I acually beleive wikipedia on this one cuz first of all tv.com has a 4th season space for winx club, iginio straffi in a interview said he was thinking about making another season, and the episodes are understandable to happen in the show.

I really don't believe them because they had everything pretty much wrong for season three, and they have so much other stuff wrong for other things. Plus they probably haven't even made the series, let alone name the episodes with all of the movie hype, having all the merchandise and the movie coming out in italy just last week, and it coming out in Netherlands in February.

It could be, cause I read on a news page said that the winx creator will create another 2 movie and a tv series. It's unconfirmed yet but I'm sure that it's either a movie, or another season.

also this would not happen as one says bye winx then latter on winx become more powerful than ever, also they can not kill stella off then bring her back as That would make me miserable (ok they can but she kind of helps Bloom the most and is most considerate to her and I think she is the linch pin and without her the group could become a little disfunctional and Bloom isolated). Also never heard of Torrenuvola what is it.

I really don't think there will be another season. I mean look at how on 4kids when the last episodes were airing it was "Series Finale" so I don't think that 4kids intends on dubbing anymore episodes, now that doesn't necessarily mean that there won't me more seasons, but seeing as 4kids has licensed winx club in the USA, if there were going to be more seasons I think that 4kids would be the ones dubbing it and seeing as they aren't going to, I don't think there will be more seasons.

I admit I read the whole summary what's-their-face posted on the 4kids forums. And yeah, by the way the movie ended, or at least how the summary did, it seems like they're definitely leading into another movie or something. And as for the dubbing thing, well, if 4kids refuses, then let us hope for a direct-to-DVD.

i agree i think they are just going to make more movie. but a 4 season isn't going to happen. on michaels' winx club there was news that somebody posted a list of episode of the 4th season in wikipedia. one of them said the death of stella. and the goodbye to winx club. well that what Meg said what it say. its in italian. but another one said the weakness of icy darcy and stormy.
but i don't think that is true information.

no. because the pixie show is something else. but i guess that why people think there going to be a 4th season. they got confused with the pixie show and think that was the 4th season.

yeah a show from the guys point of view would be great! I'm still not sure if we are going to go to Toronto or not but I hope we do. I really want to know when its coming out, I don't see why they can't just decide, movies have to be set for release a long time before they come out or so and the Netherlands already knows when it is coming out, so why can't they come up with one for North America?

Its probably going to be like the the episode "Little Big Shots" where the winx girls are there, but aren't the main story plot. I wonder if in the movie, when they all go home, do the pixies go with them? You would think the pics of bloom would show her with lockette, but its her kiko and the pixie cat... yeah i wish they would hurry up too. I'm going to the movies again tonight to see alvin and the chipmunks again, I highly doubt there will be anything new but maybe.

I personally think that tons of toys is wayyy overpriced on all their stuff, but I guess they have to be to make good money on all the stuff. I wish would have a singing mall tour like that in the USA! They had mall tours with winx girls but not singing and some give aways, I was only able to go to two and those were like, 2 years ago! I really really wish they would have another one soon!

I agree. I think Tons of Toys is much too overpriced. Even more so then those crazy users on ebay... (well....some of them). But not as overpriced as some of the dolls on Amazon o_O $200 some for one $10 doll?!? You're kidding!

That's awesome that you bought those two dolls though, that's a lot of money, but I applaud you for saving up. I have a hard time saving money. I spend it on lunch and gum and stuff lol.

But that would do one of two things:

I'm actually not excited about the pixies show. It would be nice if it were come to the US, and it would supply 4kids with another much needed girl-targeted show, but I probably wouldn't watch it.... I'm more excited about the winx movie, (and maybe even its sequel)

That would be the reason I'd have if I ever did watch it. I'm curious to see if they'll be in it... I could always see screenshots (if there are any when it comes out), to see if they are or not, that'd be quicker then watching it.

Off topic but... I agree Abby, I think 'Hannah Montana' is so fake, I can't see how it can possibly be that popular. No offense to any Hannah Montana fans... Sorry if that sounded harsh. One thing though, anything targeted for the tween group usually takes off.

