Crazy Winx Club Theories, Theories on origin stories or functionality of the Winx universe Options

Yeah, I've got one regarding how the cultures of the Magix realms seem to relate so closely to those of Earth. Because doesn't everyone want to understand why Riven is wearing a Union Jack flag?

(This is probably a rehash of everyone's theories all put together, but here we go.)

This all started because I was trying to rationalize why Musa's home planet of Melody had so many Chinese similarities. (Other than the fact that it is a fictitious story written by Straffi.) Looking at pictures, you can see that the architecture and appearance of her planet and its people have heavy ties to Chinese culture. Therefore I classify Musa to at the very least resemble Chinese heritage. But how could the similarities have happened?

My theory is that hundreds or maybe thousands of years ago humans from Earth (when they once had magic) were able to cross dimensions into other worlds. (Basically Season 4 Winx.) At this time, those who wished to travel could leave Earth to start new colonies elsewhere in the universe. Thus, leading to the existence of other planets that have similar aspects to those of cultures on Earth. And it explains how humans are found on other worlds-- we were once travelers. Basically the tried and true star gate theory we've seen in countless movies.

Maaaaany years later, those left on Earth lost their magical senses in exchange for science and machinery. And that's why Earth no longer has magic.

For example: Riven wears the Union Jack flag (Great Britain). He's not British. Probably never heard of Britain. But maybe one of his ancestors did come from Britain and carried over the flag as part of the new colony a few hundred years ago. Years go by, people forget what it means, but they still wear it for nostalgia.

And after that long winded debrief, Musa could then be shown to in theory share real Chinese heritage to those on Earth.

It certainly makes sense and Magix I got the impression was a mix of cultures. Which makes sence given 3 of the most famous schools are in the area.

After the last seasons Icy episode, I do wonder if Icy, Darcy and Stormy ended up on Sparx/Dolman by accident and the ancient witches choose them on potential and there is no connection between them other than that

Yeah, that's how I feel too. So many different cultures purposely mixed into the show, I can't help but think they all originated from one planet.

Ahh, as to the Trix, are you referring to the Sisterhood issue? I do wonder how they all met at first... Because I don't think they're real sisters, just part of the same witch coven. So maybe they were handpicked by the ancestral witches due to their nastiness or potential. Definitely makes sense to me. (Icy's backstory in season 8 still doesn't fly with me... I just can't rationalize everything horrible she's done, all for the love of her sister? Lots of inconsistencies in that writing.)

Got another not-so-fun theory. This one regarding Nabu and why the writers killed him off.

My theory is that because Nabu was a boy and had magical powers, the writers didn't want him competing with the main characters, the six Winx girls, who also had magical powers. I think they saw this as a power imbalance, and they didn't want to take away from the main character girls. So I think they wrote him out.

Which I still feel was a huge mistake. We don't have one main male character who can use magic. And I really wanted one of the boyfriends to be a wizard or a magician. It would have added a new dynamic to the show. Nope, got to keep all the boyfriends non-magical Specialists. 😑

That does make sense given the other boyfriends barely do anything, except give the Winx rides most of the time. Nabu/Ophir would have been an exception

I’ve come up with a crazy theory and it goes along the lines of things I’ve seen elsewhere: the old “it’s all in her head” theory. Here’s my supporting thoughts:

1. Initially Mike and Vanessa didn’t believe it. But after awhile they come to accept it.

It is an interesting theory that maybe bloom herself is suffering from a mental illness and just dreamt up this whole realm of magix, and all of the people that inhabit it. It could be that maybe she’s suffering from PTSD and this is just her way of escaping at all or maybe something a little more severe. Just a thought that I came up with out of nowhere take from it watch it well.
