5x05 (or 04): The Sirenix Book, or Tecna the Robot Options

Last week, Roxy went to Alfea, we (and the Winx) learned about Sirenix and the issues with it, and Sky got amnesia after a fight with the Trix. This week, remember how we used to make comments about Tecna being half-android? Looks like this episode just might play on that...

I liked the plot of this one a lot and there were only minor things in it that I didn't like.

The only things I really disliked was some of the cheesy lines like when they got the book and Bloom said with an odd tone "We have now found the Sirenix book..." (stating the obvious much?). And I didn't like how they implied that Sky can't remember anything because he doesn't want to remember losing the pendant? Memory loss is a major thing and losing a pendant shouldn't have any affect on that so I am not really liking the direction that story line is going.

I did like how Darcy and Stormy are showing some dislike for Icy and the way she acts around Titrannus, maybe later in the season they will go against her?

The whole Tecna robot thing was cool too, I liked how they showed that the winx are weak in water, but what I don't get is that in previous seasons they seemed to be okay in water (like season 3).

i like this one and now trixs and the evil mermaid are after bloom sister? and the next one, the winx must compete with other faries to open the book and i think bloom and winx will kick any other faries from different relams

I thought Crystal/Krystal (not sure which is the right spelling) can heal Sky. =S But the key to it is his pendant. Really? -_- At first, I thought Sky was refusing to bring his memories back since he wants his pendant. ^^" I'm sure the Winx will find it soon. xD This got me nervous, I wonder if Sky made it back to Red Fountain? Since he doesn't remember anything? Bloom should be there to take him back to Red Fountain before helping her friends? =S

Wow...I'm surprised how Tritannus made his mother and brother as his minions. o.o

I love the scene how the Winx were trying to get Tecna back to normal. ^_^

The Trix and Tritannus wants to find Daphne? Oh no. Now I'm so curious what happens.

Hm, since the next episode is suppose to be the originally Episode 5: The Lilo. So it looks like USA Nick did the right thing. The Lilo won't flow with the next episode as it seems to be out of place. ^^" To me, it looks like some kind of Special Episode or Beyond Believix Episode or an Intro Episode?

I'm curious how does UK Nick and RAI Due (Italy) will play.

Yeah, its definitely confirmed that The Lilo is separate from the rest of season 5.

This episode was pretty good, I didn't like it as much as the past few to be honest but it was alright. I guess it was somewhat of a filler episode to lead into the next one which seems really interesting. All that Daphne could tell the villains is that they need the book, which doesn't help since they already know about it. But I guess it'll be interesting to see the encounter. And this contest to get a new power has me really intrigued, can't wait for the next episode!

I don't get why Daphne can't just tell the girls what she had to do to get the power. I understand having the book will be better for specifics, but she obviously went through some of it so couldn't she tell them?

One of those girls is her sister.
In her eyes, she'd probably tell them 'Hey sis, here's how you get cursed, just like me! Making my own sacrifice worthless!'

I think it would be interesting to see some more conflict between the Trix and while I didn't think Tritannus would turn his mother. I do think doing it to his brother was sort of an act for his own ego.

I don't understand the next episode as I am not sure what they can get out of it. As Sirenix is not really known about now as its so old and difficult to achieve.

It also looks like Brandon is Sky's best hope to get his memory back. As he knows about the pendant.

The Lilo episode still does not really fit in. As the Trix would be more interest in Daphne and the Winx the book

I'm guessing the new transformation the Winx will try to earn is Harmonix.

yeah harmonix might be a step that will make them stronger under water. I think it would be cool to see what Daphne's sirenix looks like in color.

I really didn't like this one as much as I liked the other ones. The Sky memory loss thing based around the pendant is rather ridiculous and I agree with Humbu: this really just seemed like a filler episode. Hopefully the next one is better.

I also like filler episodes, I feel like those are the ones that have the best plots with characters that show their relationships and personalities.

I really don't know? o.o I know there's no sneak peak out yet. But my TV Guide still say Winx Club at 12 this Sunday?

I'm checking with Nick's Schedule tomorrow because there is a chance they might mess up the time. I saw another TV Guide saying Winx Club is on Oct. 7th at 12:30PM. o.o (But no episode title is listed yet)

BIW says there not doing it until oct. 7th (next Sunday) but I think there giving us 2 Winx club episodes that day! ^.^! I think it's due to TMNT premiere. oh well I guess we might see harmonix next week.

I fixed it so there is only 1 post, hope you don't mind! I don't see why though because TMNT premieres today and winx is on Sundays so they wouldn't conflict at all.
