I seriously hope Butterflyix isn't the official name. That's dipping a wee bit too far into cheesy territory in my opinion.

Other that that it looks....okay. Nothing spectacular. Sort of reminiscent of the older Barbie: Fairytopia movie from the early 2000s, which is pretty tacky when you compare it to the other transformations they've done.

From what I can see it would be a surprise if it stayed like that. I would expect a more refined version

True, the couture version of Mythix looks different from the regular version as well.

Oh my this! I admit that I've sort of lost hope after "bloomix", but butterflyix just neh... Apart from being cheesy, it just doesn't have a good ring to it. We can only imagine how the non-English languages would pronounce it. =s

I think they go hand in hand. A bad name brings a negative light to a good design, whereas a good name with a bad design is a disappointment.

Sounds like another 'Captain Planet' type of season like 5. Eh, I'm on board. Season 5 wasn't bad.
The transformation is too frilly for my taste. I like 'me either simple or practical.

Well that is not filling me with excitement season 5 was too much on being eco friendly. I fear season 7 could be similar but on saving animals.

I still think the transformation will be altered, how much I am not sure but it does not seem the same quality of other seasons

I'm not liking the pictures. Reminds me of those hideous, tacky Barbie dolls. And "Butterflyix" just ruins everything. I really hope they change that! Might as well just be "I-Need-New-Wings-Transformation-ix"

I personally never understood the common disdain cartoons with an environmental message get. It's a good message and if it's a good product, what's the problem? Kids caring too much?

I think the problem is that it's too long? I don't recall anyone really complaining about those episodes in season 4, while many seemed to dislike season 5's message after a couple of episodes.

Maybe it is just me but it kept going on and on about being eco friendly and the enviroment. I felt it just became too much of the focus and it got annoying after a while.

I dunno. I felt it was preeeettty clear that it was the focus of the season, I.E., not something they'd drop after one or two episodes. I dunno. It's like complaining a horror show still tries to scare you after the first few episodes.

Edit: Also, it's not just Winx. Add in an environmental message to anything and chances are, just that is what get people's eyes rolling.
