Just like the title said, Winx Adventure, an online virtual world of Winx Club game, will be closing this Friday, April 27th, 2012.
As happened before, we lost Gardenia Park and then now, we will lose Winx Adventure. We just recently have a new update of Garden of Charmix to gain our first transformation in the game. =/

------------------------------------------------

Here's the Official News from the Official Winx Club Site:

To our fab Winx Club fans:
The Winx Adventure will shut down on April 27- we're super sad to say goodbye.
Shops are closing by the end of this week, but the game will be open till April 27 allowing you to keep in touch with all your friends!

Do not worry, we will be refunding back WX for all the items you have bought in Winx Adventure in the last 6 months (so, all the items bought from November 1, 2011). Go to the Winx Adventure section in the Winx Club forum to have more details!
The site will be hosting new events, games and surprises, so stay tuned!

Thanks for making Winx Club site such a wonderful place!
The Winx Club Staff

------------------------------------------------

It's so sad to see another online game gone. =/ I will miss Winx Adventure.

Hopefully, someday they will have another update for the Winx Club Online Game. It's really fun especially with the new update of Garden of Charmix. We will see what they will they have in the future for us for more events, games, and surprises. =)

So everyone who played Winx Adventure, it's time to spent our time there before the closing.

Probably the lack of funding to keep such a service running. MMO games ain't cheap. In fact, they're the most expensive type of games to maintain, even small ones, if I'm correct.

I imagine. That just sucks though, because I would assume that means that there wasn't enough money being made to keep it running and therefore not many people playing it.

im assuming winx is making enough to sustain itself very well what with Nick's involvement and the huge international boom this year and last. But MMO games are very expensive and aside from that each sector of winx would be assigned a certain budget eg, the website and perhaps its spending too much to their liking? i couldnt be wrong.

i'm kinda glad its closing it never worked for me and im not really a fan of MMO games. they'll probably replace it soon enough with a new one. like they did the last. who knows.

Most likely. Rainbow has many websites so the sites most likely have a limited budget. =(

Yeah that's true. =/

It's the end today, Winx Adventure is now gone from the site.

Though, they will be planning for a new game. ^_^

Probably Rainbow Media is not doing good. From what I know, regards on games and apps, it's all done by Rainbow Media, and trust me it's hard to make a living with these in Singapore.

I heard that the economy in europe are not so good, budget could be another thing. Plus I've experienced too much bug while trying to get into the game, and i can't even frickin' play it. I'm not surprised that it's going to shut down, because it's too buggy and even my sister experienced computer clash while trying to get the page load.

Don't even bother telling me about reporting it, I've tried but no reply from them.

They probably then shut it down because of all the bugs and lack of available monies in order to fix it. Perhaps staring a brand new one is cheaper than fixing the current one.

The European economy is heading for double dip recession by the looks of it, some countries already are back in recession. As they all try and battle budget deficits, an awful lot of national debt and rising unemployment.
