As most of you probably already know, season 5 has been confirmed!
I understand there are no news on the season at the moment but I just thought I would create this topic so that if anyone knows any info on the upcoming season they can post it here!

Second season had charmix which is not entirely a new transformation, but still counts (they transform, and get new powers).
Season 3 had enchantixes.
Season 4 has believixes.

Liking it and financial success isn't the same. Many good movies flopped. Besides, the entire Season 4 just screams 'Franchise Reboot.'

It's called a saving throw. It's fairly obvious Iginio needed an excuse for Believix. I don't mind it. I buy it and Believix PWNS Enchantix, but I see it for what it is; an excuse for another Transformation because he wasn't anticipating Believix when he developed Season 3.

And then the ability to help make people believe will be pointless. They wouldnt revert back to enchantix since the believixes are so much more powerful. Thus a new transformation would be needed. Well for my opinion..

I'm thinking that Ms. Faragonda didn't know that there's a another set of transfomation at Earth until she tells the story. Cause in season 3, she mentions that Enchantix is the Last Stage in Magix. It's only in Magix. No one doesn't know that cause maybe Earth has a different transformation than Magix.

I mean look at Roxy, she is from Earth and Last Fairy of Earth. She earns her Believix cause she is from Earth. There were Fairies are Earth when Ms. Faragonda shows the story of what happen. See the differences? The Winx Girls are from the Magical Universes and that's why they have like Winx, Charmix, and Enchantix. Those are the Fairy Stages in Magix (Teachings from Alfea xD).

Earth has a different Fairy Stages. I guess...

Cause she mention about the book, about Believix. Which causes the Earth people to believe in magic and fairies. She also say there's many transformations..so I'm guessing there's a lot to unlock...not sure cause transformations keeps going.

I would like to point out that I watched season 4 (with subs) and in one episode (I think it was episode 1, but not sure) I clearly remeber Faragonday saying
"...you will achieve the stage of believix, which of course will not be the last stage..."

PS I reckon believix will look awsome in 3D!

... I wonder what the demographic for season 5 will be...

I was going to leave it at that, but, I'm curious because of the following:
The PopPixie show is coming out (and that, undoubtedly, is a show to attract younger viewers who may have enjoyed Winx)
The demographic for Winx Club has steadily decreased over the seasons.

Maybe they'll target an older age group now that they're releasing a show for the younger viewers.
Or maybe they'll just keep it the way it is if season 4 is popular.
Or maybe they'll even decrease it more and contribute again to that steady decrease.

Second Movie will be first before the Season 5 because they are working on the Second Movie which will be releasing Next Year Christmas 2010. =) Season 5 may come out on 2011..don't know the actual planning.

I don't think they can't...I don't know cause they sure wanna stick with the highest strength of transformation to defeat their enemies who are stronger than those types such as winx, charmix, enchantix, don't know about believix if they have trouble by defeating their enemies. Just a thought.

That would be terribly, and incredibly, odd.

Honestly... I'm hoping they stick with the Believix (enough change already, ha ha ha), mainly because of the fact that they've only changed their transformations every season so far (and I'd just like them to stick with one transformation for once), and I'm doubting their "excellent naming skills". (*Cough*, "Believix" still isn't sitting well with me).

yeah..I remember when I saw the Omega Episode when they save Tecna..I was like..their feet doesn't get cold in the cold ice? xD If I was there..my feet will be freezing. xD

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a new transformation, not because it would make sense in the story, but because that way they can make new dolls and other products, and because the general idea is that kids have short attention spans and things that are NEW and SPARKLY will keep their attention.

And "Enchantix slippers" is a lot more elegant than that I normally refer to them as XD I normally just stick with "Enchantix wirey foot things"

i prefer the boots, the enchantix ones were nice and elegant but a bit strange.. i think they suited enchantix and probably only enchantix. cuz you can see they adopted a more casual, simplistic style for believix.

for the sake of more pictures, and drawings i hope they make a new transformation.. but for the sake of my poor brain overlaoding with gourgousness.i hope they dont xD
but yeah i agree with AM, they probably will but more for comercial sucess than for the sake of the plot or show.

I always just figured the leg things were supposed to be updated versions of traditional fairy wear. Alot of fairys are seen either in rags or plant related clothes with vines and petals wrapped around their arms or legs.

