I think I had (have?) my email set up so that when a someone PM's me it prompts an email to me as well. Or it used to be that way at one time? So long as my inbox wasn't full of course.

I dig the movie watching idea and am glad Humbu's got some good ideas. It will be random, but whenever anyone makes a date/time I will just have to check it with my work schedule and see if I can swing it. I would definitely try at the least.

We could also use means outside of the board to contact people. I think most of us "old-timers" have each other on Facebook, lol. We could send a message to anyone who isn't as active here, maybe? And I remember there being a topic where all of us posted our email IDs. We could try using those, too, as a backup option. Either way, I'm sure it won't be too hard to round everyone up, haha. :)

I think I have 18 MC friends on FB I could contact, which probably overlap your own MC friends. We could post a status update (so only MC friends could see the invite) or just PM everyone, either way. I'm willing to help out even if I may not be able to join in the fun depending on my work schedule. I think this is a good idea and want to see it happen!

I actually don't think that I am friends with that many people on facebook from the old days but it would be sweet to have everyone back!

i was actually thinking we should have another MCF awards night to go with the shoutbox ball!! obviously slightly changed and tweaked to suit the amount of active members these days and the sectors where active in but i'd love to organise it if anyone interested?

i hope i can finally go to a shout box ball!

Oh, and we'll need another Tiara for the Shoutbox Ball Princess and maybe a Crown for the Shoutbox Ball Prince? Well, Jahnavix put that part together from the first ball years ago. I forget if we did private ballots to vote on the Princess at that time?

That would be great. And actually if we get it planned about 3 weeks (if possible) in advance, I will try to see if I can work it around a shift at work. Or if we watch it at 3am in the morning, I'll make sure I don't work the morning shift? xD
