Hi,

I decided to make a new thread topic for a section of Pop Pixie since I don't want to keep posting it on Winx Season 4 cause it's all for Season 4 Winx.

As we know, everyone seen this Licensing Show 2009 Preview already. =)

Yep that's the one.

Here's a storyline: The story takes place in a fantastical dimension called Pixieville (suppose to be Pixie Village), where gnomes and magical animals live happily and peacefully together with the Pixies, sharing everyday life as well as major events in the community. But they are not alone: there are Elves, naughty creatures who are always ready to play a joke and stir up trouble (Pixie size with punk/goth-like outfits)! Magic, adventure and humor are the main elements of this new series.

Here are the New Characters that will be in the Series with Lockette, Amore, Chatta, Tune, Digit, and Piff.

Meet Rex, Maxine, Floxi, Narcissa, Lenny, and Yucca.
Those are Elves and plays jokes and evil things towards the pixies and animals. (Notes: they do not have wings..they are short of look like witches and wizards. But they are really elves since they have pointed ears.)
(They may not look like that, since they might be changed a bit. Like they did with the Flyer with Winx Season 4 and changed their looks.)

Facts About This:

* Pixie is one of the most recent successful products signed Rainbow.

* The Pixies are minifatine appeared for the first time in the second series of Winx Club

* Keep and comical, with their sympathy immediately won the Winx, and of course their fans! Meanwhile, Pixie, the monthly magazine, on newsstands from May 2007, is recording an extraordinary success, with more than 80,000 copies sold!

* Arrival in the animated TV series Pop Pixie is scheduled for early 2010, with 52 episodes of 13 minutes.

* The series will comprise exactly 52 episodes and not from a first set of 26 episodes and a second set of the other 26 episodes!

* In this new series there are fairies, goblins and many new characters, in addition to the six already known Pixie.

* The company is working with Red Whale for the Rainbow Pixie.

* The writer of the TV series will be Artibani Francis, former scriptwriter for Winx Club.

* Pixie will be a comic series and episodes animation, quite different from Winx Club.

The pixie's voices in 4kids are better in my opinion (Okay, well the whole dub is better in my opinion, but that's not the point)

But, I'd rather 4kids dub season 4 than this! If they dub this and not season 4...well something wrong with that picture.

i am not sure how this will go but i will most probably have a look at and episode or two and take it from there.

I would have prefered the pixies to stay the same in terms of looks

This confuse me...they still have a Licensing Show of the Winx Club and the Pixies. But why they don't want to air the shows to USA? Is it just that 4kids.tv can't program it into a TV show? I know 4kids.tv is gone..on Saturdays mornings..but why not the other channel called CWKids.tv which is the other name from 4kids.tv

I mean seriously...they show the sneak peaks of displaying the sneak peaks of Winx Club and The Pixies. But they are not in TV yet? It's weird...

Someone emailed 4kids.tv that Season 4 of Winx won't be airing....0.0 I wonder what's happening...I just hope they will air the Season 4 and the Pixies...they gotta air it. -_-

I still can't wait to see this. ^-^ I wonder what's the elves' evil plans?

Still no news yet for the Pop Pixie. Still searching. =)

PS. I'm use to 4kids.tv because I love their voices and I'm American. (That's my opinion). But I just don't like the way they keep cutting the parts out. It's a bit confusing. Just wish they have a same plot like RAI and change the voices to American Style.

From what I know, a liscensing show is a way for companies to sell their shows to TV Channels. So this is their way of trying to sell Winx and Pop Pixie to the American Audience.

Yeah...just hope there's a chance to bring Season 4 and Pop Pixie to USA...especially the movie too.

Cartoon Network from USA has Winx Club already in 2005, but stopped and moved to 4kids.tv only. -_-"
Don't know about Nicklodeon...

To Humbu111: I don't know the text of them because it's too small. So I don't know what it means to translate in English. ^^" Although, I'm half Italian..know some words a bit but not all of them.