I figured their shoesies were supposed to be like modified vines and their enchantix clothes are flower related. Everyone has some kind of plant/petal reference in their enchantix. Enchantix is definatly traditional fairy inspired

With its popular Winx Club program, now gearing up for a Fifth Season, Rainbow has taken multiplatform exploitation to a new level. The fourth season launched in April, making a total of 104 half-hour episodes. In addition, one theatrical has been released, with another on the way. There have also been two live musical shows, fashion-themed dolls, comic books, home video, video games, an MMORPG game and more than 600 Global Licensees.

"We have to be creative and try to put shows on multiple platforms," says Straffi. "The money is not there from just broadcasters. Even if you sell to ten countries're still in deficit."

For now, Rainbow is riding out the economic storm. "We are probably still financially strong enough to maintain our pipeline of production," Straffi says. "We hope that in the next year or so there will be an improvement. Five years from now if the situation remains this bad I do not know what the story will be. Thanks to Winx Club we continue to be the number one property in many countries."

I don't think it's gonna be Glamourix, or anything fashion-related. So far, with the exception of lovix, names were related to magic (charm, enchant) /source of magic (believing), or, in case of wing names and sophix, it was related to specific task. So, unless they have glamour as main source of power, I don't think rai will go for something like that.
But, then again, I'm often wrong about how Rai people think...

Lol maybe Flairix or something of the sort. So far the enchantix transformations are my fave but we'll have to wait till season 5 comes out...should be interesting.

Ok, I have heard the following rumours about the new season:

* Bloom will give birth to a girl called, Anniona
* Stella and Layla will die but will be revived
* New members called Mirta (I would assume the one we know), Luna and Annonia (Bloom's daughter a member of winx?)
* The new transformation will be called...Elimaximum???
* Mirta will have pors over weather (similar to icy's power)

well if you ask me all this seems like a load of rubbish! Reminds me of romours that were around before season 4 came out, 99% sure it's not true.

And WTH is Elimaxumum meant to be??????????

News from Michael's Winx Club:

"This year at Licensing Show 2010, Michael received confirmed news "in writing" that there will definitely be a Winx Club Season 5!!! The quotes states, "A new Series Five, with further adventures of the seven magical fairies, is in production and will be ready in Fall 2011!"
Note: in some countries, series and season mean the same thing, so a new Season 5 of Winx Club is currently in production."

Roxy will be in Season 5 too. Does it mean that Roxy is really a Official Part of Winx Club?

(Some reasons? She is not in the movie yet? Maybe they just want to focus on the 6 girls in the movie first?)

I hope so as well as the stronger the winx become the stronger the villans have to become to cause them problems and if its a new fairy its unlikely they will be strong enough and will just be a liability or do nothing. Like Roxy was at times

Well they had some sort of new one each of the past 4 seasons, so I think the chances are pretty high. Personally I wouldnt mind another one as long as its better than the previous ones, since IMO Believix was worse than Enchantix.

Season 2 didn't have a new Transformation. (I don't count Charmix, that was an upgrade, no Transformation) and the Enchantix/Believix twist came about for quite a simple reason: Season 3 was a bust. (At least what I gathered, might be wrong). In order for Winx to keep successful, they needed something new. So out with the old, in with the new. And for as far as I know, Believix and Season 4 are a success. Why drop that?

I said each season had "some sort of new one", meaning even though Charmix wasnt totally different from regular winx, it follows the pattern of all of them: transformation sequence, more power, unique for each girl, ends in 'ix' like the rest of them. So even though it wasnt an all out new look, I think it was meant to be as good as a transformation for that season.

Anyways, I personally dont think season 3 was a bust, I really liked it. But regardless of the season as a whole, the Enchantix itself was definately really popular with the fans. Thats why it doesnt make sense to me for them to stick with Believix now if Enchantix was just as, if not more popular.

Either way, I think they need a new transformation each season to keep the hype going. They've spoiled us with so many lately, especially throughout season 4, and I dont think it makes sense for them to suddenly stop.

