What if there was there was highschool for only gifted people, people who are gifted with extraordinary powers and abilities? Colona High fits that description. This highschool only accepts people with with some sort of power or extraordinary gift. However, the students could be from many different social classes from criminals to nobles. Either way, they were potential Colona High students. Some students with rare gifts or powers were sometimes forced to attend the school. Of course this school is completely hidden from public eye and the government doesn't have much information about the school.

Of course there are some positive parts about attending the school. By attending the highschool, the student's family would receive financial support and extra protection. In exchange, the student was expected never to meet or contact their family or the public for four years. Because of mysteriousness of Colona High, there have been plenty of rumors. None of the rumors match up to it's true secret.

Setting: The school is located near an unknown beach. To reach the beach, the students would have to walk through a forest called South Forest. To the north, east, and west, there are many mountains.

The school has four sections. The north is Main Building where the classes and offices are located. To the left of that building is the West Building where the cafeteria and lounge is. Behind that is the gym, fitness room, and indoor swimming pool. To the right of the Main Building is where the gym, fitness room, and indoor swimming poor is along with a field. Behind the Main Building are the dorms. Obviously, the guy's dorm and the girl's dorm are separated. The guy's have the building to the left and the girl's live in the building to the right. To the south of the school is the entrance.

Rules:
1. Only ONE power allowed
2. No godmoding (obviously)
3. Keep the roleplay PG-13. Used your own judgement for this. If you are questioning whether something is acceptable or not, it is better to not post it.

Personality: Calm and colected, he tends to calm things down for those around him, but when provoked he can cause a scene. Forms bonds with others easily and is aways in a battle untill the end.
Appearance: Dark blue shirt with lighter blue lining. Black pants. Blue eyes and deep tan skin. He has wavy brown hair.
Other: I based his powers on waterbending from Avatar

Age: 17
Year: Junior
Powers: Shape-shifter. He can shape-shift into anything, living, and non-living.
Personality: He's cool, and doesn't show that much emotion. He's kind of a player, and is just the right mix of good and bad. He's a good person, but he knows how to be bad when it's okay.
Appearance: Jake has light blue eyes, and short, darkish-brown hair. He's 6'4" and weighs 160 pounds. He has tan skin. He dresses really casually, he usually wears khaki pants, and a relaxed shirt. He wears sandals a lot, and rarely wears closed-toed shoes.

Name: Epik
Age: 16
Year: Sophomore
Powers: Epik isn't exactly sure of everything about his powers. He's still trying to find out how to trigger them. As of right now, they only come up when he's angry, then, he has extremely dangerous, fire-related powers.
Personality: Epik generally keeps to himself, and is quite shy. He doesn't really like to talk about himself, or his private life, and is especially nervous around girls.
Appearance: Epik has shaggy, dark brown hair and eyes and dark olive skin.
Other: Epik has lived with his grandfather his entire like, until recent, as he died. It was under extremely strange circumstances, where 3rd degree burns were found on his body. Because of this, Epik was taken in for questioning, and proven to be a likely suspect. He's now living in a group home for troubled teens until further notice.

Gender: Female
Age: 15
Year: Sophomore

Powers: May is able to see vision of the past of a place or an event that happened. Her power is hard to control and usually her vision spontaneously happen.

Personality: May is rather shy and an introvert. She has trust issues and is cynical. But in the inside, she is pure and innocent who tries her best. Though she is shy at first, once you get her know her, she opens up and shows her spunky attitude

Background: Like any an average girl, May grew up in an ordinary family with a father and mother. However, at eight, she started to have odd dreams about past wars and odd conversations. As she grew up, she found herself to randomly space out and suddenly see how an old room looked it like it was just newly made. That was when the higher ups of Colona High took notice of her. At the age of fourteen, she was taken away to Colona High through dirty methods. Though she couldn't prove it, she was so sure that it was the higher ups of Colona High who made her father loose his job and force her family to use food stamps. It was then that she decided to go to Colona High.

Appearance:
Height- 5'5"
Weight- 122 lbs.

Other: May is slightly nearsighted she when reading, she wear glasses.