It's a shame that there will be no season 4, although, it seems like every season, 4kids' edits got worse and worse, so I don't know if I'd be able to even handle another season lol.

Yeah I know. I mean I wish there was more stuff for just the winx girls. but true 4kids seemed to edit it worse and worse every season. I mean look at how much season three was cut up compared to the italian ones, I think some cool things were left out (like how they use their healing powers, the enchantix transformations) it just was really bad.

thats not really a spoiler video, its just a commercial for the pixie merchandise. Rainbow has come out with a new line the past year of pixie items, probably trying to buff up pixies for the pixie show (thats what I think) they have clothes, shoes, accessories, even a magazine just for the pixies!

My guess is they have been focussing a little more on the pixies to bring in younger viewers. I agree Abby: I also think that they're trying to 'buff' up for the pixies show. I think they're trying to bring more attention to the pixies so that the pixie series will be a success (although, it seems to be more for a younger age group, like, pretty little, so I don't know how much the pixie website and such will help).

yeah, the pixie line seems to be more towards smaller girls, since the pixies are smaller and don't have the same issues teenage girls do, so its more "appropriate" for little girls than the actual show winx club

Exactly. With them being in the winx club series, I'm guessing they were hoping to get a younger audience to view the show, maybe they saw it was successful, and decided to do a pixie series because of it. And now I guess the older viewers will just have to take watching a little kids show. lol

I think my little sister will want to watch it. As for me: After half way through season 2 of winx though, (more so at the beginning of season 3), I figured that the 4kids version of winx club wasn't worth my time (it also wasn't worth waking up early). So about the pixie show: I don't really care how early it is, it's not really going to effect me. It might effect my sister if she wants to wake up early to see it, I don't believe it will be worth it though.

I know it seems like I'm trashing the show already, but personally, 2 minutes of the pixies, at most, is all I can take. No offense to any pixie fans...

Well Iginio would have to sell off his rights to winx club logo's, characters, and everything. I don't think he would do that because of him creating the movie and how this was a big project for him. So I don't think there will be anymore seasons of winx club because no one else could produce it without the rights, if they did it would be illegal and it wouldn't be allowed to be shown on TV.

pixies show: pro'ly not gonna watch, 'cause I never really liked the pixies except for maybe Zing and Digit. The other ones just kinda..annoy me.

2nd movie: depends if the english dub o' the first was good or not.

Well, I've been to a site which I don't know if it's true (Since I use a translator to translate the italian site)
He said that he planned to create 3 winx films. But for me it's impossible, cause 3 stages took a very long time to do it, somemore it's 3D.
But 0.01% chances of 2nd movie might be out, since the ending are the witches talking craps

ok now im really starting to suspect theres going to be a season 4, look i found this article and i perfectly matches the continuation of the movie:

I found this article in the italian version of wikipedia it sort of makes sense but im not fully believing it unless they acually make an anouncement saying that there will be a season 4

I am positive there won't be a fourth season. Rainbow has announced that the movies are the last winx things, and thats from wikipedia, I wouldn't trust it at all. Well in this case, the second movie might be better, because (I'm assuming this) I'm pretty sure bloom will find her parents and be happy at the end of the first movie (cause she always gets what she wants) so what more is there to be based on bloom? The second movie might be more based on the other characters than her, but most likely not since everything in winx club has been based on bloom.

It sounds like it would be more for the pixie series they are creating than a winx club series, but I don't think its true since the movie is still going on and I highly doubt that they have story plots set out for the pixie series already.

Maybe it's the story writer for winx club that I should be complaining about.

Season 3 seriously lacked every good quality that season 1 had. It was too rushed and the story line wasn't interesting.
I have a feeling, if they had to get in another season before the movie, season 4 would be just as rushed if not more.

Speaking of story writers, one thing I wonder about the pixies show is: what is the story line? Or is it just a show with the pixies without a definite plot...

