Internet explorer sucks, period.

Firefox/chrome are much faster and safer. I hacked firefox on schools computer.. 5 times faster. Seriously, ditch IE

... I'd actually recommend using Safari if you want a speedy web browser. It would be my personal favorite (since it's fast and easy to navigate.)
Here's a couple links from Apple's official site:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/Safari_3_2_2_for_Windows
http://support.apple.com/downloads/#internet

If you don't like that, though, definitely use Firefox.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html

Personally, I think the old versions of Internet Explorer are 10 times better then the new version(s)... I have Internet Explorer on my extremely old Mac OS 9 (this came out in the late 90s), and I can easily say it runs better then the new version.... :/

I definitely prefer Firefox. It's prettier, and there's useful plug-ins for it...
{Plus I find it easier to use, in a way.}

I prefer Mozilla Firefox over Internet Explorer, it has way more plug-ins and a lot more advanced features if you ask me.

Heh, what about Opera, Safari and Google Chrome? I actually have all of them installed on my computer with virtual machines with XP, Vista for IE6, IE7 and IE8. (it's for web design, honest)

*poke* You should get a Mac for web design. icon_mrgreen.gif

Safari is my personal pick for a good web browser. I can hardly stand using anything else. (I'm just accustomed to ease of use when it comes to internet browsers, so I prefer Safari. Plus, it's fast... very fast.)

I'd definitely even prefer it over the more popular Firefox, but if I had to pick between Firefox and Internet Explorer only, I'd definitely pick Firefox.

I've never heard of Google Chrome... *runs off to look it up*

Huh? Where did they said that brave statement?

And if you used IE8, you get to win AU$10,000:

I'm not so sure that this is a good idea...

Oh..I don't have Internet Explorer 8. I have 7.
I don't use Firefox either..don't have one.

Strange? My Internet Explorer 7 is so fast??? My cousins has problems with theirs..they kept wondering why my internet explorer is so fast. Since theirs is always too slow. -_-

I don't know...I guess I might have a high speed internet connection =) My internet never slows down. It still fast and no problems at all?
