Okay, most of you probably know I recently tried making graphics. I've made three as of right now, the first of which worked normally when I tried uploading it to photobucket. But both the second and third wouldnt work, when I'd browse to the folder that they're in, they wouldnt show up. Anyone know why? Does it have anything to do with size? Cause those two are much bigger than the first. I tried the browse button that lets you attach a pic to a new topic/post, and they're showing up there. Would it help to figure out the solution if I uploaded them here?

Aha! I know your problem! (I think!)
You made the pictures using GIMP, right? Well then, they would have been saved in some weird format that only GIMP uses. You have to convert them to a .png or .jpg file, or something similar. Try copying the pictures into Paint, or something, and saving them in an internet-friendly format.
*Crosses fingers.* Hope this works. ^^

Don't know, but I've had this problem with GIMP before, so I think you're going through the same thing.

I totally totally know the problem there!

It's the layers. You have to merge them to make the dotted line disappear. And that you do like that:

In the menu above the graphic, it says "New" "Edit" "Selection" and all that. Click "Layers" and select "Merge down".

{See, I totally remember how to handle Gimp!}

You have to make sure the active layer is the text one when you merge it.

when you save a graphic on gimp you have to use " .jpg, .png, .gif "
and make sure the folder is "pictures". sometimes it doesn't save in other folders.
hope that helps.

You can pick a format in the "Save as" popup, there is a dropdown near the bottom where you can pick a format to save in. Or you could type in the name you want to save it in and add .jpg .png or .gif behind it, that way it does save in that format.