I don't know what will the storyboarding will be like, but I hope it would focus the pixies if they do the pixie show, I seriously love the pixies!

And yes, Season3 storyline was not interesting, I only love their enchantix and how clever Bloom and the rest left Sky alone in Earklyon, and poor Diaspro got exiled. But the only thing I seriously don't like is that they kept focusing on Bloom! I was like arrhx, forget it. It's not the first time any way.

I also, personally, didn't like the season 3 finale. Even if the season was rushed, they could have at least taken a little time to think of a good ending for it, I mean, it was the series finale, they should have put a lot of thought into it. I really liked the finale to season 1. A great end to an equally great season. The whole group was there, nobody was left out, they were all having fun and talking about graduation, etc. Great finale. It looks as if the writers actually took some time to come up with that one. Season two was almost as good. The whole group was in the finale again, and having fun again, and if it weren't for the Bloom and Sky running into the picture thing, the picture scene was great in my opinion.

Season 3? Not so much. Not only were some of the group members missing from the finale scene, it mostly just centered around Bloom. I know the series is practically about her, but they don't need to give her the last scene of the last season at the end of the series. It should have been, in my opinion, a scene with the whole club. That means all of the girls and all of the guys. Not just most of the girls and a couple guys....

Pixies series sounds like a bad idea, IMHO. If they did more, I think they should tie off all of the loose ends from season 3 that I doubt the movie's going to tie off...XD I'm talking about going more indepth and having an episode from each of the fairies perespectives, like an arch, for example, there's one all about Tecna and her home planet, her family and her relationship with Timmy. Then for example, there's a problem and she calls in the others, there's Winx Club love and the episode ends with the opening for the next fairy, etc. Something like that.

Now, if they did another movie, I'd like to see them combine their powers completely and super enchantix winx converge or something!! XD I dunno, I really love how they incorporate their powers into everything or break it up into back stories of each of the fairies like the above. I just don't think there's enough potential or plot line behind the pixies that's strong like the fairies is. XD unless...they had the Pixies transforming too!! XD LOL!! The "Pinx" club! XDD See how it just wouldn't work? XD I like them and all, but my favorite parts of them were interacting with the fairies. Alone...they can't cut it. :/

I can't see how they're going to successfully make a whole series just on the pixies. I don't think there's enough to work with there, they aren't very interesting honestly. Plus, watching 30 minutes of them and their annoyingly high pitched voices might be enough to make any older winx fan want to go back to bed or cover their ears. It most likely is just for little kids. I just don't see how they're going to make the pixies series interesting for viewers at all, no offense to pixie fans of course....

I really wanted to see more of Tecna and Timmy in the series but that's just me. I also wanted to see more of Musa and Riven's relationship also... Not only that, but I also wish they would have gone into the character's backgrounds more (like, do they have brothers and sisters, how close are they with their family, what do their realms look like, etc.) I think they should have spent a little time on the boys backgrounds too, like I said before, we don't know much background information on them. The more information you have about a character, the more likable, in a sense, they are... (in my opinion).

From what I have heard, the Pixie series won't be very long. not too many episodes and only 15 minutes each. I'm not sure how that's going to work, maybe they'll do it like they do cartoons here in America and do two stories in one half hour.

also, I wouldn't get my hopes up about a not-bloom excentric second movie.

She still has her wedding to plan! I would bet that the Trix want revenge on Bloom, so they're going to try to ruin her wedding. I'd want it to be the return of Diaspro though, but we allready know the Trix will be in the second film. Anyways, it would probably be Bloom upset that her weddings being ruined and the other girls helping her through it.

Now, I don't care that the series is Bloom-centric. She's the main character, it's supposed to be mostly about her with some other character drama here and there, which I think the series had. Such as Layla's arranged marriage, Tecna disapearing, Stella's father being taken from her, Flora's crush on Helia in season 2. However, since just about everybody else hates that the series focuses on Bloom, I just wanted to warn you that you'll probably never see a movie about the Winx Club instead of Bloom and her friends.

