Getting up after his nap, Shinji stretched himself, and rubbed his body, which was sore from sleeping on a concrete roof.
"Fell asleep again....." He muttered. "I wonder if anyone even missed me....." With that he looked at the door. No one. He wanted to be alone, but some part of him was sad that nobody checked up on him. "Probably not. Figures." With that he went back inside.

Jaden couldn't go to sleep. She wasn't sure if it was the odd smell that kept her away or the whispering that kept her awake. Trying to go to sleep, Jaden turned in her sleep but that proved worthless. Oh well. Maybe it would be better to not sleep till she was really sleepy. That way, bad dreams didn't come as easily. Jaden sat up and ruffled her short boyish hair. Looking like a boy often proved to make things easier for her. For instance, the number of assaulters lowered because of her appearance.

"Hey," Jaden called over to a group of girls (Mercedes, Leah, and everyone else talking with them).