I agree they should just keep it at Believix though but reveal more phases of the Believix like the Sophix & Lovix, I would prefer that then a brand new transformation but i hope they have better attacks though throughout the seres they just kind of threw in random attacks and attack names they weren't really consistent

I can see Believix sticking around and two new power ups being introduced. Sophix and Lovix could be viewed as Autumn and Winter, which still leaves Spring and Summer!

In the movie, they don't let Roxy in because she's not in the first movie. You know, there're people who only know the Winx through the movie and never watched any season, so if they see Roxy in the second movie they'll be like" WTH, who's this girl?". So IMO that's why they don't show Roxy in there.
Anyway, the term "seven fairies" seem to include Roxy as well to me. RAI wouldn't risk letting anyone new at this level of power (it's very high already) to join the Winx. Or would they? xD.

It's Fan Made by the Users. ^^" They made up the story that Iginio Straffi saw Tata's Fan Art Works...it's not true about the info of Season 5..they just made up the story even though I seen Winx Fans in other sites were so harsh against the Forum Magazine on Official Winx Club Site. Since Magazines shouldn't say any info about using the Fan's Art Creation of Season 5. It probably like...I don't know stole the ideas from the fan. Iginio Straffi made his work private and as soon as he is really to tell about Season 5. He will and of course the Official Winx Magazine Comics (Real One, Not Official Site as Forum Magazines) will tell about the info of Season 5 soon with images and sneak peaks.
They have to understand it's Fan Made created by the Users. Not the Official Magazine Staff for the Winx Comics. =/

So, that Transformation is not use for Season 5...fans kept spreading rumors about this same topic everyday saying that transformation is for Season 5....but it's not...

Remember, there's no Official Info of Images of Season 5 yet. Just to clear the confusions of this issue.

Edit: I feel bad for Tata, her Winx Fan Artworks are everywhere in the Internet as most of the fans kept claiming her works as Season 5 and not giving her credits. She mention her works are not Season 5, it's her imagination that she loves Winx and loves to draw them. She doesn't work with Rainbow S.p.A

Season 5 has a possible date for arriving by the end of 2012. Could be possible for December 2012. Molly Quinn said they had finished dubbing and currently animating the episodes.

To me, it looks like Italy will be the first to air Season 5 for September. I had no clue what is Nick's planning. We still need to get through The Secret of the Lost Kingdom this Sunday, then Season 4, and last for Magical Adventure before getting into Season 5. xD (If Nick does this for USA, it would be great and as well for other Nick Countries)
Can't wait!

I'm not sure about the other countries when they are getting Season 5.

I think they're just premiering the season with two episodes together, and then will do one episode at a time. whether it's daily or weekly is yet to be seen, but the one hour season premier makes me think it will be weekly.

So many Roxy Fans wanted to know if Roxy will be in Season 5. It looks like we are getting closer now. It's looks like it's Official now. Roxy will be in Season 5, but she will be in school. So her role will be on and off more likely become a minor character. =D

geez i fell sorry for Roxy, all this commotion in season four and then all we get is a glimpse of her in season five, its like Mirta, they jsut threw her away after a season.. but i mean 7 winx fairies is a bit overwhealming. 6 is a big enough number.

you know im not going to say i hate CGI in the seasons until i see it.. but i hope they do it really well and dont cut corners and make it look like Code Lyoko (which looked really really bad in 3D). *fingers crossed*

It looks like she is an on and off member of the Winx Club. The Original 6 girls have more adventures ahead of them while Roxy stays in Alfea to learn more of being a fairy and training her abilities. This got me curiosity, I wonder if any other Alfea Fairies will gain their Enchantix since they are staying in Alfea for 3 years? xD For Roxy's, I don't know if she will earn the next transformation. Some said her Fairy Form is not Believix as mentioned in the Original Rai-English (not sure) and others said it's her Believix. ^^" Confusing here too as well.

I hope so too, hope they do well for 3D. =S

I don't see how she could really have been a winx member because like what marty said, she isn't as advanced as the other girls, she just found out about her powers. It wouldn't work out with her going to Alfea to learn more about how to use her powers and the winx girls being long gone from there.

It still does seem kind of crappy that she was such a big part of season 4 and will barely be a part of the show, similar to Mirta.

They do make it out to seem like she will be an new member, especially because they said "we'll be bringing back a new fairy" in the beginning of season 4 ( I think the third episode?). I don't really like roxy though so I'm not too upset about her not having a main role.

