I have read the series and I have some friends that are extremely addicted so I might go see it with them. :) Plus I don't have school on President Day! :) That is a good opportunity.

Woah, it comes out on Presidents Day? Isn't that next Monday? It's coming out Friday here, I think.

I'll probably go with my best friend, who's more obsessed than I am. It'll be funny to see her reactions of how they changed stuff.

Question: is this an adaptation from an American book series, by any chance? Just asking cuz I have no idea.

I don't know. Never heard of the book series. Just like I never heard of Spiderwick or Narnia until their movies came out. That, and the title got a 'bookish' feel to it.

Wait.... so they actually use the Greek Gods? Urge to go rising..... but I got the feeling they won't show the funny parts, like Zeus' infedelity and his, er.... creative ways to court women.

Haha, actually to get the extra credit I have to see it, and then write a short review about the similarities and differences in the original myths and the gods presented in the movie. So that's what I'll mostly be watching for XD

There's a heck of a lot of amazing one liners too.

But I was pleasantly surprised, now much they stayed true to the books.

My family and I went to see this movie last weekend. I didn't really like it because most of it scared me. Anyone else agree?

What?! Lucky. You people get extra credit for watching a movie that was made for pure entertainment. I haven't gotten the chance to watch the movie yet but I could tell from the trailer that there were many differences from the book.

Differences, yes. But like I've been saying the entire time: The books aren't the movie.

...except the fact they made Annabeth brunette. That was an epic fail.

I know! Annabeth is blonde! I wonder how different the movie would be if they actually got 12 year old actors. Haha. I'm remember the first Harry Potter movie.

To tell you the truth, the movie would have been less than awesome with 12 year olds.
