I think you posted this in the wrong board?
In order to get photoshop, you have to buy it. I think you can buy it from the adobe website.

Yep, that's the best way. Or if you have time check out some office supplies stores.

There is a freeware program called Gimp which is very similar, but if you must have Adobe's version that's good too =).

I use adobe photoshop for all my graphic and my fanart. I luvv it ^^
Uh, anyway, I got it a longgg time ago from one of my sister's friends (that was probably not exactly legal but I was too young to remember...).
I'm sure there's a trial version, but the full version, I'm pretty sure, is rather expensive.

So, if you want to opt for the free version, download GIMP. Or, you can buy Photoshop.

Yeah, GIMP is a good [free] Photoshop alternative. Or Paint.NET, but it doesn't have quite as many features.

If you get Gimp, there are many websites (like for Adobe Photoshop) where you can download more patterns, brushes, and other custom features. (I've found deviant art is a good place to look for these).

I currently have Adobe Photoshop, Paint.NET, GIMP and Photoimpact.

I really want to buy Photoshop so I don't keep having to download it.

But what I suggest is you download the free trial for 30 days. icon_smile.gif

Well, it's extremely expensive, so I can see why your mom didn't let you buy it.

Also, Photoshop is for more advanced graphic makers. Since you're just beginning to learn about graphic-making now, I don't think you really need Photoshop. GIMP and MS Paint should be enough.