I don't know why, but I don't like cartoon network. Some shows are really annoying, rude in ways and pointless (No offence to people who like it.) I'd prefer Disney Channel, or maybe Animax if they are playing my favourite anime shows....

I like cartoon network, but..not all those silly shows. Just only watching Winx Club. xD So that I don't have to wake up at 8 in the morning at 4kids.tv channel. Cause I'm still sleeping. ^^" Cause usally, cartoon network airs Winx Club from 5:00 to 6:00 which is 2 Winx Club shows in 1 hour. (30/30 minutes). =)

Erm..Winx Club can't be in Disney Channel..cause it's not from Disney. =( Plus Disney is against it because of the issues with W.I.T.C.H -_-" (Sorry, W.I.T.C.H fans, I'm not being offence..just explaining). They mention it looks the same because of the powers and stuff with ideas. 0.0 (Sorry, if I'm a bit off-topic, just explain the TV stations for Winx on USA)

Well..
I'm only on episode 9 of WITCH, and.. well. they are alike, alot. Too alike that I don't think they could be on the same channel.
I mean, the plot doesn't surround the main character discovering her past, but from what I've read on wiki, Will is the most powerufl and doesn't know it. Same thing, Bloom is powerful and doesn't know...

You know how much I hate that argument? So they both have red hair and are the leader. BIG. DEAL. They're completely different personality-wise, the shows look completely different, the storyline's completely different, they're just the same genre. And a red (Haired) leader? Happens. A lot.

Same here. I'm not that much of a Magical girl-fan. Winx stands out because the outfits are unique from each other. Most Magical Girl suits are similar in one way or another (From what I've seen, I ain't no expert) while Winx has a distinct suit for each girl, no matter which fase. The only thing that's similar is the sparkles.

Well, as I've said before and probably say again:
When they turn cutesy characters that are intended for a very young demographic into what they have now (looking at the pictures: the outfits, the poses), then they're just begging for criticism and negativity.

I could quote everything I said in one thread and post it here, but I'll just state my point simply:
These pictures alone support the claim that this show is inappropriate for the demographic they've acquired. They alone are a legitimate basis for complaint.


The pixies brought in a younger demographic, and now they're feeding them this material. It's disgusting. I sure wouldn't want a 5 year old influenced by it.

Very true. This new promo image is much better than what we had previously seen.
I suppose I said that while thinking of the older images, and also considering Amore's pose/ facial expression in the promo image.

I simply do not think it's as appropriate as it should be for the young viewers they've acquired... Little kids are particularly influenced by everything they see; including what they see on TV.

I agree.
I'm glad they did a little "cleaning"... (They should have simply discarded the inappropriate facial expressions/poses altogether, though. And maybe even reconsidered the wardrobe)

I'm hoping the plot and the series in it's entirety is better (in appropriateness) than what we've seen so far. Otherwise, I'm afraid, it might not do so well.

Can't wait to see how this will turn up. and is it me or does Narcissa remind you of Darcy.

Nope, Winx Club doesn't air in Cartoon Network anymore in USA..it stopped since 2005 and they moved to 4kids.tv but then 4kids.tv is gone again last year December 2008. -_-" Still a chance if will air on CW4kids.tv or other channels, but not Disney.

Although, I never watch W.I.T.C.H before I just heard the news about it...like long time ago...okay..this is a bit off topic. ^^"

Your country has a different channel for Winx. =)

USA only aired Winx Club Season 1 in Cartoon Network, but stopped. Since it moved to 4kids.tv. (Again, it's for USA) not your country. =)

Costa Rica is a different location so it's not part of USA. ^^"

We have different channel stations. Trying to explain it better for you. ^-^

Nope...

Cartoon Network is Different than other countries. Don't know why. Cause I can find the differences since Cartoon Network in USA has a Cartoon Network Logo that is always in down left corner not upper left corner.

