Magix Club's Forum _ Season 4 _ Duman, oh Duman

Posted by: P-girl Nov 15 2009, 2:21 PM

I open this topic in memorian of Duman, one of the best Winx villains of all time.

Sure, he was a villain, but his death really upset me, especially since there was actually build-up to it, with his illness and all. Sure, that made his death predictable, but also more harrowing because of his suffering. For the last episodes of Season 4, he was in pain, both mentally and physically, and that really made me feel sorry for him, villain or not.

*Pulls out flowers*

Duman, these are for you.

that is a easy death for him.....sigh......and the rest......

Posted by: P-girl Nov 15 2009, 2:49 PM

Easy? *Goes trough the episodes, seeing him ailing and suffering, before finally snapping and going on a rampage*

Define 'Easy'.

I'm not sure he died. He diapered. Though seeing as we don't know what was said, I am thinking he still exists somewhere.
To free Ogron and the others.
Next season

Doubt it. He was desintegrated.

Magic my friend, magic.

Posted by: P-girl Nov 15 2009, 3:33 PM

They used the same type of death animation on Valtor. Oh and magic was also what killed Nabu.

Can we go back to pay the character some respect? Everyone's upset over Nabu, yet Duman doesn't get any sympathy?

I did felt sad for him...... But I think it's a easy death for the wizards, well it's my opinion. They been through, well quite a lot of fights with the winx. But their the end are just, way to simple.

Duman's ending was simple? He spent four episodes dying in pain, eventually snapping and trying to kill everyone before Nabu finishes him off. That doesn't really suit my definition of simple, nor easy.

*Sigh* In both canon and fandom, he can't catch a break, can he?

While Duman was a good villan he was not the best, to be honest he was always likely to die his personality was the problem, too easily worked up. Though Nabu has some major power.

I still think the black circle would have shown more emotion when they heard he was dead

Did they hear? I never taught they did. And even so, they had some fairies out for their hide going after them. I think it was 'Survive first, mourn our death companions later' type of situation.

They must have done the specialists clears told them

Then I stand by my second statement. Except for Ogron. He seems like the Sociopathic kind of person who couldn't care less.

well i saw the epsioad it was not bad but to tell the truth i was sad for lalya but i was a bit angry icon_mad.gif cause she went with the other faires leaving winx girls

Hey, it was an understandable decision. If it would happen to me, I'd be pretty pissed off too.

Duman, you were a good villain. So were the other Wizards, but Duman was my second favourite, after Ogron. Duman might have gone first, but his mohawk...kind of scary.

His death was kind of EXTREME