Honestly, I like Bloom she's a good character to have the series center on because a lot of people can relate to her. I know that because it's based in Bloom's pov, we're never going to see more...I'm only saying that if they're going to...why use the pixies, when they've got such stronger characters in the story line? and Yeah, I know that realistically you're right about the next movie, I'm just throwing out ideas to keep it interesting.

Well, I think that the other movie being mainly focussed on Bloom is only to be expected. I just wish they would dwell on the other characters some more... in my opinion, we know more then enough about Bloom and her background and her future and her problems and such, why not go into more detail on the others? Again, that will probably never happen either... *sigh*

I mean no offense to Bloom fans with any of my posts, sorry if I come off as being mean or anything. My little sister is a huge Bloom fan, so I consider things like that before I go rambling on with my opinions lol. xD

Nah, no worries Boo, I love Bloom too but I definitely think her friends are just as strong characters as she is. I'd love it if they'd do a spin off with the others here and there...even though the chances of that happening are way slim. You'd think that the chances of the other Winx girls having their own thing would be higher than the Pixies, right? XD I just think that the Pixies charm would be gone after about 15 min into the show...Stella, Tecna, Layla, Flora, Musa...the specialists...They'd just get farther going with them than the Pixies don't you think?

I know, I know, Winx Club = Bloom and that's the way it is and that's all right, but I just don't get the Pixies concept for their own show...

But, though Winx Club=Bloom, Winx Club≠Magical Bloom.
And therefore, since the series was entitled 'Winx Club' instead of 'Magical Bloom' (nel mio cuore tu vivrai...xD), there should be more backstory to EVERYONE! Not just Bloom!

I know Flora's got a little sister but I wonder if Tecna's got siblings too? Or even some of the guys? It's sorta sad we don't know. BTW- Haven't we seen everyone's realm but Tecna's?, I know we didn't see much of Musa's either though, but we've got the gist of it from the flashbacks...

Yeah, Tecna's realm is the only one we didn't see, 'cause we've seen Domino [Sparx], and Earth--a lot (Bloom), we've seen Solaria a lot (Stella), Flora's we saw in Season 3, Musa's...flashbacks. Layla's we've seen a couple times...

I totally agree. After I found out about how they get their enchantix in season 3, I was so excited to see Tecna's realm. I wouldn't say the way she got her enchantix was a disappointment, but I was upset that we didn't get to see her realm...

I have a thought that is would be like a futuristic city...

We haven't seen much of Musa's realm either... mainly just rooms and concerts and stuff from her flashbacks...

I wonder where Riven's realm of origin is....

Than the pasts of those things with the high-pictched voices that made everyone in my house [except my little sister Ava] scream every Saturday since September 10, 2005. And I'm serious. My brothers Riley and Adam did actually scream and run around the house complaining their ears were bleeding.
Annoying part is, they'd only stop when I pointed out that their favorite character was on the screen. Riley's is Brandon [why?] and Adam's is Riven.
Sadly, it fits their personalities.

Yeah, my stepbrothers used to have, like, panic attacks whenever the pixie's voices came up. They'd run around, screaming, "My...ears...THEY BLEED!" and stuff like that. Riley actually likes Winx, Adam just watches it to react to the pixies {plus he thinks Kiko's cute *look a secret!*}
I'm being forced by several sources to mention somewhere on here that the only reason I ended up watching 'The Red Tower' was to see my Rivy...True story on all previously stated.

I agree totally on the pixie show note.
I've never liked the pixies mainly because of their high-pitched voices. Plus, I don't think they're all that cute... they look like baby Bratz dolls in my opinion....
I honestly think that they took away from the winx club series. I disliked how they were partly the main focus in some episodes. I don't know why the pixie scenes bother me so much, I just really don't like the pixies so I can't enjoy them.
Although, I understand the reasoning behind bringing them into the series... They probably wanted more younger viewers to enjoy the show, so, they bring in little baby-like characters....

yeah true. I didn't really like them entering the show either. I didn't like in season 2 all the new characters, it was hard for me to keep tract of who was who at the beginning. I don't like the pixies much because of their voices, they change all the time! Like lockettes changed a lot almost every episode if you ask me. Or at least a few times over season 2 and three, it got more high pitched in season three and tunes voice was more high pitched in the second season I think

Ditto. That kind of bothers me since I believe that the pixies were created to draw in a younger viewing audience. Honestly, little kids that like the pixies shouldn't be seeing that kind of outfit on one of them... but it doesn't bother me all that much. Compared to Bratz dolls, the pixies are nothing.

