Kay, fellow magixclubians, I need to rant. I'm holding back swearing as much as I can, and let me tell you, it's taking a lot of will. I might post this on DA with my true, full rant later. But for now. I am angry.

Why? NICK JONAS HAS BEEN CAST AS MARIUS IN LES MIS %#&$^&#^#@*#@#&#*&#*(%&#%(*&%*#&%*(#%^&(#%^#$&@$
NO DISNEY IN MY MUSICALS. STAY OUT YOU LITTLE DISNEY-SPAWN WHO CAN NOT SING THE MUSIC. AND WHO WILL DRAW ANNYOING FANGIRLS TO LES MIS WHO WILL SCREAM WHENEVER HE COMES ON STAGE AND INVADE THE STAGEDOOR IN PLACE OF THE FANS WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO BE THERE FOR THE REST OF THE ACTORS. IT IS SO ANNOYING TO HAVE OBNOXIOUS GIRLS WAITING FOR ONE ACTOR, WHO ONLY SAW THE SHOW FOR HIM. WORSE STILL, HE'S GOING TO BE ON THE 25th ANNIVERSARY DVD. HE DOESN'T DESERVE THAT. WE DESERVE A GOOD MARIUS, NOT A TEENYBOPPER STAR WHO THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY ONLY PUTTING IN THE DVD TO BOOST SALES. BUT THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY IS A HUGE THING FOR LES MIS. IT'S MEANT TO BE EPIC LES MIS. NOT WATERED DOWN BY SOMEONE WHO CAN'T SING IT. TALK ABOUT MONEY GRUBBING.

Why do all the musicals I like screw me over? First Love Never Dies. But I can cope with THAT. Some of the music is quite nice once you forget the horrible plot and characterisation.

Now this.

And what's more, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA CAN BE PLAYED BY SCHOOLS NOW. NO. A SCHOOL VERSION OF POTO IS BAD. First, I'm scared. This may mean it's demise. Which could be because of LND, which just makes me mad. And I want to see the original production before I die. Not a revival. And sure, if it does close, it'll probably only be the Broadway production, like Les Mis. And that might mean it'll stay in London, also like Les Mis. Then that one could close at any time. And, yeah I COULD watch the movie, but that makes me want to rip my face off and flush it down a porta-potty. Secong, school kids will butcher it. The role of Christine is far too intense for a school student. No matter how hard they claim they can hit the notes, they're damaging their voice singing that music. And Christine is on for say, 95% of the entire musical. Don't even get me started on the ridiculousness of Piangi and Carlotta for highschoolers.

What about the effects? Those will be absolutely dismal.

What's next. Miley Cyrus as Elphaba?

...Oh God. Why did I even mention that? Now it's going to come true. If it does I may have to commit brutal homicide.

Being a big Les Mis...and Nick Jonas fan, the first part of this rant saddened Jah. She is actually pretty optimistic about this performance. {...But she'd die if Miley ever played Elphie.}

Then I apologize. I am giving his voice a chance, but I can't say I have particularly high hopes for it, specifically Empty Chairs At Empty Tables. Which also factors in acting, which is another concern.

My main concern is the fans thing. Apparently they've had to put up metal blockades near the stage door, which A makes it hard for the cast to get out of the door. It'll be worse with the fans for Nick lining them as well. But what annoys me is that some of the diehard fans will just go because they like Nick Jonas, not because they have any interest in the show. Which could also lead to similar happenings as the POTO movie. The fans who got on board after the movie were, and still are, 6 years later, convinced that Gerard Butler is the best Phantom because he's the 'hawtest'. More so, it could bring on more Eppie-boppers. And they are the bane of my Mizzie existance. We don't need anymore girls who are convinced they're just like Eponine because they listen to On My Own because a boy doesn't love them back. Ponine is way more than that. Her impoverishment is what makes her tragic, and because she has issues. And I'm sure most of the girls who think they're just like her are not missing teeth and being delivered to their father's friends practically with bows on. And then, of course, that will lead to more girls thinking they can sing OMO when they can't. And more auditions for school productions using OMO(which is a huge NO audition piece. It's already overdone). More Eppie-boppers also leads to more Cosette bashing. IE girls who say: OMG COSSETTE IS MEAN SHE STOL MARRYUS FROM EPONINE. MARRYUS AND EPP FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 etc..
And that's not right because a) Cosette didn't steal Marius, she didn't know Eponine existed. And technically Cosette had Marius first (no matter how friendly the musical paints Ponine and Marius to be. He was creeped out by her in the book), and b) Cosette is sweet and far from mean.

Nick Jonas. In Les Mis. *Faints*

If they cast Miley as Elphie, I think the world would be ending. No scratch that, it would have already ended. /totallydidn'thaveanythingbettertodothanreadtheblogs,sawthistitleanddiedinside
