air on Nicktoons only (USA):

“Huntik: Secrets & Seekers” Premieres August 6 on Nicktoons

Huntik: Secrets & Seekers is coming to Nicktoons this August. The series aired for one season (26 episodes) on The CW4Kids programming block in the United States in 2009. The show has a second season (26 episodes) that premiered overseas this year.

Nicktoons.com describes the series as: “Long before recorded time, humanity faced an evil of unimaginable power. Nothing was safe from the all-consuming darkness. But from the ranks of mankind rose the Seekers, those capable of Invoking an army of powerful Titans from another world. With the Titans at their command the engaged in epic battles against the forces of oblivion, and each other. Countless centuries passed. One by one the Titans were hidden, safe from covetous hands; some were lost in the aftermath of great battles, some simply forgotten, buried in the sands of time. Now, even in this modern age, the lost Titans sleep, waiting to be taken up by a new generation of Seekers!”

The show premieres Monday, August 6 at 8 p.m. ET on Nicktoons.

Huntik was created by Iginio Straffi, who is creator of Winx Club – which airs on Nickelodeon.

So far I think I'm up to episode 11 and it's pretty good. At times I am a little confused during the actions scenes, but thankfully using my fully developed brain (I knew it was good for something!), I was able to put things together and come to conclusions about whose power does what and where that Titan came from and many other questions I tend to have. I've found that clarity of events and actions scenes would still go a long way though. =/ The Titans are still interesting and we get more of a look into the Casterwill history. That's cool by me. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the animation is more flash than the first season? Well, I think whoever watched the first season will enjoy this next one just as much just on content alone.