On that note: I do think though, even though I really like Winx Club, that their appearance is a bad influence. It's the weight thing... they look very unnatural. Although, I also think that animation isn't supposed to be a truly realistic and proportionate thing. My opinion seems to float in the zone where, 'yeah, it's not good for kids to see that and want to be like that but it's not nearly as bad as other things. Plus, it's not supposed to be real.' It's a cartoon set in a magical dimension. Plus, most fairies kids see in fairy tales and such do seem to be skinny.

Yeah, I saw the first episode, I was like, '...skinny!' But yeah, female characters in TV shows in general are for some reason always thin. From a couple episodes, don't remember which version, I've gathered that Stella is a little like Usagi {Sailor Moon}--they like to eat. But neither gain any weight, really.
Does it look like their thighs kinda bend backward to you? It does to me.

I don't really think that winx sends out that image too much. Like I said, it's a show about fairies, they're not supposed to be normal in a sense. Although, don't get me wrong, I do think that, for a kids' show, it isn't all that great to make the girl characters extremely skinny. It is a cartoon though, and it's not like kids don't see that in real life. Look at the majority of the popular women celebrities you see on TV and you'll catch what I mean...

At least there was that thing about the models getting banned from that show in Madrid for being basically skeletons.
I think it's more of the actors on children's shows that influence kids. Most kids probably get that Winx and other cartoons are precisely that--cartoons. But when we have all this junk going around about Jamie Lynn Spears and other people, that's really what affects kids.
Heck, I even called Jamie Lynn the normal one in the family.

I was really hoping to see Tecna's realm and to get to know a little of her and Flora's history since they aren't explained well at all. They could have used that dang Pixie vs. the Trix episode instead to develop Tecna's history a bit. Argh.

I totally agree.
Even though I was thrilled with the whole Omega plot and her having a big part in season 3, I was a tad disappointed that we didn't get to see her realm, (since to get enchantix you have to save somebody from your realm at a price....etc.etc.)
I really think the episode(s) based on the pixies as main characters were just a waste really. But I'm almost 16, and I realize the little viewers probably ate it up.

BUT it will be about the pixies entitled "Pixie". This will be a 52 episode season 13 minutes each. The series will be released in 2009.

Of course. Once you make enough money off of something, you're gonna keep stretching it out for as loooooooong as possible.
Take Avatar for instance. They're making a liveaction movie. The new episodes are taking so long, fans have started a petition to send TEABAGS to the studio.
Thus saying, franchise something, and get lotsa money however you can, even if it means killing the show.

Heh, I think you'd more stuffed by coming here to the UK, we don't get Winx anymore, 4Kids saw to that one... though at least the 'Mondo Home Ent' DVDs work on our players here!

Anywayz, just like with the Justice League Unlimited and a few other series, there was a lot that was left unanswered/resolved in Winx, so another series could be used to give a real ending! Or stretch the show for another 2 series, for monetary purposes of course!

Now it's official rainbow buy a season 4 license in 26 episode but i don't understand why they cut the season in italy in 2 parts of 13 episodes. Perhaps 13 episodes on "les 3 sorcière ancestrales" (sorry i don't know how to say it in english) and 13 episodes on the Trix.

I forgot to say that the first part will broacast in march 2009 and the second part in september 2009. It's the truth because i see this on licence italia site and for me it's strange.