I kind of have mixed feelings about Roxy. She was/is an interesting character, but her background is too similar to Blooms. Which is probably the reason why she can't be a main character. =(

(I'd love to switch Bloom for Roxy tho! =D)

Thank you Sen for the official details. That is a first, Rainbow trying to release episodes and information to all countries at the same time? I must say that is a good move in the right direction. For the last 2 or 3 years Rainbow has just been out of whack and disorderly it seemed. Straffi finally sees the money-making potential in making sure all countries are taken care of, even the America's again, wow. I thought for sure we would be forgotten again, or at the most be low man on the totem pole. I hope he can keep up with the global maintenance, but with a big name like Nickelodeon taking care of it too I have a little bit more faith it can succeed.

And that's sad too, because years ago when Winx first started Straffi was able to make something that attracted children, tweens, teens, college students, and beyond! It is definitely possible (he's already proven it) to make well-rounded, interesting episodes that appeal to a wide range of ages, and even to guys. I'm sure there are money-making matters taking place, but why ruin a good thing and lose such a big audience? Perhaps he doesn't know how large his audience was in the first few glory years. Otherwise he might not have smothered the characters in dippy lines, contrived plots, Love & Pet, Fruitty Bar antics, ruining a perfectly good set of bad guys (the poor wizards), and starting one of the most cliche rockbands I've ever seen in a series. Oh Season 4, what happened to you?...

It's a shame, to take a formula for a good, entertaining show that reaches a lot of ages, and narrow it down in the later seasons to only appeal to a very small audience. Disney is very much able to create movies and shows alike that appeal to many ages, so Winx-- I'm looking at you Straffi-- you can too!

Oh yeah! The fighting (and kind of bratty attitude) with their boyfriends. I was not happy with that either. Just one more thing the writer's crammed into one season. I know they want drama to keep kids interested, but there was too much of it and it wasn't becoming of the Winx girls. To me that was out of character to fight with their guys so much. What were they even fighting about? That the guys should stop "babysitting" them? Sheesh! The guys are Superheroes! They need to shine in what they do--protecting people. What else do they get to do this season anyway? I'd be proud to have a guy who wants to protect me even when I know I could take care of myself. I would be thrilled to have him nearby watching out for me.

Love and pet is a whole other caliber of corniness though. I could find nothing redeeming with that. I felt like I was watching Teletubbies (from old PBS, ha). How much baby-pet talk can one person take in a season? x_x

The movie (despite not being as good as The Lost Kingdom) was so so so much better than season 4. I thought i wouldnt like it, but it was awesome! I mean its simple, theres a bad guy, theres a transformation. They must beat the bad guy at all costs and theres a reward at the end. Pff im sick of the boyfriend fights and the way they made all of them fight, concidering i dought nabu and layla or heila and flora would fight ober such silly things.

I think they were just trying to redeem themselves from season 3. It's like seasons 2 and 4 are character development seasons, Season 1 is too but mostly with Bloom. But season 3 just felt so chaotic to me.

Thats the best picture I think we have seen so far in terms of quality. They don't seem too bad. Hopefully we will see them all soon in full and high quality.

I've gotta say though....that Bloom Harmonix doll...the face! So much better than the other Bloom's I've seen by simba so far :3 it actually looks like her! and not some girl with like black dots either side of her eyes! I love it!
Plus...the boxes, they look like the jakks pacific ones...

that definitely looks like the best Harmonix doll yet...though it also looks like the most simplistic. I'll be interested in seeing what Jakks Pacific's versions look like, if they even make Harmonix dolls. I hope they do, I'm more interested in Harmonix than Believix.

I'm still confused about what transformation is called what but the harmonix doll looks okay, pretty simplistic though. I also don't like the looks of a flower princess dress, I wonder what crazy plot that will bring in that season.

I do like the long hair dolls, I wonder if the girls will be getting super long hair in this season or if it is just a doll.

- 26 episodes
- season 6 follows season 5 in the story (seems there is not a happy end in season 5)

I think that's probably made up too. It could be infinitix, but we don't even know what Harmonix and Sirenix look like for sure yet. it's too soon to know about season 6 transformations. if season 6 really is the final season though, I wouldn't be surprised by something like infinitix. the final season of Sailor Moon gave Sailor Moon her "Eternal" powers, so I wouldn't be surprised if Winx also ends with a forever-lasting power.

