Chapter 1

Chapter One: The Darkness Inside Your Mind.

In the middle of the deep silence of the night a very loud sound awakes you, it was something like two rusty metal pieces strongly clashing against eachothers.
You open your eyes and realizes that you are lying down in a strange place... you don\\\'t seems to remember who you are, where you are, or why are you here.
You are cold, and your clothes are wet with some kind of dirty water, and for some reason you got some numbers written on the palm of your left hand. you take a look around the small and dark room you are in, trying to look for something that connect with you, but you fail to see anything familiar. The celling of the room is full of small pipelines that run from one wall to the other, some of them have little leaks that get all the room and yourself wet, in the floor there is a lot of little puddles stored on the irregularities of the floor, one of them have something inside that looks like a dead rat, in your opposite corner you can see under the light of the small window on the top of the wall, the remains of what seems to be a wooden book shelf that is now trashed by the water that kept falling upon it, next to it there is a old poster written on a language that you don\\\'t understand, and in the wall in at your right there is an old Rusty metal Door, the lock on the Door seems to be broken, so you may open it if you push it very strongly....
You feel a little dizzy and tired, but you manage to stand up grabbing from the cold and wet wall, as you get closer to the door you hear distant voices from the other side... but... are they saying actually words? who\\\'s voices are those? are they friends or foes? Did you get lost? Are you a Prisoner?.....
You go back to the bookshelf and see if breaks. It barely holds but you attempt to climb up, and make it up to the top of it where you can just see through the little window. You see that behind there is another room, lit up, and two men inside talking, but you can\\\'t make out a word of it.
You scream and one of the men out side turn around immediately.. when he see you he just go panic and start yelling to the other man.. you dont understand whats he saying, but he hears very angry, he just grab the other man by the shirt-neck and start shaking him as he yells at him, after that the two man run away from your sight...

What just happen? you dont have any clue... but you can hear them go far from the window. As you try to get off the bookshelf it breaks down and you fall, you are not injured, but the bookshelf is useless...
As you approach to the door you hear the both loud man coming closer to you... but you still dont know if they are coming to help you or hurt you, fearing the worst you pick up a piece of wood from the self...
You wait peacefully inside with the stick in your hand ready for anything. You hear footsteps go past your door but then there is a knock on the door from the other man most probably. You are not sure what to do as you have no idea what the mans intention is
You stay quiet... waiting him to go away... 10 maybe 20 seconds pass and silence.... just silence... you can hear your heart beat getting faster and faster and then.. again the knock in the door... you start getting desperate and then the lock moves and the door opens up slowly, letting in a bright of light from a lamp outside, you get temporally blind because of the light change and when you see clearly there is a man right in front of you, moving his hand very fast toward your head, you try to scream but he put his dirty hand over your mount! and says in signs \\\"Silence\\\", then point to the door... Is he there to save you? is one of the men you see through the window?
You muster all the strength you have into one shot with the stick right onto the man\\\'s head. He cries with rage as you dart, towards the door, shutting it closed behind you. As you begin to run through a narrow hallway, you hear voices from behind you. \\\"He\\\'s broken free!\\\" they cry. Just then you hit a fork in the path.

You run as fast as you can towards the red light not knowing what it is, when you get to near the end of the tunnel you see its a trafflic light with armed guards at it. Whenever you got here its clear you are not getting out soon, you notice a couple of extra rooms at the end of the tunnel that are closer to where the guards are you are unsure if you can reach it before the guards, then you snap out of the planning as you hear people running after you.

You run as fast as you can and enter on the room, but the guards notices you on the run...
you manage to get inside before the guards and the people behind you reach you, before even taking a good look at the room you are now, you close the door behind you and block it with a chair...
You take a moment to get your breath back when you notices that you are trapped, the room seems to be a small storage with nothing but boxes filled with ruined papers and books, you see a ventilation far up on the celling, and the wall on the left seems to be made of wood... before you could even think what to do you hear the men outside smashing the door and yelling at you things that you don\\\'t understand... even when you are pretty sure that you hear a man say \\\"He\\\'s broken free!\\\" in clear english when you were in the run... suddenly in the middle of the noises outside you hear that voice again saying \\\"the failed one is inside the storage\\\"
but... what does he mean?

