Unicron Vs Watermark, Choose Options

Seeing as how everyone and their mother whine when they have to cringe through 12 seconds of Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi and Unicron for every three parts of every episode, should I just can it and add a watermark?

Hmm, is either really necessary? Random suggestions: Maybe you could put the Unicron thing at the end? Or maybe speed it up/shorten it in length?

Oh, another thing, I'm going to save and render the episode in 3 parts so it'll only be on youtube. Seeing as ~11mins = ~400mb, . . . . . I upload at 70kb/s... Do the math, almost 1.5 hours of uploading PER PART, assuming I don't use the internet and upload steady at 70kbs. .yeah

What does discreet mean? I'd go with a 5 second unicorn at the beginning and a 5 second unicorn at the end.
(BTW spell check changed it to unicorn LOL)

I'd go with a watermark. This way, thieves can't steal it as easily, whereas with the intro, they could just cut the intro out.

I guess I'll be the lame one to admit that I first read this as "Unicorn vs..." and I didn't even care what the second option was, unicorns win. But then I actually read it.

I agree, I'd say watermarking. But I don't see why people flip their lids about a short intro with a robot, anyway. People get so impatient...

add a watermark as unicron can easily be removed if downloaded and reuploaded. Though a word of warning watch where you put it as you don't want it getting in the way of subs, attacks, action etc

Security through obscurity means that you are explaining and leaking out the security measures that you have taken place (something like that).
For example, if you run a bank, would you tell that you have 3 security guards, 8 security cameras and that 3 keys is all that is required to open the safe? Of course you won't. If you tell them out, a group of robbers will take your given information and use against you. However, if you did, then it's security through obscurity.

In this case, you are explaining that you are using a watermark.
A small text isn't really good. A much better method is to put an image on the bottom-left. (this is how magicofwinx protect its videos)
That way, cropping the video isn't very feasible as it will cut off the subtitles.
