Random one shot I wrote earlier, featuring Riven being a jerk and Sky being annoying (so basically, business as usual).
Story has no real point, it's just sheer stupidity.
Oh, and the title just a spoof of the movie 'The Size of Watermelons'.
The Shape of Lemons
"Do you like lemons, Riven?"
"Huh? What?" The raspberry haired specialist glanced up from the text he was reading, his acquaintance Sky had joined him on the window sill overlooking all of Magix on that bright, sunny day. The muscular blond had a steaming cup of tea in his hand and half a lemon in the other.
"Lemons, like this one. Do you like them?" Sky asked as he squeezed the sharp tasting fruit into his hot drink.
"I don't know, why are you asking?" Riven shook his head and tried to focus on reading.
Sky blew on his tea and took a sip. "Just asking, because I had to cut one in half and don't want the rest to go to waste. You know, your head kind of looks like half a lemon."
Riven made a bitter face and shot a sour glare at Sky. "Seriously, dude? I thought we got over ripping on my hair."
"Sorry, just wondering if it's where you got your inspiration from."
Riven closed his textbook and looked deadpan at Sky. "Yes, your highness. It came to me in the night in the form of a dream. Ye shall shape your hair into that of a half lemon."
Sky's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Your sarcasm never fails to entertain me, you know that?"
"And you never fail to annoy me, you antagonist." Shaking his head, Riven got up from the window and went to look for another place to study. He could normally stand this level of stupidity, but ever since slipping on soap in the shower that morning and hitting his head on the wall he wasn't in a very pleasant mood. Not that he ever was, today was just an especially rotten day.
He turned down the hall the led to his dorm, Sky was still following like a lovesick puppy with his darn tea cup and the half lemon squeezed of most of its juice. Riven stopped abruptly in the middle of the hallway and turned to face Sky, throwing his hands up in the air and almost dropping his text book.
"What is this? Tick-off-Riven Day? Like seriously, you-!"
Before Riven could say another word, Sky smirked and shoved the half lemon in his flapping mouth. Riven held it there for a minute, initially in shock. The he spit it out on the floor, coughing and scratching at his tongue.
"You jerk!" He yelled, "what if I'm allergic to that? Huh?"
"You mean you've never tried lemon before?" Sky raised an eyebrow as his friend acted like a three year old in the hallway.
"NO SKY, I've never had a lemon before. Yuck." Riven rolled his eyes at the blond specialist and kept on trying to spit the bitterness out of his mouth.
"Not one for trying new things, are you?" Sky sipped at his tea and smiled.
Riven snarled at him, then grabbed the tea cup away from the prince. He looked inside it, frowning at the hot liquid inside. It was a light brown, creamy colour. Probably sugar and milk were added, and of course the lemon. He spied a few pieces of it floating at the top.
Making a face, Riven sniffed it. Okay, it wasn't that bad. Then he took the plunge and had a taste.
It was sweet, not sour at all. The lemon only enhanced the flavor. Riven didn't want Sky to be right though, so wiping the tea off his upper lip with his arm he handed the cup back to Sky and shook his head. "There, you happy now? I had some of your crummy lemon tea, now get it out of my face before I beat you up."
Sky took it back, still with that all-knowing grin on his face. "Good, at least you tried something new. I'll see you later, happy studying." Sky waved at him over his shoulder and walked away, still sipping the tea.
Riven stood there for a moment, pondering the sweetness he had just experienced. He had to get back to studying, but he wanted more of it. One taste just wasn't enough. As much as he didn't wish to admit to Sky that he was right, he just couldn't resist it. So Riven ran down the hall to catch up to Sky, maybe the other half of that lemon was still available for him to savour.

Riven being a jerk just gets more hilarious the more times you're exposed to it, amirite?

Dude it also looks like Tecna's helmet in her Winx form O: Maybe that's how he styles it, filling the helmet full of gel and mashing it on his head for a few hours...

hey Riven's head actually looks kinda lemon-ish! >< :) love this!