You try to talk to the man \\\"why am I here?\\\" you ask a little but quietly and the man does not respond maybe you were too quiet so you shout louder \\\"why am I here?\\\". There is a pause all the time the men are trying to break into the storage room which is where you just learnt you are.
\\\"Come out and surrender. Then we will talk about everything\\\" The man shouted back. You don\\\'t if you should trust him or not but its clear you are not going to find anything else.

You take deep breath\\\'s as you look around you and suddenly notice a wooden wall. You close your eyes as you crack your knuckles storing all your energy inside you. Your feet now start to move faster and faster as you charge against the wall. It doesnt break, you go back and try again you charge against the wooden wall as its wood now splits and you fall to the ground. You are bleeding on your head as everything is a bit black. Hearing the sound of flowing water you look down your high above a river and I mean HIGH.
You look around and realise its your best option as you don\\\'t want to spend a minute more here, the people hear seemed desperate to get you and they definatly didn\\\'t seem friendly. So after a deep breath you take the plunge and hope the waters deep enough not to kill you. You land in the water but the currents too strong and you get sweped away. You look out for something to hang onto its dark so you cannot see well. There is a wood to your left and field on the right. A thick tree branch over hangs the river.

As you notice the tree branch your head is slowly bouncing above and under the water current. You spring out your arm taking hold of the branch. You pull yourself up and run to your left. You see a bridge you start take a few steps on it and the wood brake. As you fall you take hold of the rope trying to not fall down.

you grab the rope and climb back up looks like physical education (gym) actually was some use after all you think as you look around. You run into the woods not wanting to be in the open. As you walk through the dark woods you trip over but carry on runnning after getting up. After a while you seem to be lost.

You continue to run throughout the dark woods hoping to find a way out. As you spy a little wooden cabin now... It looks like no one is there
You enter the cabin after knocking and no answer. Its dusty and full of cobwebs it looks like no one has lived there in years you look for a phone there is no phone there. You decide to get some rest. After falling asleep you hear a strange noise
You grab a poker that\\\'s sitting by the ancient fireplace and take wait next to the door. You don\\\'t dare to peer out the window, and you hold your breath as the strange noise gets closer and closer until you\\\'re sure it\\\'s behind the door. You can hear heavy breathing, and then a rap on the door rings out through the cabin.

you wait sitting in the cabin prepared for the worst. Your not supost to be in here and its certainly not been lived in for a while so its doubtful its he owner. Its just a creature of the woods you decide. Another rap on the door and another one shortly after. Its clear what ever it is its not leaving you now must decide what to do.

You figure it out that whatever it is its going to keep trying until it get inside, do you took the poker and walk to the door... and at the moment you hear the sound again you open the door in a swift and swing your weapon as fast and hard you can, but you only hit the ground and lightly hurt your hand on the impact...

You look amaze around to see what\\\'s going on, but see nothing... nothing at all, and then the noise again!

As you turn you see an old branch moving by the wind poking the wall close to the door.. you feel relieve for a moment, then remember the breath you hear.. and then, something move in the tall grass at your right! and at your left! you don\\\'t know what it is but is obvious that is more than one!! as you were about to enter the house again you hear movement inside... could one of those things be already inside? before you could even think what to do a roar from a close distant make chill your spine, a sound you never hear before... you just pick up the poke and...

Discarding the poker, you run around the house as fast as you can go. You continue running back to the middle of the forest where you reach a stream. It appears to have rocks on the bottom, but you do know that following the flow of a stream could get you of here, and the sides are surrounded by huge rocks that will take much longer to get over. Alternately, you could cross the stream via the stepping stones in front of you, but it will be quicker and less painful, even if you don\\\'t know where you are going.

