Hi all:

Yesterday was rough. I went to get my COVID-19 booster shot and managed to fall twice. I still almost 24 hours later feel like I hit a rock. What should I do?

Just get plenty of fluids, rest and maybe take a paracetamol and if you don't feel better in 24 hours go see a doctor. The falling is very concerning

Thank for the advice. I’ll be seeing a doctor at some point so I’ll have my team try to figure it out

I have to admit the side effects of the shots are very concerning. Without saying too much more, I definitely agree that you should see your doctor very soon if the symptoms do not go away soon. I agree with Marty, definitely drink plenty of liquids. Check with your doctor to see if there is something they can give to boost your immune system too. Or it's possible you might be having an autoimmune attack. I'm not exactly a doctor, but I have a lot of experience in this field.

In response to the above:

I am autistic and sensitive to loud noise and other sensory information (such as flashing lights, police sirens, etc.). It is important to see the timeline:

1. I arrived and checked in and was escorted to my destination
2. Get checked in
3. Go down due to loud noise
4. Recover
5. Go down again due to loud noise
6. Recover
7. Get taken to a room
8. Do the paperwork
9. Get the shot
10. Check out
11. Go home

So as we can see the incident in question happened prior to the shot.

I definitely understand there are some other complications. Either way, the symptoms you are experiencing seem extra...so I hope you get it sorted out with the doctor. Feel better soon.

I have my operations team constantly monitoring me as opposed to just going it alone. The arm pain finally went away and I’m back to normal icon_smile.gif huge thanks for the concern.
