"oh, she'll play next time" JT said smiling "i get payed tomorrow so she will want to play i bet you" he pushed open the door and completly ignored the two parents that entered behind him.

"Yea, so where can i get something to drink .. I'm quite thirsty" Mercedes said getting quite parched.

"So who are you?" Margaret asked the new girl (Mercedes) "Why are you here?"

the parents looked back at JT and the girl before muttering something about him being young to adopt and then Jt had turned the corner into the back yard. "you ready to play?" he asked Jenna

"The kitchen," said Jay, getting up. "Here, I'll show you the way." He walked the short distance over to the little kitchen by the dining room.

Martin headed downstairs

Shinji just sighed, before heading back to the bedroom. All this socialising wasn't for him.

Martin sat down in the main room looking at the others there, there seemed to be a new girl

Sighing, Shinji plunged down on his bed. He didn't get the commotion. New girl, what was the big deal? Thousands of Orphans were made everyday, what made this girl, who acted spoiled and probably didn't know hard-ship until the death of her parents, so special?

"My name is Mercedes and i am here because my house burned down and i have no other relatives to live with," Mercedes said crossing her arms. At first the questioning didnt bother her, but now she started to feel uncomfortable. "Nevermind Jay," she said getting up and walking outside to the basketball court. Maybe some fresh would help calm her down.

Estelle signed seeing as Shinji ingored her question she went out on to the basketball court to watch"Kick his butt Jenna"she said before sitting down on the grass.

Shinji was just hoping people would get hints. He didn't want company, he didn't want to play, he wanted to be left alone.

Margaret frowned. What? Almost the exact same thing had happened to her, yet nobody had batted an eye when she arrived here. What made Mercedes so special to get all this attention? Well, it was pretty rare for someone to arrive when they were over 10... 'Stop it Margaret,' she thought. 'Your jealous for no reason.'




Jenna grinned. "I will Estelle!" She called.

Name: Leah
Age: 16
Personality: Leah's not exactly shy, but more of a reserved person. She's not very social for the simple reason that she's never had any real friends. She doesn't get angry easily would rather avoid a fight, but at the same time, she's not afraid to get her hands dirty if she needs to. Her approach towards others is simple: she treats them the way they treat her. She doesn't always realize it, but she's brave, and she's always ready to stand up for what she believes in.
Appearance: She's small and skinny, and not very strong physically. She has light brown hair and dark brown eyes. Something like this. (Oh, and she has a small scar over her left eyebrow.)
Life Before the Orphanage: Leah remembers almost nothing of her life before she came to the orphanage, because she came here when she was about two years old. She's often heard that she came from an affluent family, but she doesn't know many actual facts about her past.
Reason For being in the Orphanage: Leah's parents were killed in a car crash, when she was very young. She miraculously survived, with just a small scar over her left eyebrow. She still doesn't know who brought her to the orphanage, and hopes that she has some kind of surviving biological relatives out there. ))

"Suit yourself," said Jay, shrugging. People needing time to themselves definately wasnt a new concept here at the orphanage. He walked back to the bedroom and lay back down on his bed.

Kyle decided to go meet some newbies, so he went outside to the basket ball court and walked up the girl (Mercedes) Margaret was talking to before he interrupted there conversation "Hey hows it goin'?" He asked

Estelle laughed, but saw Kyle walk up to the new girl. Estelle stood up and placed her hand on Kyle's shoulder as a warning not to make the girl cry.

Kyle turned around to see Estelle standing there. "Hello Estelle," Kyle smirked "and how are we today?"