You go as fast as you can across the rocks glad to be the other side and you start running. There is no noise at the moment except for the stream. It seems you have escaped them for now......at least you hope so. As you keep on running you see a road, there is no viehcles in site but maybe you could catch a lift but then again you could be recaught being by a road
You look around, still you can not hear any cars. You now turn and walk down the road suddenly a car drives towards you and stops right in front of you.

You run fearing its one of the people as he looked like he was wearing a uniform maybe from the place you escaped you realised that that plan may not have been the best you head back to the river and start running along side it. You come across a bridge and a road which you assume is the same one you had just seen the car on

Chapter 2: The Painful Truth

(b)
You decide to walk along the road, but this time not looking for cars but trying to reach people or a town... you walk and walk... very close to the high grass on the side in case that you have to hide from a hostile... every second on the way you were almost sure that something is watching you from across the road...
After about 2 hours of walking you start to feel really bad, even if you slept a while on the cabin you are tired and injured and feel really tired... and the now very strong sun is not really helping... but then, at the distant you see a long long fence and at the road an arch with a security post on the left side, you hear a very strong motor sound at the distant from behind.

You can:
(a) Hide on the grass, even when the motor hears kinda far... and you are sure that there is something unknown traveling with you.
(b) Run as fast as you can to the post, even when you are really tired and there is probably someone inside the post.
(c ) keep walking normally as you were doing it before hoping that that motor is not coming toward you
(d) Run deep back to the forest and rest and wait until its darker to get closer to the post, even when you are sure that there is something unknown traveling with you.

(b)

You hear the engine and start running even though you don't where its comming from. By now you are running entirly on adrenalin. You head towards the post and as you near the post you slow down trying to not seem suspicious. You can make out 2 or 3 people but then you think, what if they work for the people you have just escaped from

(a) Do you shout to the people
(b) Do walk past the post like everythings normal

After taking a look around, you think that maybe that gate post and the fence are the entry door to the place you were hold, so you get close to the post and then go around it from the Window-blind spot, as you were sneaking around trying to find a hole in the fence or some other way than the gate, you hear a radio inside the post, it was some kind of internal news report and it says "...Stay sharp, the suspect of killing 6 offices and about 16 civilians on the mountain facility is still on the lose" ..."a Killer?" you said, and then the man on the radio give the subject description... and it totally matches you!! and then he add "He is one of them, remember they are extremely dangerous! proceed with caution, if its possible retrieve him Alive".... You get shocked as you hear that, a killer? and what he mean with one of them? ...but now you have a decision to take

(a) Run in silence and keep looking for a hole in the fence or a way out
(b) Do you get off your clothes (mostly of them) to not match so much the description then run away following the fence
(c ) Do you stay behind the post to see if you can figure out out what's going on
(d) you go inside the post and attack the guards

You decide to stay behind the fence for now and head back into the woods you had no idea about this it almost seems as though you no nothing about yourself or even what you did. Cold you really have killed all the people mentioned, it must be mistaken identity you decide. This means the people you had noticed will do one of 3 things run, call for help or attack you. Defending yourself would make you look like you could have killed all those people catch 22. You sigh your mind is racing scrambling for a memory to prove things one way or another

(a) do you surrender to the people behind the fence
(b) do you try and change your apperance
© do you try and break into the place you escaped from and try and find answers

You make your mind that you gotta figure it out what happen, you need answers even when that implies getting caught again, so you go inside the woods and run as far as you can following the road back inside that place, as you were running you hear people shouting some of them in english other in other language you don't understand. it seems that the people in the post has notices you and they are calling for backup!
you decide to abandon the road and run through the deep woods after a minutes you are completely lost, you look around and there is only trees and grass all look the same,You know you shouldn't be far from that facility you were before you just don't know which direction to take. then you hear that Roar you hear back when you were near the cabin, you look around in desperation but see no one, but you notices a light sparking far on your right, as the sun reflecting on something.. is a help signal? is the creature? is someone binoculars? or even worst a sniper's scope?
You can:
(a) Shout to the light to see if there is any answer
(b) Get down on the ground and move slowly to the light
(c ) Keep running the way you were running ignoring the light and the noises
(d) Run back to escape for whatever the light is