Since that Rai-Eng is from English Countries throughout Europe and Asia and ect has that, but not USA. Since my country is using the 4kids.tv version. =) But 4kids.tv isn't there anymore so we are now using CW4kids.tv but Winx isn't airing yet.

Lol, no idea? Probably there's an international channel to see Winx in Rai-English. Which means a person has to pay for the cable company in order to view other countries' channels. Although, seems to be too much money..^^"

They have RAI (Italy) in USA, but you have to pay the cable company to unlock it for you. Which is a lot of money.

omfg motorcycle XD I actually really like the villains! The Winx fighting evil pixies sounded kind of lame, but pixies fighting evil pixies (or elves) makes a lot more sense.

I am kind of hesitant about the new outfits, though. And now they transform, too? You'd think we would have heard about that ability before now...

[noguests]OMG I saw that! Remember a while ago I said as a joke about the pixies getting transformations? ROFL! I actually think it looks pretty cool though. Look on the bright side, their outfits are modest and the villains look awesome. Oh, I can already imagine Chatta going crazy in battle! I wonder how she fights with chatter though... xD Is it just me, or does she seem to be attacking in Flora's power and Lockette in Bloom's? And the only potential problem I see with this is that when the Winx are visiting the village, they could like knock out those elves blindfolded. Maybe they're gonna say the elves are immune to Winx magic or something? Either way, I'm excited for this series. [/noguests]

Lol...yeah I heard about it. I thought it was a rumor..but it was true. Lol..I have the same imagination as you. xD Hm, nope, I don't think so. Cause Chatta isn't a Flower Pixie. She is a pixie of Chat. It may be in different magic spells like it has a different colors for each magic spells. (Don't know how to explain it. ^^") Same thing as Lockette as well. Different magic spells with a different color.



Lol...no idea. I think he is sniffing through a potion by an accident which gives him a high fever? Plus..it's a pixie pet. ^-^ Like in Season 2. I wonder if the pixie pets will be the same or new pets than Season 2? No wonder if Ron-Ron (In the Movie, Bloom's pet cat.) will be in that series? xD Maybe?

my opinon is that it's cool to let the pixies have their own show (hopefully aring in the U.S) (probably not =[) but in season 2 it's like hello pixies season 3 & 4 they just dissapear they aren't well a big part of the story .... there wings look awsome and i like the name poppixie

I'll keep it short: Not only have the promo images already stirred an epic amount of distaste for the series within me, but a mini-version of Winx? *facepalm* At least, that is what it appears to be... I suppose we'll see... I'm much too skeptical of this for my own liking, though.

Chimera was gorgus!! but not quite gothic, she's more gothic lolitta. but without the japanese touch. its the americanised gothic lolita wich is toned down.

Mirta & Lucy went close to goth though.. but i think Mirta was more halloween than gothic and Lucy.. well she's a witch xD

Rainbow in an autumn fair

The company will outline its property to the BLE of London and MIPCOM in Cannes

Rainbow is attending the Brand Licensing Europe in London (September 30 to October 1, 2009) is at MIPCOM in Cannes (5-9 October 2009). Numerous news to the English fair, where they will focus on proposed Poppixie, Winx 4, Huntik - Secrets & Seekers 2 and Mayan Fox - Tag Your Life. With the latter property, in particular, Rainbow points for the first time the target population of teenagers, which they are addressed the many marketing activities organized in support.
The presence at Cannes, however, will be characterized by the previews to visitors. At MIPCOM, in fact, will be shown the first episode of the series of Poppixie, already pre-sold to over 20 broadcasters around the world. Preview for the second series of Huntik Secrets & Seekers, in which Lok and his team of searchers (Seekers) live new adventures and face new enemies. Summary:

I don't think Kiko won't come since he isn't a pixie. He is an Earth's Bunny, mainly wants to be with Bloom since he doesn't like the pixies (Jealous always since he is only a pet and friend of Bloom's). ^^" Wish he is a Pixie since they made me confused cause he has wings in Season 1, the last episode. Then the rest of the Seasons he doesn't have it anymore...which is strange.

