The dolls probably don't because they are oversimplified from the actual outfits.

I wonder about that too. Are they leaving the shoes off because the dolls are still in prototype planning? Or are they leaving out extra accessories in order to keep costs down on the doll? Or like you said Abby, keeping them overly simplified.

Honestly though, if it's to cut costs then they have no business making quality toys anymore. Cutting corners on important things (like a pair of shoes) irks me. It would say to me that they don't value their customers and just believe they can sell anything to kids without standards and get away with it.

I'd bet they are just going with the cheapest option to get the dolls out fast enough and produce a certain number of them.

Which I just found strange. The first few Simba lines (Believix and In Concert in particular) were sooo detailed. What happened?

The need to mass produce a large amount at a cheap price in order to make a larger profit? Who knows....it's a shame to see that it has declined like that though.

Perhaps the art team added the shoes to Bloom's transformation late, sometime after the protoype dolls came out? I hope so. That means they can still add lots more to doll if the model is still in design mode. Yay, more accessories? : )

Kinda figured. Those feet are very non-Winx like. Not saying it's bad, but Winx art kinda has this... distinct way of drawing bare feet.

Well, that shoots the first part of my theory. Whoops. (As you can tell it was doing a good job fooling me.)

So the art team had never released a public picture of Bloom with feet until the chunky heel pic came out. Which means the toy designers (assuming they had access to seeing the full transformation outfit) may purposefully be eliminating accessories, like shoes, from the dolls.

I like the shoes! I'm still trying to imagine them walking and fighting in this transformation because it look so good! I can't wait till' season 5!

Maybe the dolls were based on not-finished images and Simba decided to keep the dolls this way. =o

at first I thought these were the Sirenix because their outfits and wings differ from the Smoby dolls. But the image says "Harmonix".

I think like these dolls more than the Smoby ones. =D

it was probably just a mistake. like maybe Tecna's wings were damaged before the photoshoot so they just used Blooms? it doesn't look mismatched, but I just know it's wrong compared to the smoby line.

actually, wait, no. compared to the Smoby line, Aisha has Tecna's wings on. what's going on here? Stella, Musa, and Flora seem to be right though.

The dolls have a pretty theme, no doubt. However, I really hope they add some unique flair and character to each doll. The overall design is simple and pretty, I like that. But I want there to be more creativity, more personality for each girl, like there was for Enchantix and Believix. These Harmonix doll pictures so far tend to have the girls all look very much the same. For example, their hair is all the same style, their dresses all the same cut. Even Tecna could have a different hair style instead of the same chopped length. I too very much hope these are early prototypes for the final doll, because while they are overall pretty, they are not inspiring me like their previous creations have. Please, no "cut and paste" designs that they can copy onto each girl. The Winx have always had their individual styles.

Individual style to each girl is why I fell in love with the franchise. They shouldn't take it away.

One thing to keep in mind though, Harmonix is not the main transformation of season 5. these might all be very similar because they only are in Harmonix for one or two episodes. Sirenix is the big transformation, which we haven't seen much of at all. we saw that season 5 trailer, but that's hopefully a very early animation, since those outfits and wings were actually identical and way ugly.