You keep running, that light light could be anything and no one would want your help if they heard that broadcast so it would be a waste of time and energy. Eventually you see the building again while you are still in the woods you survey where you could enter. You notice the hole run excaped from has not been fixed, guards at the front gate and a fence that appears to go around the perimiter except where you fell from

(a) Do you try and go through the front gate
(b) Do you try and climb the wall to the hole

You get to the Hole and enter again that dark room, the door seems to be broken, so you guess they break in after you broke the wall, you peek outside and see people in black running from the back to the front, they all seems to carry a Assault Riffle on their hands, after a moment all was silent, they maybe went outside looking for you... no one will search for you inside.
You start moving fast hiding from a room to another trying to get some information after a while you get a 3 corridors, one have bathrooms sign, the other says detention, and the center one have a big door that says "Security Level Five, only autorized personal", next at the left to the door you see a small cabin with a guard inside watching a monitor that haven't see you yet, and at the right you see a panel with numbers that seems to be a keylock to open the door... then you remember that you have a serie of numbers written with some kind of marker on your hand, almost of them are are still able to be read and the rest are easy to guess by the remains...

You can:
(a) Sneak out to the center corridor and try the number on the key pad without being seen
(b) Sneak closer to the cabin and attack the guard, he seems alone and distracted...
(c ) Go to the bathrooms and wait for someone lonely you can attack to get information
(d) See what is on detention
(e) go back and look for other way to enter
(f) Wait in the dark to see if the guard moves or get even more distracted

After a quick glance around you sneak up to the door of the cabin and see its just the guard and he has not noticed you. This is your chance you decide and with a seconds thought you hit the guard as hard as you can. You look around the room you can see on the monitors every now and again a guard or two wondering around most probably looking for you. You then see a microphone it must connect to some speaker or earpieces you decide. You search the guard and find a key and a pass. Before you can see what the pass says you hear a mans voice on the speaker "any sign of him on the monitors". You freeze that has to be a guard you decide

(a) Do you answer the man's question
(b) Do you ignor the man's question

(d) Do you try the pass in the door
(e) Do you go to the bathroom and hide there
(f) Do you go some where else

Without losing more time you rush to the keypad and use the code, the Heavy door slowly opens up... its all dark inside, as you walk in you hit against something like a plastic belt, The floor is slippery and there is a nasty smell, you cant see anything... you move fast trying to find a switch on the wall for the lights, you know you don't have time to lose, since you ignore the man on the speaker... you assume you are alone inside since is all off, so you close the door behind you to make some time, after a while you found the light switch, as the light turns on you see the whole shocking scenario...

Your heart beat as fast as it has ever beat, you are speechless... and you fall on your knees in shock... the whole room is covered in blood! all of it from the wall to the celling, Your shoes and hand are also covered on it now..., then you think "...So this is where all those people you hear was killed? ...Did you do this? how could it be?"

Now you have to decide:
(a) Put yourself together and go deeper inside this lab-like place you just get in
(b) Open the Door and run away from there... to the bathrooms maybe...
(c ) Turn off the lights again and wait to see what happen outside

You head in deeper into the room trying to see if it stirs any memories you have to know if you really did this or not. As you wonder around you see big tubes filled with a liquid of some kind and smaller chemistry sets with different coloured liquids. You decid not to investigate whats in the tubes as it could be a deadly liquid. You see some papers that are realativly clean. The title Incident report

(a) do you read the report
(b) do you continue your exploration

You take the report and go to a corner of the room under a small lamp and start reading... At the beginning you fail to understand what are they talking about, they say things about an experiment an about the "specimens" but after a little page skipping you got to the part you were looking for...