Here's my theory on this whole mess. Igninio Straffi wants to make money. The movie was a huge success, made tons of money for his big fat pocketbook. In order to keep making money, will making one or two more movies make as much as he wants? I kind of doubt it, but then I'm not Straffi so I don't know for sure. It's quoted everywhere how huge of a success the movie was, that it makes sense that if he wants to continue making money he should continue the story and try to "milk" it for more profit. Hence, drag the viewers along for another season--a more importantly come out with a crap load more merchandise to go along with it. It is almost always the merchandise that makes the big bucks.

However, if he is a sensible writer/producer, he has possibly already decided to end the series with the movies as he doesn't want to drag it on an on an on and kill the storyline in the process (i.e. pokemon, and other animes that don't know when to just stop making additional seasons). I would like one more season just to finish off their final year (as the movie I think mainly takes place in December?). But, perhaps he decided one more season isn't necessary and that he considers the series to be wrapped up in the movies. I respect his decision, but I'm still sad if this is his choice.

And I'd have to agree with winxclub-joy. A 3-D season might be too expensive OR it would be such terrible quality 3-D it wouldn't be worth watching. And I've seen some pretty lame 3-D shows lately.

He's a very good writer, he can create great storylines. But the only problem is he don't know how to build out the scenes, so that's why they show is dragged. Or unless he wanted to be like sailor moon, or pokemon

Sailor Moon really only dragged on in its anime adaptation. Its manga version was very fast-paced and didn't do the whole Monster of the Week thing too much.

And maybe the reason it's doing so well is also the fact Europe has its own Magic Girl franchise after being the complete slave to Go Nagai's Dynamic Productions for over half a century.

Grendizer, Cutie Honey, Kotetsu Jeeg, and Devilman have all very popular, even to this day, in Europe.

Its not that he is a bad writer, it is just that there is only so much you can do with a certain amount of characters. I mean they have already gone through their boyfriend troubles and gotten 2 power advances, and how many more fight scenes can there possibly be? Plus pixies were added, more extra people at other schools, so I don't see there is much more to the series, especially after the conclusion of the movie, which is what all 3 seasons was leading up to.

I could totally whip up a new season! I would incorporate a whole new plot around the Circle of Light (I think the group that Miss F and Miss G were a part of?). The girls would need to achieve the status of Guardians or some such other title and make a new Circle of Light--there's their last transformation and/or gain of power. The Trix and Coven would need to be dealt with and properly disposed of once and for all. And lastly...we'd get to see Tecna's home realm finally! =P

I have read yesterday a italian rumor on a forum on a new fairy for season 4. She will be in 1 year, she will help the winx in the battle against the Trix and she is from Earth (it's strange for me). She is part of the new winx generation because the winx are gardians fairy now.
But, a italian boy said that her personnage is stronger than Bloom (perhaps she lived on Domino as Bloom and her parents save her). She and others news personnages will apear in the show Winx on ice.

I don't know if it's the truth or a fan rumor. But it would be cool that Bloom hasn't be the only fairy on Earth and if will have a new Winx Club.

Well, despite that she isn't fully to blame for what happened in season one and three, she still is greedy, stuck-up and not afraid to use under-handed tactics. (Sorry, Diaspro fans.), but like most types of fangirls, people tend to gloss those things over and turn her into this poor, misunderstood little princess who deserved Sky more then Bloom. *Sigh* Shades of grey are nice, people, shades of grey are your FRIEND. Just because you like a character doesn't mean you have to gloss over every single negative attribute they have. Being from someone who has a knack for liking villains and other non-likeable characters (Percy and Snape from Harry Potter, Kefka from FF6, Bleylock and Harris from Galactik football, Finn from Advance Wars, and of course every type of Starscream there ever was.), I kinda know what I'm talking about.

Sorry, glossing over facts and turning characters into something they're not (Be it more positive or more negative) is a pet peeve of mine.

I like to make fan fictions about Diaspro maybe being a bit nicer though. I mean she is a fairy who will most likely eventually become a real fairy.

No thats ok you didn't sound rude at all. I was just saying that sometimes I do like to make her not seem all that bad. I wrote a story once about her and she was really rude in most of it but in other parts not. I don't think I have the story any more though