Powers:Kassandra Katie can control Light, allowing her to create and also destroy light
Personality: Kassandra Katie is a kind sweet girl who would do anything for anyone however as soon as you get on her bad side she will stop at nothing to stop you from hurting her or anyone around her
Background:Kassandra Katie grew up traveling from town to town with her mother who was always running from her past and also kassandra katie's father, when kassandra katie was fifteen her father tried to come and take her from her mother at which point she got very angry and discovered her ability to destroy or rather take away light she had completely forgotten about her mother as she removed all the light when she had calmed down and the light came back both her mother and father were gone and she was left all alone a year later she discovered a school that claimed to be for the gifted and she went to see if they could help her in any way and after seeing what the school was about she enrolled herself.

Powers: Shadows, She is able to step into a person's shadow and control the person with their shadows like puppets.
Personality: Charlotte appears to be carefree and is sweet and loving but if the time is needed she will turn and use her powers.
Background: Charlotte grew up with her mother, and her father who would come to vist once or twice a year. Her parents never split and her mother would never want to do anything but stay and home when her father was gone. She always thought her father never loved her mom and just kept her to run back to when something went wrong but her father loved her mom very much and when Charlotte found out she had powers when people banged on her door and took her away to the school and age 8. Since then Charlotte has learned to control her powers.

Powers: Control over the earth; mostly over plants, but also animals, to some extent.
Personality: She's very intelligent and inquisitive, but not that street smart, because of her sheltered upbringing. She can be quite naive, and this makes it easy for others to take advantage of her. She's not a very mellow person, and her emotions change quickly, depending on the situation. Her people skills aren't that great, so she can sometimes come on too strong or eager. She also loves to write; stories, poems, songs, pretty much anything.
Background: Leticia is the daughter of a wealthy merchant. She lost her mother when she was very young, because her mom got caught in the crossfire of a local communal riot. She has no memories of her mother except for photographs and personal belongings, and always wonders what kind of a woman her mother was. She never asks her father, however, because the shock of losing his wife devastated him. Since Leticia's mother's death, her father ensured that she always lived a sheltered and protected life, because he was afraid of losing her like he had lost his wife. Leticia had very few friends while growing up, and even the few that she had were never very close to her. This has made her shy, to some extent, but also curious about other people. She has always been home-schooled, until now. Yearning for some freedom, she begged her father to let her attend Colona High, and he finally caved in when she turned sixteen.

Appearance:Bethany has dark brown hair that's down with a small braid on the side and an aqua hairband, an aqua short sleeve top with a white cardigan over it, blue jeans and white pumps

Powers: Aura Reading (The ability to see the energy fields that emanate from living beings. Psychic ability can often reveal itself throught the seeing of auras.)
Personality: Prill is a very stereo typical flower child. Very mellow, creepily calm, and is not very popular because she like to do spiritual activities.
Background: Prill lives with her 21 year old sister in a small, simple cottage on a mountain. She never met her mother or father, due to that she feels no sorrow when there mentioned. They died from horrible hypothermeia.

Powers:Metal. She can alter metal to her ability. Basically, she can change the particles of metal, and control metal.
Personality:Haylie is usually pretty sarcastic. Her view on the world is sort of skewed. She likes to have friends, but can be easily annoyed. She does have a nice side though.
Background:Her parents divorced when she was young, perhaps being the trigger for her dark personality. Soon after she learnt her father and aunt had been in a car crash coming back from court. No one was majorly hurt, but when she went to look at the damage, she felt so angry at her father(it was his fault the car crashed), she destroyed the car using her powers beyond repair. It was then she was examined by specialists, who took her off to Colona.

Powers: Ability to control minds of people. Kyle using it in rare cases, because it has a danger loosing own mind and even death.
Personality: Silent and patient. Can easily be enraged during the fight, at first hi fights using only his Capoeira skills, but in critical situation he uses his mind controlling ability.
Background: kyle used to live like every other normal kid. He unleashed his powers during school fight when he made bully to petrify, what made both of them to be stunned for a minute. No one discovered it exept for some strange people who were viewing the fight. Later that evening, those people banged at his door and took him away to Colona Hight.

(Thank you again for everyone who joined. We have *counts* twelve people so I guess that is a enough people to start up. :) )

It was late fall at Colona High when the fiery colored leaves of the forest fell down. It was also when the weather started to get chilly and mountains started to gather up snow. With winter approaching, students awaited Christmas. The Christmas dance was one of the events that highlighted the year. A huge tent would be put up and heated for the that special night.

Alice had woken up early as usual. Since it was still early, she had started to write in her journal.

Kassandra Katie was already awake and ready for the day she was still used to having to wake up before the sun rises from when she had to break into places just to have somewhere warm to sleep. When she had woken up Kassandra Katie had gone outside even though it was cold and climbed a tree to watch the sunrise and once it did she went back inside and just wondered the corridors of the school waiting for classes to start.