The Pixie Pets they will be in the show...but it's a different look as you see in the trailer...it might not be the same as Season 2. =( Since this is a new look and animation.

The series has been purchased and will be aired on channel MTV3

Rainbow has announced that its latest production PopPixie was sold to the channel MTV3 Finland . PopPixie had the worldwide debut on France 3 with good results: to follow the series was launched in September on TVI (Portugal), Clan TVE (Spain). The series will then be launched onto Canal Panda (Portugal), Kanal D (Turkey), Rai (Italy), Alter (Greece), Junior and MTV3 (Finland), MBC (Middle East and Africa) and Noga (Israel).

Watched it. And it's great! Awesome animation, new songs, new charaters and great voice actors used. It was a pleasure to watch it. It's also pretty funny too. The only thing that really disturbed me was the fact that I think Livy's now a guy. Livy's girly features and voice was taken away, and her poppixie transformation was like the other male pixies.

So far, I've seen none of Tune, Piff or Digit - I only spotted them in the background, but I'll keep watching to see if they pop up. I've only watched two episodes so far too.

I've watched another batch of episodes... still no Digit, Tune or Piff, but Livy's coming up quite a lot. I'm not 100% sure Livy's a boy now, since no-one said 'He' or 'Him' refering to Livy yet.

Chatta's voice seemed to change in one episode to Stella's voice... xD

Aw. =/ I hope they will be in the Series. We only saw them in the preview? -_- Really? 0.0 How is Livy a boy? She is a girl? I know you mention about her transformation looks like the boy's part. It's so strange. Aw, wish we can see the episodes but they aren't up yet. ^^" They call Livy "her" or "she" right?

The Pop Pixies look cute and funny. ^_^

Though, not happy that they don't show alot of appearances with Tune, Digit, and Piff. =/ They were the minor characters of the Series. Usually, focuses on Lockette, Amore, and Chatta and of course the New Characters. At least they showed one episode of Tune, Digit, and Piff about how they got their Pop Pixie Powers. Also as well as Digit when they showed the episode of technology issue. xD

Might be weird...but I heard in the episode and from the helpful discussion from the Italian Forum that Livy is a......boy. >.<" In the Winx Series she is a girl. Then in Pop Pixie she is a boy? 0.0

Wow that is weird, they shouldn't change a character from female to male just like that with some reasoning. I wonder why digit, tune and piff have been largely ignored. I suppose piff is kind of understandable but Digit and tune are not in my opinion

That's right. I even wondered why Tune, Digit, and Piff were largely ignored...maybe they weren't important, but they are important. >.<" They are not even up in the Official Pop Pixie Site either. =/ There's no Pop Pixie Toys of them as well. -_-"

I don't know, might be base on the popular seller since Season 2 that Lockette, Amore, and Chatta were the top Pixie Dolls than Tune, Digit, and Piff. =/ Lockette, Amore, and Chatta are the same similar in line as Bloom, Stella, and Flora.

Yeah...I even wondered why they focused on the top sellers..>.<" Why not show all the characters of the series will be fair for the fans to have them all. =/ I seen that most of the Winx Fans were having trouble of finding the dolls and stuff of Musa, Tecna, and Layla. I mean most dolls don't have Musa, Tecna, and Layla. Only main was Bloom, Stella, and Flora. (Few Dolls I mean like we can find Musa, Tecna, and Layla on Winx, Charmix, Enchantix, Believix, and Special Occasion of Season 4 and Movies. Just can't be found with anything else like "Birthday Winx" and Random Events that are not from the Series and Movies.) Most of the backpacks, school supplies, and other things were Bloom, Stella, and Flora only. =/
