My past-time activity for the last few months has been translating Italian Winx books. I've recently completed the Winx on Ice novelization,
here.
Now I'm trying to decide which book to do next. I have six books ready to be translated, and I've decided to let the users here pick the next one. The summaries of each are below.
Blue Charm (215 pages)
Aisha discovers, by chance, a lake that holds a mysterious, strange, sleeping blue creature. Only after much research and thanks to all the fairies in the Magical Dimension, the Winx manage to solve the mystery and discover the ancient civilizations of Blue Quartz, whose magic is linked to precious stones. The King of Onyx, however, is the new threat…
The Magic Night of Musa (215 pages)
In a night dominated by dark forces, Musa and Galatea disappear from Alfea without a trace. They will face the unknown, the hidden, and the incredible. To find them, the Winx will demonstrate nerve and bravery, using all their magical resources.
The Enemy in Danger (182 pages)
The enemies of all time, the witches of Cloudtower, are in grave danger: a terrible spell has deprived them of all powers. The fragile balance of Magix is at risk of cracking: good cannot exist without evil, and the Magical Dimension is likely to be upset. A new enemy plots in secret, determined to gain power…
Eighteen Magical Years of Stella (228 pages)
Stella is about to turn eighteen. It will be a special day, unforgettable. But will the celebrations be won by the rigid etiquette of court or the fantastic magic of the Winx? A new adventure for the six fairies of Alfea, including dragons, winged horses, court intrigues and mysteries.
A Festival in Magix City (173 pages)
Walking through the streets of Magix City, Musa comes across a floating poster announcing a night of music and fun at the Deca-dance disco. The occasion is to celebrate the graduation of Specialist and Prince, Jonas Mercury. The Winx have a few days to get invited, decide how to dress, and choose a gift for the mysterious prince. The boys of Redfountain, however, have already found the right idea for Jonas: an exciting rodeo-circus with magical animals. Some, however, are plotting behind them, and will do anything to ruin the party.
Fairy Holiday (175 pages)
Summer: the holiday period, even for the magical Winx. Bloom is in Gardenia with her parents, but she misses her friends! Fortunately, the Winx Club is full of resources and not even distance can distort the course of events. Overcoming interdimensional barriers and destroying the wicked Trix, the fairies will spend their first electrifying holiday alone.
(Personally, I find the Enemy in Danger one most interesting.) I'll check back in a week or so, and if there is a tie, I'll pick the winner. If there are no votes, well, then I'll look like an idiot and translate my own choice.
PLEASE LET IT BE KNOWN that I do not speak Italian. I use Google Translate and correct it for grammar. However, I believe Google is very accurate aside from some wonky word orders. If I cannot decipher a sentence, I'll put a (?) after it and let you puzzle it out.
