Right where i live here winx is nearly non-existent already and it really makes me upset because of this. Currently, it only seems like Italy and Germany are the only countries having a constant supply of winx (e.g. the belivix dolls, love and pet..etc..) D= How unfair is that?!

Because, y'know.... things like magazines and TV-airings don't count. Or sticker books, comics, puzzles, overall merchandise.... And even if it is, what's the big worry? I'm a fan of several 'Dead' franchises. Doesn't make them any less.

I havent seen any Winx merchandise here in Canada in like years. It still airs here though on CW 4kids.

I remember a girl in 8th grade (when I was in 8th) watching a episode of it on those things that had cartoons on them, like a GBA..
Aside from that, yea i is dead. I don't consider 4kids reruns though

All I really get around here is the TV airings. :/ No toy stores near me have carried anything for a few years now.
("here" being the midwest in the US, by the way)

Yeah, the last time Winx was really "popular" around her was when there was commercials for S2 dolls that introduced Layla, but even then it wasn't very big.

Yep. It seems like hardly anyone here even remembers (or knows about) it. HOWEVER - I went to Turkey to visit my cousin last summer, and they still have TONS of merchandise being sold, and season 4 was being aired (but I never got to watch it) & all kinds of stuff.

aahh it's dead in Iceland, rerunning season 3 like woah.
But I saw that they were advertising Believix dolls for Denmark/Sweden ~.~ /happens to have Cartoon Network for the Scandinavia region what.

For me yes, but actually it will be a No when it hits Spring 2011. xD
If you are from USA, the Winx Club Series are coming back in Nickelodeon. Even 2 Winx Movies as well. New Seasons, but first they have to rerun Seasons 1 to 3 then 1st Movie, after that Season 4, then 2nd Movie. (I'm not sure the plans till we reach 2011)
We will be getting all of the dolls, magazines, games, dvds, and many items back again.

Winx is pretty much non-existent in Canada,but I can't wait for more stuff to come! If only I got Nick channel... I miss Winx Club so much!

I think season 4 drained some of the energy out of the franchise. I am not necessarily talking about its highlights, but rather all the less inspiring connecting episodes.

I would agree it seems a fair few people were very disappointed with season 4. I know in my opinion it was the worst season

While I respect your opinion, I personally disagree. While not perfect, I like a LOT of the changes in the second half. Even if I was miffed at first by the focus taken away from the Wizards, I feel it paid off. Mostly. And I adore the Earth Fairy plot, even if it's just because we finally got to see fairies that are mature and *Gasp* an organised, military force! Not to mention them not being the pinacle of good.
But, as almost all seasons, they do NOT know how to properly END it. And the Duman/Nabu fight had given me high hopes for that.

You know, the Black Circle Wizards or the Earth Fairies could have made a decent antagonist for season 4 by themselves. Perhaps trying to squeeze in both was not the best choice.

That's probably it.... the whole thing felt like two short seasons, that's for sure.
I just hope that the wizards will return one way or another. (Which probably won't happen.... drat.)

I think the wizards did have promice but that was lost and the earth faries were too easy for my liking most probably due to the short amount of time left

Good point about the 'two seasons' feel.
Your comment also made me want to include the picture below. It cracks me up in light of this conversation. You don't think they can return from that? (ha) In Winx, nothing is permanent.
Maybe next they will bring back DARKAR! Ha.

Well, in the Netherlands, we get the seasons and movies translated into Dutch, but that's it.
We are still waiting for the last 8 episodes of season 3 to be released on DVD and it's unknown if that's going to happen.
Same for season 4. The issue is the distributor. Currently, there is none who's licensed to bring out the dvds.
I really hope they will fix this and bring out those dvds.

Well in the Philippines, I think so 'coz Cartoon Network Philippines isn't airing it anymore and that was since season 2 ended. In fact, none of our local channels had aired it since season 2 and if they did air it, it would be reruns, not new episodes. In fact, there aren't any more Winx merch. being sold here in the Philippines. Last time I saw winx merch being sold here was like 2-3 years ago.

Australia's "Winx" died out years and years ago, if you dont follow it like Angel and a few of us do its pretty much non-existant. I remember whn i was 12/13 it was on Toasted TV in the mornings being played by 4kids and now that its on Nick, no one has the opportunity to watch it anymore. most of my friends and their families dont have foxtel and neither do i, so if your a winx fan you have to make the effort to buy seasons, movies, merch from other countries which is expensive and annoying. i remember when they had the dolls in Toys R Us, and i bought two. those where the Winx Aussie days, oh i miss them
I hope Nick does their job and re vives winx in Australia, and not only in amercia. We need it too!!!

I'm from Bulgaria and here we have: the dolls not all the wave of dolls begun with season 4 ,the dvds only for season 1,the movies yes but only the first is on dvd. I expect the second to come soon,books that's the bad part only for season 1, 2 not all and the magical adventure some of them.And the other clothing stuff and acssesories yes we have them.The magasine is good but doesn't have a poster in every issue only twice and that's all.I'm jelous of Russia because they have all the books and dvds and others.But I still believe that everything will change.I thought that in my counry we have not all winx stuff like others but when i read about other counties that winx is dead in them I really feel sorry for them 
. I hope in those countries the Winx to rise again in them.

I know that winx died in the USA a while a go, but hopefully with nick bringing it back, it will become popular again. It would be nice to go to a toy store and see winx dolls in it again. Maybe then I will actually start collecting winx things again?

To Abby: Yep, Winx stuff will be coming back in Fall 2012 during the premiere of Season 5.
I agreed too. I don't know if I can get the Winx Dolls because they're are so expensive. -_-" I got my 1st Bloom doll for $15.99. Now the dolls here are like $30 each. o.o I don't know if that's going to be the same for the Winx Dolls. =/ I'm just gonna collect the DVDs, Magazines, probably books, CDs, and games/video games. ^_^
To Shani: Don't worry, your country will be getting the Winx Stuff too because it's under Nick. =D