Epik woke at 6:45, 15 minutes before his alarm would have gotten up. He sat, and glanced at his roommate, Evan's, bed. He was still asleep. Epik pulled back the covers, and quietly made his way towards the door. Evan only thought he was getting an extra counseling session. That was all they'd told him at least. Epik smiled to himself. Yeah, he'd totally believe a story where his roommate killed his grandfather with his completely uncontrolable powers, and was now being sent to some special school. Yeah, that totally made sense.

May looked around her room. It was a single so she didn't have a roommate. Because of her good conduct and grade, she ended up not needing a roommate and sleeping on a bunk bed. But it was quite lonely sometimes to be all alone in at night. Sometimes she would even find herself talking to herself.

Kassandra Katie came to an empty classroom that was open she silently looked at her watch seeing she had a bit of time before class began silently she walked into the room and sat on a desk she held her hands out in front of her and closed her eyes "Light the room to obliterate darkness" Said Kassandra Katie softly after a moment she opened her eyes but nothing happened "hmm strange i was sure i could do it" sighed Kassandra Katie before getting back up and leaving the room

Prill got up at 5:00 a.m. "Hm slept in," She said to herself as she went to go meditate. "Then I'll get dressed and go to school." Prill said pushing her dreadlocks out of her face while in a pose. After meditating she ate some breakfast, got dressed and started out the door. She had about 2 or three miles still to go when she stopped and had a rest. "Almost 6:40," She said to herself "Better hurry if I want to get to school on time." Prill walked calmly down the mountain which she lived on stopping occasionally to look at birds, see how they were feeling with her Aura Reading skills.

Kassandra Katie reached the langauge classroom and decided to just sit and wait out the front again trying the spell to create light and again it didnt work "argh why wont it work" sighed Kassandra Katie frustrated and as she was about to hit something in frustration the light in the room started to fliker. Year: 2nd Year
Powers: Rikki is a 'Disruptor', which means he doesn't have powers of his own, but if someone with special abilities comes near him, those abilities will vanish, only to come back when you take a large enough distance from him.
Personality: Timid and scared, Rikki is intimidated easily. He has a tendency to cling himself to a stronger individual for protection, even if that individual doesn't have the best intentions.
Background: Rikki always had trouble with his 'powers'. More precisely, others had problems with it, and took it out on him. This made him hate fighting, and he rather avoids conflict. He's also insecure about the fact if his power really is a power, since he can't activate nor stop it. It just... happens around him.
Appearance: Spanish heritage, with dark blue hair in a little pony-tail and some bangs in front. Wearing a white blouse, blue blazer, jeans and sneakers.))

After a quick shower, Epik made his way downstairs.

"Epik," Dr. Worth, one of a group home physiatrists said. "Are you ready go?"

"Yeah," Epik mumbled.

"Good. I'll be your escort."

"Escort?" Epik raised his eyebrows.

"Yes, escort. Your going to a regular school now, Epik," She said. "I'm coming along to make sure your transition goes smoothly. Especially since you'll be in a dorm room."

Epik nodded slowly. Yeah, except these kids could actually control their powers. His had just...happened. Once. He didn't even know if they would appear again.

"Well come on then," Worth said.

Dr. Worth pulled up in front of the school. Epik just sat, silently in the front seat.

"Epik, I know this isn't the ideal for you," she said, touching his shoulder lightly. "But we need to keep opportunities open. If you want to go to college someday, you'll need to finish high school."

"I would have." Epik replied.

"Well, dear, you and I both know that you weren't exactly...motivated at the home. Which is perfectly understandable considering with what happened to your grandfather but I..."

"Okay, I get it." Epik muttered, opening the car door. "Let's just get this over with."

May hurried towards the class to prevent herself from shivering in the cold. When she got there, she looked for a empty seat slowly. She didn't know anyone in the class and though she felt like she should make an effort to get to know them, she was a bit scared. They had odd powers like her and it scared her a bit that they were just like her. She didn't like her ability. It gave her nightmares and scary vision of blood and war sometimes. She even had a dream about the Bubonic Plague one time. It was horrifying.

May shivered at the thought before taking out her notebook and writing while drawing a few pictures here and there. Writing and drawing was something that kept her company and gave her peace.

