A man of the ripe old age of 55 retires from his previous job. After a few month, he is crazy to get out of the house, so he gets a new job at someplace that doesn't matter.
He turns out to be a pretty good worker, but after a few weeks, the manager notices that the old guy has started to come in to his shift later and later. At first he was 5 mins late, then 10, soon it got to the point where the manager had to confront him.
"Hey, I've noticed that you have been coming in a little late.. you know we can't have that"
"I know, I'm sorry"
"You have to start coming in on time, ok? Did you come in late at your previous job?"
"Infact, I did"
"What did your co-workers say to you when you came in late every day then?"
"Well, they stiffened up, stuck their chest out, saluted me and said 'Good morning General'"

A man calls the psychiatrist at a mental hospital and asks who's in room 24.
"Nobody" comes the reply.
"Good" says the man, "I must have escaped."

How do you tell the difference between the psychiatrists and the patients at
the mental hospital?
The patients are the ones that eventually get better and go home!
