i like basicly everything pop , r&b , rock , a lil country to =]]
Electronica and alternative
Rock and Alternative, definately. *Makes the heavy metal sign*
I listen to R&B and pop.
I seem to like a variety of rock, with some pop and techno. There's one or two country songs I like.
i listen to pretty much everything that is except opera that puts me to sleep.
I rather like opera. I've even got a few good pieces on my Pod.
I have tried to listen to it many of times but i cant listen to it for more than 5 minutes other wise i fall asleep... its not as bad as my science teacher last year.
I've got some cool cello pieces by Yo-Yo Ma. u__u
oh really cool another morning
Well i listened to Phantom of the Opera, well their song was quite nice, too ^-^
I have this wonderfull peace called 'Pepertuum Mobile' (Or whatever it's called.), and it cheers me up everytime I listen to it.
Alternative rock and some techno/dance songs.
I've come to realise that I adore yet another music genre.
Altough I don't know it's name, it's typically Dutch, most of the time sung by an elderly man, and about typical Dutch things, and the tone is semi-sad, but with a hint of positivity.
For example, there's this Dutch commercial for enviroment-friendly electricity, and it show's Holland's old and new Struggles with the sea (Old: The 'Watersnoodramp', when a big part of a region called 'Zeeland' was flooded. New: The rain, hail and other enviromental changes, highlighting the news of a pack of horses being stranded for days because of this.), and it's all set to this marvelous song about just that: Holland's love/hate relation with the sea. The lyrics are something like this:
We vechten, en omhelzen (We fight, and embrace)
Je Vijand is je Vriend (Your enemy is your friend.)
Hij kan so lief, onschuldig zijn (He can be sweet and Innocent.)
Maar soms zo nietsontziend (But sometimes malovelent.)
Another awesome one comes from YET another commercial, this one for cheese, and the song is about our capitol, Amsterdam.
Je kan er langs de grachten lopen (You can walk besides the canals.)
Zou je eigenlijk wel eens moeten doen. (You should do it sometimes.)
----
Je bent er vogelvrij (You're as free as a bird.)
Omdat er alles kan (Because everything is possible)
In ieder mensenhart (In the heart of every human)
Daar vind je Amsterdam (There'll you find Amsterdam)
...... Geez, I choke up just remembering these songs, so bittersweet, so tearjerkingly beautiful.
Im listening to rock, gothic metal,Symphonic Metal, Power Metal, Punk, Indie
I listen to music from games mostly. I also get tracks from cartoons and TV shows I like.
I ended up singing Danger Mouse with a friend while we were playing Forza 2...
i listen to hip hop (which basically includes techno), Bollywood music, and Winx music
Hmmm, I'm a little picky, but maybe it's just that I exclude some types of music (like rap and death metal). But I like most of the stuff in between--just not the extreme stuff. I love techno music, especially ones with catchy thumping beats. I also love most rock songs (as long as the lyrics aren't cliche and ridiculous). I love game and movie soundtracks. And finally, I really love New Age music (harps and instrumentals with a mix of techno beats).
I can definitely dig the Bollywood music too ^^. Indian music videos are awesome, and very very catchy. I wish I knew which movies were best, I'd like to rent or download some.
lol Im kinda surprised u know about Blooywood music, glad u like it ^_^
I know alot about Bollywood movies, if u tell me which genres u like best, I could easily tell u which ones are good (most probably)
And I also know its easy to download them, my cousin does it often
Okay, I'm sure these aren't too hard to find (since I know most Indian movies have this theme) but I love movies that have a love story. They can still also have action and drama, but I always stay away from those that have sad endings, lol. I grew up too much on happy Disney movies, haha. The most recent I saw was, I think, Ohm Shanti Ohm? I didn't see all of it but it was cute =).
I've also watched a few Indian soap operas. Whoa, and I thought American soap operas were dramatic. The Indian ones take it to the next level.
Lol close your eyes and pick a random one to get a love story. I honestly cannot think off the top of my head of an Indian movie that does not have atleast one of the min-plots love-related. But the way they display it is the cool part. I personally like ones that have a whole bunch of action and fighting and great music. Om Shanti Om was pretty cool, but u have to know Hindi to understand many of the jokes. One of my personal faves is Dhoom 2 (u do not need to see the first to understand it). Its about well I wont say too much to spoil it, but it is about a serial robber who strikes all around the world and is really creative in terms of finding ways to steal valuables. The other main characters are a police officer, his assistant, and a girl (who I wont tell u much about cos it might spoil it) but creates the love aspect in it.
In the process of downloading it, thanks for the tip =). Yar, I figured it's actually harder to find a Hindi movie that doesn't have a love story =P, but then I have to worry about finding the good ones among the possible not so good ones. Lol, can't wait for the parts where they break out into song and dance--another reason I loved Disney movies. If you think of any others I'm always up to try a new movie, especially free ones =).
Wait, so ur downloading Dhoom 2 right now? If u are, tell me how u liked it when u r done watching it and based on that I'll recomend some more ^_^
Okay, I finally found some time recently to watch Dhoom 2. While I still liked Om Shanti Om better, I still liked the characters in this movie. It was really entertaining =). I thought the part where the two "theives" were talking about partnership was pretty smart too (since throughout history theives usually double-cross each other). The only parts I was not satisfied with were the dance numbers, only because I love the more traditional Indian style songs more. Though, touches of Western and European influences mixed with Indian songs can be really nice too. Overall, cute movie though. And of course, the obligatory love story was nice. =)
It was weird, in some lightings I could see how the main girl (Sonehri I think?) resembled Layla a little. Especially in the hair, but also the face sometimes. I can see how some people might think Layla has Indian mixed in her. Sorry, I just went off on a tangent, lol.
I thought she reminded me a bit of Layla too! It's her kick-butt personality I guess, not to mention a similarity in looks. I liked this movie alot because of the songs, tho, so i guess we differ in opinion in that matter. What was ur favorite part? I liked right after the 2 thieves met and the guy found out that the other one was a girl.
I posted like, forever ago, but I thing my most favorite genre for rock is rock opera or epic rock. Anything that's really loud and powerful, I don't tend to like slower or quieter songs as much.
I also love cool video game, show, or movie soundtracks. I listen to the Advent Children and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night songs a lot.
I liked the basketball game "fight", and the scene where they discussed trust and how she would need to jump to prove it, but I didn't really have a particular scene I liked above the rest. However, I loved seeing the thief change his appearance so many times. For some reason, I thought the priest disguise was awesome--it was probably the goatee, lol.
Oh, I agree on the video game music and movie soundtracks AM =)
Yeah, they must have worked on the disguises, those were awesome. I liked the basketball game too. And during the last robbery, when they were dressed as dwarfs, and they showed them (well atleast one of them) with the maracaas, that part was freaky to me, even tho i dont think it was meant to be.
Dwarf disguise XD
I like Classical, Traditional, Opera, some Alternative and some Pop
I like everything that my friends don't...And that's prog rock,nu metal, pop punk. And I'm a fan of Kelly Clarkson(my friends don't even know who she is).

My fave is country.
I like pop, any kind of pop. But my favourites would be country pop (example Taylor Swift) or classic pop(Example Hilary Duff 2005)
Wow, um...I have tons.