"...As we fear, the rest of the subjects that were on the trial start to show signs of the infection, three of them from #31003 to 31005 and 31016 start showing symptoms faster than we expect and go berserk when the lab personal was still inside the containers, when the security team arrived there was nothing to do, as a desperate measure the security chief start the subjects Killswitch before He was shattered in pieces by one of the berserk subjects, after the lab lock up released there was no survivors inside the lab"

But then a page later it says:

"...As it was impossible to count the bodies of the massacre because all of them were shattered by the subjects or blowed up by the killswitch we cannot be certain that all the subject were down.

After a suspicious seen of somebody hidden on the basement, we were able to confirm that the subject 31003 was alive and on the Run, the Doctors confirmed that he is not in berserk state now, and somehow he go back to normal, reason why they wanted to get him alive if its possible, yet at any sight of the subject showing Aggressive behavior the order is shot to kill, its impossible to try to reason with these beast when they go into "Berserk" state.

Now you are more confused than before... what are they talking about? how could you "shatter someone in pieces"? as you were trying to think straight you hear a quiet and weak crying of someone who says "Help... help me please.... Anyone... Im still Alive...." As you hear it you:

(A) Turn off the light and wait under the desk to see if someone else comes
(B) Forget about that and run outside the Lab
(C ) Go check who is crying for help... after all you are not a monster.. aren't you?
(D) shout to that person from far who it is and what happen
(E) Keep going inside the Lab in the opposite direction of the voice crying for help

You head over to the noise and as you approach the corner of the room you see a man, be the looks of it he was part of the incident you just read about as his cloths are badly torn and he has numerous cut. However by what remains of his cloths you can guess with reasonable accuracy he is a scientist or doctor. When he notices you approach he cowers with fear and tries to go further into the corner. Its very clear he is extremely afraid of you.

"its ok, I don't want to hurt you" you say but he stays the same way and is clearly pretending not to hear you

(a) Do you try again to get him to speak and trust you so you can help him
(b) Do you leave him as he is clearly to afraid of you, for you to be able to help him
© Do you run and raise the alarm so someone else can help him
(d) Do you continue your search of this room
(e) Do you leave and go somewhere else

You insist to talk to the man, but he ignores you and cover his face with his hands... He is clearly bleeding out... so, you approach to the man slowly offering help, repeating over and over that you wont hurt him, but when you get closer to him he rise his head and look at you in total Panic and start screaming you back off and try to calm him down but he just doesn't shut up.
You start to worry that someone may hear him.. After a few incoherent no he is clearly screaming "Help! Somebody help me the Beast is still in Here!! Security! Security!"
You....

(A) Pick heavy object from the table and knock him down to make him shut up, even when on his state he may die by the hit
(B) You leave him there (probably to die) and keep checking the lab
(C ) You Pick him up against his will and take him outside the lab so someone find him and help him
(D) You Run away from the lab and activate the alarm so the guards check inside
(E) you assume the role of "the Beast" to scare the man and try to interrogate him

(d)

By now its ovious that to get the man to do anything remotly helpful in your attempt to assist him would involve making things worse. So keeping the papers you run to the door hitting the alarm. You end up heading to the toilets you need to get clean. On reaching the toilets you grab paper towels and wet then. Wiping the blood off your shoes you hide in a cublic inorder to minimise your trail. After a minute longer the alarm is switched off. You assume they are with the man but the trail of blood may lead him to your location

(a) Do you quickly clean yourself and try and leave discreatly
(b) Do you try and clean yourself and hide

You stay there for a while, before do anything else you want to know what the guards outside are doing and when they are moving away... you wait... you hear people running.... and you keep waiting but suddenly you hear a lot of screams... you don't know what's going on but you hear someone says its the monster i just see it is over there! ...but you haven't left the bathroom in a while... did someone see you? or did they see someone else?
You decide to:

(a) peek outside to see whats going on
(b) stay until everything gets calm to take a look
(c ) assume that they see you and run away

You stay as still as possible and wait for a sound of someone near where you are hiding, nothing you assume they have either made a mistake and thought someone was you or could it be that the monster was another one of you. That was in the report you read. Then you hear the sound you have been dreading footsteps they are comming nearer.