Kassandra Katie opened her notebook up and just randomly started writing her eyes scrolling across the page as she did so once she reached the bottom of the page she stopped and read through what she wrote then she wrote across the top of the page *Lost in the Darkness* as she had just written a poem about being lost in darkness even though the room is full of light.

When looked out the window, her elbow moved and her pen accidentally rolled off on to the desk and onto the fool. It had rolled so far till it was under Kassandra Katie's desk. When she noticed it, she started to get nervous and panicked for a second before she tried to reach for the pen. It was out of her reach. "Eeee..."

Epik hesitated. So this was it. He was actually going to this school. After everything that had happened these past few months, his life suddenly felt so..so normal.

"Go on in then," Dr. Worth repeated, giving him a shove. "I'll be along shortly."

Epik opened the door, and made his way to the back of the class, not even acknowledging the other students. He tossed his backpack under the desk, flopped down in the chair, and simply stared at the floor.

"Students aren't communicating," one voice started.

"That's good so at least they won't band together and try to escape or rebel. If you take them apart, they can be subdued but our little soldiers pose a threat together."

"Isn't that essentially the reason why we gathered them?" a voiced chuckled.

"Either way, they need to learn how to communicate if they are going to be useful in the future. I believe that putting a little something inside their food during meals would make them a bit more sociable."

May grumbled as she crossed out a few words. She glanced at the clock. It was time. Zanford came through the doors carrying a bunch of devices. Though he was a language teacher, he would always carry around dozens of gadgets rather than books and what not. "De klasse van de goedemorgen. Ik zie slechts weinigen laat zijn," he paused at his desk to put her armful of gadgets on the table.

"Someone translate what I just said to me."

May squirmed in her seat. All her dreams no matters what country or where they took back were in English even though it was obvious that the characters in her dream were supposed to speak their native language. It was like her visions had a built in translator.

Great, now he had to actually associate with them. Epik hoped they wouldn't have to show off their powers or anything. How embarrassing would that be? No knowing how to activate his powers. Dr. Worth must have told the school. Wait, hadn't she said she was coming back? Maybe then, he could tell her this was all a big mistake, and he wanted to go back to the group home. Background: She lived with her wealthy family like a normal teenage girl. She was supposly born ill and her parents keep her a secret from everyone else, supposly for her protection. But years pass by and she went through some rough changes. Her hair change from brown to a white color and in the sun it shimmers silver. Her eyes went clear blue. Her parents started to worry especially when the strange things happen. Objects around her would left into the air, things would break and shatter. She heard her parents thoughts, and know they are afraid of her. Her parents don't know what to do with her until one day a man from the Colona High came and pretty much force her to go to the school. The man has put some telepathy blocks on her to help her restrain and control her power.

Jake stared at Vandford when he saw him call May over. All he could think was greeeeaaatt... I'm going to be paired up with the "model" students. He did not fit in, but at least he'd get a good grade. As soon as May started talking he realized how shy she was and kind of wanted to become her friend. He followed her over to the group, and saw her look back as if she were checking to see if he was really coming. "What, you didn't think I was going to follow you?" He said.

Jake was surprised at May's response. He wasn't surprised by the fact that she said no.. the way she said it, hurt him really badly. "I'm sorry, your right." He said. "Umm... I'm not really a team-player... so maybe I should just stay out of your way." He glared at May, and turned away looking out the window. He heard them chattering about the assignment, turned around, looked at them all, and started trying to help. He really didn't know how to do the assignment. If it felt like he didn't belong before, he's really feeling it now.

The girl threw her covers off her and rushed to her closet, not even bothering to turn off her alarm clock. She quickly threw a hello-kitty tee on and a pair of jeans with cute badges on them. With one slip of her feet, her feet were covered with slops. She rushed out her dorm, with the alarm clock still ringing in the backround.

With that Vanford walked over to the group that was done. "You are done are you? Lets see your work." Vanford looked over what they had written and gave his approval before taking it.

"Good job. You three can just chill since you are done early then."

(ok sorry. don't think wrong of me but i have to correct your french. Its "Je m'appelle ___.' and you don't use etre with age. it would be "J'ai dix-sept ans.' i'm sorry but i have taken french for some years and i just had to correct that.)

Melody began on her assignment. She didn't want to get up and ask people to be her partner. Beside most of the students probably already have a partner and might be already done with their assignment.

Tristan reached the bathroom and turned on a sick. Sighing he started moving the water around his hand. He felt relieved and relaxed immediately. He turned off the sick, still keeping some water above his hand as he walked back towards class.
