I have had a lot of trouble loggin dispite using the correct password. Has anyone else had any issues

I had the same problem. 
I can't remember what the notice said though.I think it was something about a flood-something. Something to keep back an inflow of people who were logging in or something similar to that.

Must have been a glich during that period of time I tried to log in then

It happened again to me my laptop crashed that caused me to be logged out and then it took me ages to get logged in and even reseting my password took 5 attempts

you might have trigger the forum software to automatic lock accounts after how many failed login attempt.
Locked account would be unlock after a few minutes

Oh ok, it still doesn't explain why I had the trouble in the first place and after a few hours break