I don't think anything can be said about season 6 since barely anything is known about season 5. I think 2013 would be a bit fast for season 6 too.

They made season 5 and 6 in the same time because it's like a big season in 52 episodes

anyway, that's what they said. The dubbing will begin in spring 2013 so If I count, the season will be ready for the end of 2013 or early 2014

About the images, there are creatures? (I wonder what are the names for them) But I recognize them in the trailer when they followed the Winx in underwater. =) Could that guy be a villain? If he has the ability to transform into that sea creature like in the trailer?
It looks like the Sirenix is the same as the one in the trailer. Except the wings changed?
Icy, Darcy, and Stormy Image is there as well.

I like the wings too. I think the transformation outfit for Sirenix (maybe for that image) looks good. I still have to get use to their facial looks. -_- (That's the only thing I don't like their new facial looks for 3D)

Michael had shown the Season 5 Flyer and there's a belief info of Season 5:
"Underwater, the Winx will have to face a new dreadful villain: Tritannus. He was a normal triton who mutated into a powerful monster caused by pollution. His main goal is to rule all the world!
The Believix power is not strong enough under-water, hence the Winx start a challenging quest to get the ancient Sirenix power and become Fairy-Mermaids.
Wonderful Sea Creatures will help the fairies in this "Mission Impossible": Will the Winx mange to save the Magic (Suppose to be Magix) Dimension? Will they prevent Tritannus from becoming the evil Emperor of the Infinite Ocean?"

So we learned a bit more of Tritannus. =) He is that guy in the picture. So he was transformed into a sea monster by pollution.
It seems that the Winx are away from Earth for awhile and they are back in the Magic (Magix) Dimension.

Edit: So the image we saw, they called them Wonderful Sea Creatures? I wonder if they really have a specific name.

The pictures definitely look way better in HD. I think the video may have even been remade, the faces and hair look different. I don't know how I feel about the outfits. a lot of people are saying each girl looks too similar in Harmonix, but these outfits actually look exactly the same. just with different patterns. I'm glad the Trix are back, I've been missing them lately.

I don't know how to feel about those little mermaid things. they look very space-alieny, but I guess that can work since we know more about the moon than we do about the ocean.

I absolutely LOVE the plot of season 5, as summarized on that little magazine scan thingy. I like Tritannus's origins. still confused by how Harmonix will fit in, but I guess we'll see in two or three months!

I don't know... but I have this feeling that every image we've seen so far is Harmonix. I don't remember the Sophi(e)x and Lovix being shown in trailers/previews. Plus the 3D transformation, like RenaEnchantix said, looks almost exactly like the Harmonix images we've seen. >.<

Bloom, Stella, and Flora all look like they're wearing the same outfit in that image, just with different color schemes. Harmonix also looks similar for all the girls, but there are at least some differences.

I'm starting to think that maybe when they go underwater in the trailer, think of them as harmonix fairies instead of believeix. Maybe harmonix on is sirenix in 3D? I mean they do look kinda similar and it would make sense since sirenix is the power to use their power's under water it would just make sense that way.

I think part of the problem with this 3D winx is that its so different to the other movie 3D winx. I also don't think from the trailers its done as well as it was in the movies.

Yeah the 3D winx don't really even look like the winx that much! I think they did a better job with the trix then winx.

I understand the time but if you cannot do it to the quality required stick with 2D. 2D was enjoyable and if the quality goes down it will lose fans. This could be a big problem for the future.

I doubt it will lose any fans. If anything it will gain them as it becomes more popular due to Nick picking it up and the new toys by Jakks coming out. Kids won't really care what it looks like and if it is exactly in the story line because they don't know much of the original one if they watched the Nick specials first. All they care about is pleasing their target age group.

But wanted to share the news that Okto, the kids channel that has been airing Winx in Singapore just recently replied to a viewer's letter that Winx will return in the later part of the year. However they did not specify if it's a rerun, but they usually do reruns just before they air the new season. Yeah. I'll post here if there's any indication that it season 5 will be shown soon.

The Harmonix transformations look cheap. I hope they upgrade it to make it have the quality of at least the believix transformations.
